We absolutely loved everything!!! The pools were great and the night movie at the pool that they showed was a perfect way to wind down after spending all day at the parks. The mixed drinks at the bar were delicious and the food was delicious.
The only thing that I was disapointed in was the location of our room. I got the room with the volcano view and I had booked about 5 months before we went. When we got in our room we could not see the volcano. We were only able to see the volcano if we sat in the corner of the room right by the window looking around to the right.
Took my niece and nephew to universal for a weekend and stayed at this resort. It was so cute, clean and my niece and nephew loved the pool areas. I would 100% come back and stay at this hotel again.
We loved our family suite. So much room!! Loved the pool areas. Easy to get a bus to the parks.
Lots of walking to get to your room with long hallways
Location lobby and eating area
Room was not very clean we were there 2 nights I don’t think carpets her cleaned
Comfortable room though needs fixing in certain areas. Good pool. Diner area is huge but the food needs to be up to par which at the moment is not.
I was disappointed with the Diner. The food can be looked into. If the food is taken care of then it will be great. If the food on the property is good then people won’t need to go out to eat after a long day at the parks.
Universal's Cabana Bay Beach Resort is a moderately priced hotel and resort located within walking distance of Universal Orlando theme parks and the Universal CityWalk dining and entertainment complex. Standard and suite rooms, a wide range of dining options, and two oversized pools make the Cabana Bay Beach Resort an attraction in and of itself.
Ideal for those who want to enjoy the best of Universal Orlando and have some relaxing pool time as well, the 2,200-room Cabana Bay Beach Resort features everything that a family needs to have a vacation that's relaxing and yet thrilling. The hotel features two oversized pools with a waterslide and lazy river along with an on-site 10-lane bowling alley.
The decor at Cabana Bay is a throwback to the 1950s. Glitzy furnishings, pastel tones and plenty of retro kitsch give this resort an atmosphere that makes it feel like a true escape. But, this doesn't mean guests won't enjoy all the amenities and luxuries of the modern day as rooms and suites are complete with flat-screen TVs, free Wi-Fi, coffee makers, and excellent views of the pool or Universal's Volcano Bay.
The Cabana Bay Beach Resort provides a wide array of dining options for families and adults. Seven bars and restaurants are located on the property including Starbucks, the classic 50s-style Bayliner Diner, and the Swizzle Lounge cocktail bar. Poolside dining and room service are also available, as is easy access to a number of off-site restaurants within walking distance.
Affordable prices, an excellent location, fun-filled attractions, and exclusive Universal Orlando theme park access make Universal's Cabana Bay Beach Resort a great choice for families.
