The localisation of the Visitel is perfect. Right between the Platou and City Centre
The room was very small and practically without the window.
Awesome location. Walking distance to everything.
Really friendly staff who could not do enough for you. A convenient location close to downtown and right next to metro station
Lots of internal, steep stairs which would not be great if you had and difficulty moving about
We were able to let our 3 big pieces of luggage and the hosts were very nice.
One of the worst price quality ratio I ever had, you pay for the location, but with the metro who cares, the area is full of homeless persons, it smells what you can expect. There is no lift, not a problem for a Parisian, but the 4th floor is a good sixth. The water is either cold either it burns your flesh to the bone, you need six good minutes to have any kind of water pressure in the shower. I felt like I have been robbed because what could be tolerated for a low end budget hotel cannot for this onerous place. Would not go back.
The position is great, close to Berri-UQAM station, from which you can take all metro lines. It is also a walking distance (less than 15min) from the chinatown, with a lot of restaurants there. Closeby there are cafès and restaurants, and a small shopping centre. The room was very clean and the staff was nice.
The bed was small for having two person confortably sleeping there, and also the room was quite small - the bedside table was so attached to the bed that I had to move it away as I knocked it a couple of times when turning trying to sleep. Also, the room is quite noisy (we were hearing other guests walking in the corridor close to our room or using the toilet - to be precise, there were only three rooms on my floor, so the noise from other guests was limited, but still annoying). Also the fridge in the room was quite noisy. But, at least, no remarkable noise from the outside.
