location, fantastic beach, sand water sunsets friendly staff
Location was beautiful - sea bay and hilly rocks, sandy beach, blooming greenery all around. Petra restaurant has an amazing views - especially during the sunset. Food was great, variety during breakfast meal would be improvement.
Staff at the reception very arrogant, not helpful and have fake smiles. Do not book standart double room - photos doesn’t show the whole information. These rooms are in the basement and has a view to the wall. We asked to change/upgrade a room (for extra money) said ok and after a few hours said no - do not have available. Also didn’t change for half a stay. And was quite mean, no interest why we want to change, no interest to try. Pool Towels changed from 10-13, we came at 9.40 - said no, we change at this time. Spa procedures also mist. They give a gift of 15min massage, but you can have it only at particular time 1-2 options if the time doesn’t fit, your problem. If you book a full massage - than all the times available. And we tried to book a table for a la carte. You can do that only from 3-5 PM in a particular place at the hotel. One day people waited - no one came. In a reception they said that person is sick and no one replaced him/her. And they put us on the waiting list. They informed us on the same day that we get dinner at 9 PM. As we were with children we said that this time is late for children and asked to go to all inclusive restaurant. After long discussion they said ok. We took food for kids. One ate his food, another took spicy pasta and we didn’t want to go and put another food as stuff were watching us. Finally we went to Pergola restaurant. They brought us kids menu. We ordered food and one portion of kids pasta -6€. She took order and at the end she said that she is informed that our kids had a meal in the main restaurant. I said yes, only one kid took spicy pasta and didn’t eat it. I said ok if it is a problem, no asta for kid. She said we won’t leave a child without meal. But kid got no pasta. He had bread with butter. Strange. And elevator was broken all the weak during our stay. Animation poor.
Beautiful place, sea, nature, hotel building and around place
Poor food quality, juice , fruits, cheap cheese , sandwich no blanket , just sheet
Views, location and staff friendly
Shower wasn’t the greatest but only fault I could say
We loved the location, very near everything and a dream of a beach. The staff was very friendly and helpful and the complimentary 15min massages were lovely. All inclusive drinks were a good variety and the barmen were creative. The junior suite had a charming balcony and nice sea view.
It is run down, the bathroom had signs of rust decay and the floors were not quite cleanly swept daily. The beach towels were also dilapidated - they had holes in them. The air conditioning was turned off but it was cold to sleep without cardigans. The only super clean, relaxing and new place was the spa, which was a bit pricey though (70-80-90€ for 50-70min massages). The kids area was two outside gadgets attracting zero kids. The food was one and the same display every morning, lunch and dinner - meat underdone, fish overdone, a bit low on the freshness and taste scale (since we vould compare when eating out at small tavernas) and generally a disappointment. It might have been a 5* hotel once, maybe 10 years ago, but at present I’d give it 3* at best considering the condition and food. Our stay was not worth the price we paid 1000€ (for nearly off-season).
