Location staff and breakfast It was a little ghettoish and cleaning staff does a poor job
Price Location Alarm went off at 2am Neighbors making noise all night long Lots of tweekers staying there because of cheap price Found long black hairs in shower Toilet would not shut off
staff was pleasant room was cold and looked a little worn
The Clarion is close to restaurants and the old downtown of Stuart. It was clean quiet and comfortable. Late arrivals will be limited to opt8on for food or a drink.
None of the above.. The hotel insode bar smelled and the outside tiki was nice but ran out of alcohol. Staff was very friendly
Clean, quiet, friendly staff and awesome (free) breakfast buffet! Noise of the cleaning carts going by the room woke me up.
Convenience. We had no problem getting ground floor room. Also, the breakfast was amazing. Again for the convenience and presentation. It started our day off in a great way.
Great place. Included pool and very close to beach. The bed was uncomfortable.
Staff was very friendly--esp. the guy who worked in the breakfast room. Room smelled . . . well, like a motel room. Like insecticide.
Breakfast was great!
I thought it was a great value and I would return to this hotel again. The mattresses were a little firm, but everything else was fine.
The room was clean. The hotel is quite old and tired looking. My room faced a large auto repair station, and something like a cement factory - ugly. Inside rooms have a pool view. Booked BW in part because it had a fridge. Arrived and fridge not working. Front desk told me it was probably just defrosting, which I knew it wasn't and told them as much, all they could do is offer me a few extra ice buckets. Maintenance came in the morning and determined it was unplugged (which you couldn't figure out easily because of the jumble of wires behind the storage unit). It turned out it plugged into the back of the microwave, go figure. Anyway, I learned the reason it was unplugged was because it made a disconcerting banging noise, just loud enough to wake me up at night. It also froze everything I put in it. Upon reporting this and asking them to replace the fridge they sent maintenance the next day who turned down the temperature. Suffice it to say, the problem was never resolved and I resorted to unplugging it, which must have been what the last guest did. While the beds and bath area were clean, the hotel was old and in need of more than a few coats of paint. It was good the breakfast was free because I would never have paid for it. under $100 would still be worth it, but not more than.
Staff was very friendly and helpful, breakfast was great, hotel is clean and comfortable.
Very clean, nice room and swimming pool. Also free internet access and wi-fi a bonus. Cleaners came in before 9am in the morning on one occasion and we were woken up!
Very nice motel for the price and the pool area was extremely nice
We liked your staff. the floor of our room and bathroom could have been cleaner.
We stayed at Sandpiper! Would definitely stay again!
Carpenter ants and dead gnats in the bed!!
We stayed in a room right on the ocean overlooking the pool. The staff here was excellent from check in to the room attendants and the room was clean. Bedding and bath was updated. Everything considered- we had a wonderful time The Marriott needs to update this property. Our room was very dated and tired-old furniture, old rugs- but comfortable. Not up to the usual Marriott standards. We ate at the pool bar- great service people but not great food.
More of a family resort than quiet and relaxing for couples. Main hotel is located right off the main road. Not very pretty scenery as you pull in, definitely not "beach resort" type feel initially. You are a ways from the beach or water view unless you are staying at the hotel's other buildings for a higher rate. Not much included for the price. Rooms pretty basic. For the price maybe breakfast should be included. Staff friendly and accommodating especially after we were initially given a dingy handicapped accessible room. They moved us no problem.
This was a good location for the area. While checking in, Kim was having a hard time with the reservation. To make it up, she upgraded us to a better room. Two hours later, her supervisor Erica, called the room and told us that we would have to get out of the room. Only after speaking with the manager, were we ALLOWED to stay in the room.
Great facilities. Awesome place for the money Maybe some body lotion in the bathroom. Other than that, it was great.
clean rooms very friendly staff didn't offer a continental breakfast
Everything but signage. We booked the stay with Breakfast, which was a good deal since we had time and it was $10 for the two of us. Need more directional signage to front. Our Navigation system dropped us at the edge of the property and we could not see any signage as to the way to get to the front. Probably would have been OK in daylight.
Love the bistro/starbucks Bed
The staff was excellent and the location was great.
Location & the kitchenette in the room was very convenient. The front desk clerk was very rude. She also refused to switch us to a room with 2 beds without charging us for 2 rooms. Room was not clean & smelled, carpet was filthy. The extended stay guests were outside next to our door until about 3:00 a.m. talking very loudly, drinking alcohol as well as smoking cigarettes & Marijuana. They were very rude & made nasty comments the few times we left the room to go to.the store & going to.the ice machine.
I was able to get a room last minute for a week-end trip. The staff was very nice. I would consider this place again if I travel that way in the future The motel is right on Rt 1 so there is noise from the highway. The bath is very basic, but the shower is nice and hot
Good location, close to the shops and restaurants of Stuart which are short walking distance. No hair dryer provided, the beds are in dire need of replacement. That motel was our only option at $101/night for 2 people as the surrounding hotels were going at $180+ a night and we needed a place to stay for a local mountain bike race. I do not recommend this place unless you are desperate and can't find anything else.
