the great family atmosphere, very cosy and warm, great services, great food, great pancakes :-) great swimmingpool, good cocktails and watermelon :-) We felt at home
friendly, relaxed enviroment.
Really nice hardworking people. Personal service and care. Good system in their organization
The people there are excellent, they are so nice to you and if I would think to return to Kavos, I would deffinetly choose Konstantina Apartments. no
The apartments are very nice and well equipped. Konstantina is very nice person and an excellent chef. The people were doing everything to make our holidays the best we ever had.The pool was very nice, especially after a day spent on the beach.
The rooms were large, with terrace, swimming pool, clean, staff was friendly We could not pay by credit card, the resort is very crowded, busy, full of English persons eager to get drunk
i like everything. The rooms the pool the resort and the staff very friendly
Konstantina is a nice person, very friendly and he indeed want do the best for shes guests. The pool is wonderfool, the area is for youngs, a lot of clubs and pubs. At the end of our stay they wanna pay 2% more for their bank commision. However I know that I pay a commision too, the person which receive the mony in the cont will not pay at all. Enyway they said: "if is any problem you don;t have to pay". Ofcourse not, suppose that they indeed had a commision for that amount of mony, why should I pay 2 commisions? Absourdly.
Rooms are clean. The 2 blocks of apartments. One is in the complex with the swimming pool and the other is in another street, not 40 m, but more 200 meters, which makes the access to the pool quite hard, and especially because you have to take a really passing street wiht many people and stores. We had the feeling that they just try to make money with tourist. The check out is really ontime! (At 11am normally and at 11.01, somebody was knocking at our door and was telling us to leave!). And on the top of that, Kavos is a really special city, not recommanded if you want to meet the traditional greek island. We are used to travel, and it's the first time, we are so much unsatisfyied.on the top of that, we had 2 lamps broken, cooker broken... Bad luck!!!!!
Very nice family, great apartements and food.
Very friendly and helpful owner. Quiet location in beautiful surroundings Although the hotel is located in Greece, the only language spoken by the owner is Italian. Communication can be difficult at times
cleaness, aircondition, close beach, good taverna, supermarket, good price, beautiful garden, nice place for breakfast The manager does not know english- only Italian, to me it was a problem.
The hotel was in a quiet location with a few tavernas close by but mainly fish restaurants. A car is useful as the larger town is about 5Km away. A small supermarket is just down the road with an English owner, useful as Franco the hotel owner speaks very little English. Franco is very helpful and there are plenty of sitting out areas around the hotel. He does own four dogs though! They bark a lot but are friendly. We went at the end of October and the weather wasn't good which meant no hot water on some days! Franco supplied us with extra blankets as the rooms are designed to be cool. There should be no problems in the summer.
The owner was very friendly and helpful even though he speaks only greek and italien. If you plan to travel anywhere on the island you should rent a car. Taxis are expensive and the buses run on time, but not frequently. Car rentals are very reasonable and you'll cover the cost quickly if your alternative is taxis.
Franco is the best part of my experience at the Hotel Helios Splendid. He gave me suggestions on where to go every day and loaned me his wife's bicycle to get around in for a day prior to my rental. I rode to the near fishing village of Petreti where I went swimming and took pictures of the boats coming into port in the morning. He is only open during the holiday season and is of the old school where attention to the needs of his guests is important. This is not a dislike, but a notation/observation about the current trend in Europe. There are no phones inside the rooms so any phone calls that need to be made for a car or otherwise need to be made from the reception desk. Franco is more than glad to help out, but be aware that if you are from the US, you should buy a cellular in Corfu Town before three O'Clock every day at Vodafone. Buy a Greek phone, get ten euros worth of phone time and that will be enough for you to have a phone for emergencies. Nobody tells you these things beforehand. You just find out when you get there. Also, there is no bus service to Boukari. The roads are too narrow. There are no cash machines in Boukari. The nearest cash machine is in Moraitika.
The calmness of the site and the coolness of the afternoons. The garden is very beautiful. I found the manager to be very friendly and informative. Though he only speaks Italian well, we got along in French with the odd word of English. Boukari is lovely as a resort, totally charming. If you go, stay at the Helios, you will not be sorry. I liked Dick and Dick, the dogs, though they do bark a bit! There was nothing I disliked about my stay.
a special place, in a quiet village, far from the tourist crowds, and it gets even better if you have a car or if you rent a scooter, given that there are many beaches and fish tavernas around. We particularly enjoyed our long breakfasts in the garden and evenings reading in the balcony.
Off the beaten track, not touristic, friendly owner, great views from balcony, walking distance to beach and variety of good tavernas for food. Not really!
nice garden, very clean pool, one of the best hotel from kavos,
The hotel charges extra for the AC. Do not recomand to stay at the hotel if you are over 20 years old.
Very nice staff, an excellent pool (the water was very clean and warm) .. the manager and his wife .. very friendly. They also own a nice taverna where you can eat a lot of tasteful dishes with a very good price. No
Peacefullness (outskisrts), kindness of the staff, lovely swimming pool, proximity to the sea. Over-price of 5 €/day for air conditioning, unavailability of a matrimonial bed, sheet always stained, bathroom uncomfortable and without bidet, near beaches very ugly.
Very nice hotel well away from the noise of central Kavos. Rooms were good size and the cleaned daily. Hotel was approx 30 seconds from the sea by a secluded part of the beach which you have to yourself on the most part. The road between Kavos and the hotel was (in my opinion) very dangerous at night. Although not a great deal of traffic, transfer coaches seemed to thunder round blind bends in the pitch black with no regard for people travelling back to the 3 or 4 hotels in the AsproKavos area. Much safer (and nicer) to walk back via the beach.
The hotel was fine, rooms were clean, the location not so close to the beach but ok because it is a lot of peace and quiet. they had there a very nice garden. I didn't like the manager of the hotel, a lady who was not very flexible.
The position is safe from the big explosion of Kavos night parties. The swimming pool is very good. You'll need a car, a scooter or a bike if you want to reach the centre of Kavos or a sweet beach (I mean a "greek" beach with rocks and blue clean water). The bathroom is a little too small.
The hotel staff was excellent. They did everything they could for us to relax and enjoy our stay there. The pool was amazing and the location of the hotel was great: far enough from Kavos so you can get a good night sleep if you want but also close enough to Kavos so you can get there in 10-15(max) minutes by foot.
Lovely family run hotel offering comfortable accommodation with open sea-views. Rooms are very clean and well equipped. Hotel is located near super market (2 min walk) and you will find just about everything you may need here. The food in the hotel is fresh, good portions and excellent value for money - we ate lunch daily at the hotel since it was so worth it. Vassilis & Dimitris (the brothers than run the hotel) are very down to earth and provided us with immediate assistance whenever we requested.
Perfect location, on the beach. Poor breakfast.
The owners and staff were very friendly and helpful and the location was perfect.
The staff was excellent, clean air conditioned rooms rooms, quiet, outside Kavos, cocktails in the pool were 4 euros, draught beer 2.50, 10 min from Kavos by beach, great pool and jacuzzi No mosquito nets, the housekeeping didn't speak English, taxi from Kavos is 8 euros, an oven would've been nice to be included in the kitchenette, the water from the a/c was spilling on our balcony
Right on the beach We only stayed one night at Sweet Dreams and then cancelled directly with the hotel to stay at another hotel. The room was extremely basic. The door was difficult to lock and unlock. Air conditioning did not work. Cockroach in room. Expensive compared to other apartments in the area. Charged for sunbeds on the beach which belonged to the hotel.
Big pool, close to the beach, nice owners many mosquitos, very big need of mosquito nets. More colours in the rooms
We enjoyed the pool. Also the quietness was significant plus the view of the sea. All the windows had not fiber cloth for the mosquitoes also the parking was not sufficient in the middle of August
The owners are very friendly and ready to help; the location is very good: near a quiet beach The quality of the room (inclusing sheets, etc) is quiet poor
The hospitality of owners is the nice thing that I like during my station in this hotel. The owners were lovely and had created the environment most homelike. No
very relaxed hotel, with very friendly and helpful staff. rooms cleaned everyday, which contained everything you would need
We stay at the hotel one week on the end of August. Everything was perfect. The owner family was very kind and hospitable. Greetings to Niko, Greg and his mother.
Good location (1 h by ferry from continental Greece) ;beach is next to the hotel (50 m); a quiet, calm place; delicious meals; very friendly and hospitable staff (especially thanks to host Gregory Makantanis! )
