In the heart of Mullingar town, this hotel with a bar and restaurant offers a home-from-home environment. Local attractions include Belvedere House and Gardens, golf and Mullingar Greyhound Stadium. The hotel’s Ulysses Bar has a life-size wax figure of James Joyce, and other memorabilia. The Greville Arms Restaurant is renowned for its cuisine and fine wines.
The service was great and staff were very friendly and approachable.
I was disappointed with the fact that there was no lift. The bathroom was also very dated and the decor could be modernised.
Convenient location right in the centre of Mullingar
staff were fantastic
location of same
no heat in bedroom
The hotels public areas were good. The hotel was busy and had a good athmosphere. Receptionist was pleasant and helpful. Breakfast was good.
The room we were given is not up to the standard I have come to expect. My room in particular desperately needs to be painted and modernised. The curtains on the window were almost threadbare. The bathroom looks like it has not been touched since the 1970's.
location, it was very central
thank you to all the staff they were really helpfull and very plesent during our stay..
Staff at the reception was excellent The food in the restaurant was also very good The lay out of the Hotel is very attractive
I couldn't sleep until 3:30 in the morning with the noise from the disco dancing. It was so loud that it reverberated along the walls of the entire building to probably all rooms (I wasn't even in a room as close to the dancing pub as other rooms were).
it is located in the town centre, the food and service was good as well as the staff
Close proximity to everything
The lads who where charging and kicking at the front door while we had to wait on the street outside until the Guards cleared them so we could get in.
