The country location and uniqueness of the small village around it.
Did not appreciate the owner’s attitude. Breakfast was set with same food everyday. It was not a cheerful place. We usually drive off when we leave, expecting to receive the bill when we get home. He was gesturing at us as we started the car, and angrily said are you leaving without paying? I really thought I had submitted my visa number when I registered online, as is the case with most hotels. So I walked back and paid with my visa. It was a bad experience, and I will not go back. Also one afternoon he unlocked our bedroom door without knocking while we were relaxing on the bed. He apologized, and I told him not to worry, to put him at ease. We were both fully dressed, so it was not embarrassing for me. Also when he was showing us how to use the TV remote, he was short with me for asking a question. Apart from the place being close to my relative’s home, and a nice looking building across from fields, I don’t have a great memory of the place, even though a cousin had stayed there before and recommended it
Location and the surrounding
The bed was a bit uncomfortable.
Situated in a lovely and peaceful rural setting just outside of Alblasserdam, this B&B is perfect for the tourists who want to explore the Kinderdijk (windmills!) area of Holland by bicycle. I however was staying for business purposes and was equally well catered for.
There was nothing I did not like.
Excellent location a few minutes walk from the old town. Spacious room. Friendly staff. Convenient valet parking. Good breakfast buffet
Location was perfect for this area, in a quiet location but with a great restaurant a short walk away. You can access several fun sights, including Kinderdjik and the Boibosch National Park as well as quaint towns and historic Dordrecht. Great breakfast, friendly and helpful hosts. We particularly enjoyed sitting in front of the B&B by the canal for a relaxing break.
