Modern and architecturally interesting hotel at a great location, rooms are very clean and comfortable, staff very useful and friendly. I strongly recommend (!), especially for the city trip or backpackers.
The location is excellent for anyone who want to explore the wonderful city of Pécs, as well as for going on a walk in the surrounding hills. It is also very easy to find.
The hotel is quite noisy. There is not only street noise coming in at night, but the walls are paper-thin! We could hear every word of the conversation of the people who stayed in the room next to ours, as if they were sitting in the same room with us. It was impossible to sleep with people simply talking next door till late at night. Also, we left our luggage in the hotel storeroom after checking out, only to find that a little present we'd bought was smashed to pieces while being 'looked after' there.
The location is perfect for the city centre and the compact rooms have a fantastic quirkiness which should appeal to anyone with a flair for interior design.
The sachets of shampoo and shower gel were woefully emaciated.Flushing the toilet was a "challenge" to say the least.
The location is absolutely perfect for visiting the old town. And it is really conveninet to have a great pizza place just downstairs (and a grocery too). Staff spoke good English and was always willing to help. Great view from room no 13! Nice breakfast too.
No parking owned by the hotel. It is possible to park just by the hotel, but it is public parking, there is little of it and it is very expensive. Bathrooms were definitely on the small side. No wi-fi reception in the room (but it worked in the halls and in the comfortable reception area).
clean rooms and lacation
the toilet flushed badly
Location is excellent. My room was on the upper floor, an attic room, and was spacious, clean, and quiet. Staff was friendly & offered good recommendations. Pecs is a very pleasant small city.
Location is perfect
Noisy room, It's situated on the main road and window is old one, summer time is very hot, so if u open the window, u can't sleep. No air- condition. So I sat up all night.
The hotel was quite comfortable and quiet, near the center of all available tourist activity. The staff were friendly and efficient and provided very helpful information.
Location in town down. Some of staff very helpful and others very indifferent.
The hotel has been designed by a architect in love with himself - great to look at from outside but as a hotel not at all practical. Starts with a very narrow entrance door and if with bulky luggage watch out! Then a narrow staircase up to office and a narrow, winding and creaking spiral staircase to breakfast room - older or heavier guests might have a problem with that one. My room was very long and very skinny and narrow and due to lay-out of rooms with lobby very noisy - uncomfortable. Architect should be banished from designing hotels!! Finally, the breakfast was a jumble of "included in price of overnight" and being charged for - confusing.
The location was fantastic, the staff very accommodating and the room was extremely easy to spend time in.
