The hotel is in a great location, sitting high above the city and thus enjoys wonderful views of Malaga and the sea. Although, if you wish to spend more time in the city and you have no transport, then it will mean a return ride in a taxi.
We found two of the reception staff to be curt, namely those manning the reception at night and the following morning. Our room had an infestation of ANTS, which was completely unacceptable.
Views from the hotel and our room were fabulous. The bed was super comfortable and the room was generous and clean with a lovely bathroom with nice products.
No kettle in the room. No salmon at the breakfast, which was pretty expensive for what it was.
Restaurant - food was disappointing. Breakfast was very good , dinner less so. Pool area needed a little more privacy from an adjacent public path .pool loungers old and tired.
The location is excellent with wonderful views over Malaga. The public areas are very nice and the waiting staff were very helpful. The bedroom was large and the bed was comfortable.
Large bedroom but quite stark- certainly nothing special. We were given a room at the end of a long and quite dark corridor and the view was largely hidden by bushes. We didn’t want breakfast but just a cup of coffee. However the cafe wasn’t open until 11am and had to go to the main restaurant for coffee!
Beside of Gibralfaro castle. Nice view from balcony and hotel. Very kind of staff and Very helpful to get travel information of Malaga.
Ant is in the room and balcony, so can not use trash can. It was uncomfortable and feel so bad. Room air conditioner control unavailable. If not have own car, difficult to go down town. Only 1 bus per almost 50min. If will come to again Malaga, will not consider this hotel.
