Pros:Location is on a crossroads for varying Madrid venues, right in between the Chueca and Salamanca districts. Being in between tourist, business, and evening outings venues makes the hotel a good location if needing to do a little of everything. Although the breakfast is typical of an nh hotel it really is considered excellent as compared with majority of the chains other hotels. Staff is friendly and attentive. The only major problem with this hotel which is really unfortunate, is the terrible sounds emitting from the old water pipes in the building. Very loud and obnoxious sounds get so loud in the morning when other guests are taking showers that makes it impossible to stay sleeping especially if you had a long Madrid night out and need some desperate rest. That problem alone brings down this hotel from a strong 5 star rating to a poor 3 star.
