Pros: When you get there, the location is stunning! Really well maintained. Nice swimming pool, fantastic view to mountains. Shame the weather was too cold to enjoy in swimming. Easy to communicate in English. Breakfast is full Italian (no bread, cheese, salame...) but we knew that. My husband asks for integral pasta for dinner, and they prepared it. Fantastic cappuccino (made by a lady)!
Cons: Shower is the smallest one i've ever seen, hard to wash your hair there. The room is too dark at evening/night, need more light. We had a dinner in their restaurant and it was ok, nothing special. Pasta wasn't home made and that was disappointing. The road to get there is for small cars and good drivers only!
Pros: The view of the B&B is amazing, as well as the pool area's. We stayed in one room with a huge spectacular balcony.
Cons: The bathroom is a bit small, with no bath items (like hand and body soap for instance) and flushing system wasn't great. Otherwise, everything was great!
Pros: Everything was perfect, beautiful views, delicious food with tasty vegetarian options, very friendly staff, comfortable big bed which I was delighted with as I’m 5 months pregnant. All staff were very accommodating and we loved our upgrade to the room with front balcony overlooking the mountains and sea. The pool area is lovely too! I’ll be recommending it to friends visiting the area for sure! Thank you all!
Pros: Beautiful setting
Cons: Difficult to reach By car. So it was difficult to go for dinner to another place
Pros: An amazing view around the hotel! Very friendly and nice staff. Incredible local food in the restaurant. Good breakfast. The city center of Pimonte get reached by easy 15 min walking
Cons: Sometimes the water in the shower vanished but after a few minutes returned
Pros: Very beautiful view from the tarace. The staff was very friendly and helpful. Food was excellent. Nice and relaxing place. Also the pool was very nice. Thank you for the nice hospitality. We had a wonderfull time.
Pros: Incredible view, even from our room!! Staff and host very friendly, they can help you with everything! Dinner were also very good for a good price. If I go back in the area for sure I will stay again here!
Pros: The View was amazing. The food and service were fabulous. 100% recommended.
Pros: Superb views and well positioned dining room and terrace.
Cons: Very, very small shower cubicle! Bad ventilation in the kitchen meant that our clothes smelt of cooking.
Pros: The staff was really kind and helpful. The dinner was unexpectedly large portion and huge variety of different traditional tastes in logical price. The breakfast was also very tasty! The view was stunning and the pool was really clean and well set even if we ve been there in April.
Cons: There is a difficulty in the road till there and it's not very easy to reach it from Amalfi. Small cars or motorbikes suggested.

Pros: Great location with a view of mountains Newly furnished room
Pros: very nice view from balcony. very friendly and accurate host.
Pros: Room was very spacious. The owner was friendly. Location is on the mountain near Pompeii, Napoli, Salerno, Sorrento. There is a restaurant/bar walking distance. Beautiful scenic view of the mountains and part of the sea.
Cons: It is difficult to locate the property because there aren’t any signs and google maps wasn’t getting it right.
Pros: Clean, comfortable and lovely host. Large room with nice view. Can't see the ocean but nice views of mountains. Pets were sweet so be kind to them. Giuseppe was a great host and fresh breakfast.
Cons: Could have been closer to either Amalfi or sorrento. Was in between the two which meant 40m drive min. To get to either. You have to be a very confident driver to get through the roads and traffic. However was very peaceful and quiet.
Pros: View. People were nice.
Cons: Place impossible to find-no signage. Place lacks things like carpets, curtains, etc. Had to pay extra for the A/C(€10/night) even if we did not use it. Towels not changed and bed not done (need to pay extra for change of towels and clean room and do bed). Bathroom did not even have a towel rail or toilet paper rail and no shelve on the sink.
Pros: the owner and his wife were really polite, the room was perfect and clean, and the view from the balcony was the best. also, the owner drove us to the nearest place where we could take the bus ( 10 min ride ) differently coming again soon
Cons: it was hard to communicate because the owners didn't speak English, but we managed to understand each other with translating app on the phone. but the owners were very polite and helpful
Pros: Spacious, very good breakfast, beautiful view from balcony
Cons: No fridge, no kitchen, no hairdryer, no air conditioning
Pros: Very quiet hinterland setting..host bought hot fresh croissants from nearby bakery for breakfast..
Cons: A little further out than stated and from Amalfi coastline..and a little difficult to find due to no sign
Pros: Loved how helpful the family I was staying with were!
Cons: A little more variety in the breakfast perhaps
Pros: The view was lovely
Cons: It would have been nice to have somewhere to hang the bath towels

Pros: We felt great at La Casa Del Ghiro! Very clean room, comfortable beds, helpful owner. Everything was perfect. An amazing place and location. Thank you for your hospitality and kindness.
Cons: It was really conplicated to fint the exact place, but it was because of google maps inaccuracies.
Pros: The landscape is absolutely beautiful, fantastic pool for kids, staff amazingly friendly and helpful.
Cons: No connecting rooms, the pool wasn't super clean.
Cons: Totally not what we expected and 7 days was far too long. It’s a long way from the the beach and nothing to do, so should only be used as a one or 2 night stay. The rooms were very basic No mobile phone signal and the WIFI very poor
Pros: The grounds where very beautiful, and pool area was lovely
Cons: Our room, booked with a balcony, got a room at the back of the hotel no balcony no real view, hot dark and noisy! Bathroom was awful, smell of wee, even tho I bought my only cleaning product, shower was poor and no stable temperature. Bed was as hard as the floor and the pillows was like sand bags.
Pros: Set in a lovely area out of the main tourist trail. About a two hour drive from Rome,a good start to a southern Italy road trip. Beware the GPS may take you on some narrow roads. Fantastic regional food produce from their own farm and area. Staff were very helpful and interesting walk around the area.
Pros: The property is well located; quiet and overlooks the adjacent valley. The staff were friendly and helpful and the rooms well appointed . We had dinner the first night which was excellent.
Pros: Great location and staff really nice and the pool was amazing and great swim in the nature
Pros: Location and setting and view
Cons: Pool area not cleaned regularly. Menu never varied and more expensive than local restaurants. Room very old fashioned. Aweful shower room. No air con. Wifi poor and not working in room.
Pros: Nice and friendly staff
Cons: I was annoyed when the payment went out just after I booked, I understood it would go out before the holiday in August.. but I bookedDec!! Other members of my family also booked the same hotel and had not been charged, they were able to cancel their booking unlike me! on our last day the venue was let out to for a wedding/ baby christening and the pool was overflowing with visitors, the eating area was full and it was very noisy, this hotel is literally in the middle of nowhere so difficult for us to get anywhere so we ended up staying in our room. when it came to paying our final bill we were overcharged , our bill included items we had not had.. we were told the bill included 2 euros each for just sitting at the table! this was not mentioned to us at any point of our stay! the food was nice but the meat was very expensive.. we ordered 3 childrens hamburgers at the understanding they were 4 euros each, they were tiny , just bigger than a fifty pence piece and we were charged 12 euros for 1! that was 36 euros for 3!! and that didn't include the fries! we were shocked to say the least! then we had to pay our hotel bill as we had only paid our deposit! we flatly refused as I had the bank statement from January proving we had paid.. Most staff could not speak English, which made communication difficult but we muddled through. Beautiful setting if you want a complete retreat but don't rely on public transport! its virtually impossible to get a taxi to go that far to get you!!
Pros: The garden is really beautiful, but everything else needs a face lift.
Cons: This place is in the middle of nowhere! If you like wildlife and mountains then go for it, but otherwise it will not work. We booked it because it had a swimming pool and we thought the location is nice. At the end of our stay we never used the pool as we left the place early in the morning and came back after midnight. The garden is really nice, but the rooms are crappy. Pur friends had a big room which smelled strange and our room was small and smelled strange as well. the walls are made of paper as we could hear everything - but everything - happening in the rooms next or below us. I did not like the breakfast either as it was served inside and not in the graden even though it was summer and we were told where to sit.
Set in Pimonte, a 20-minute drive from Pompeii, Hotel Ristorante Montuori offers free WiFi, a restaurant and air-conditioned rooms with a TV and a balcony. This hotel also includes a terrace and a bar. A sweet breakfast is served daily. Classic Italian dishes and Campania specialities can be tasted at the restaurant. Rooms have tiled floors and views of the sea or the Vesuvio. Each features a private bathroom with free toiletries and a hairdryer. Castellammare di Stabia and its beaches are a 15-minute drive from the Montuori. Sorrento is 25 km from this property.
Cons: Crew don't speak English well Air condition works only from 18:30 till 23:00 The air condition in Rooms on 3rd floor Don't work !!
Pros: The staff was very friendly and helpful. For every request we had, they answered kindly and willingly to help. Thanks for that!
Cons: I didn't check well the location of the property before booking. The hotel is located in the mountains between Sorrento and Salerno, which made us drive for about 40 minutes every day to go to either side. If you plan to be around Sorrento, then stay in Sorrento; if you want to hang around Salerno, then stay there. Having said that, the fact that the hotel is in the middle, helped us to go to both sides. So, it makes you pay with a little time to go to any place, but at the same time it opens up the possibilities. Just be aware of this fact.
Pros: Great views toward Napoli and the local houses from our room Very helpful staff who provided us with useful information about public transport options to Sorrento and Naples. Hotel located within a 5min walk to the Pimonte village plaza for restaurants and shops.
Cons: The main and only road up to the hotel in Pimonte was narrow and windy for 10km. It required a drivers attention at all times .No other issues or problems .
Pros: Views are wonderful, lovely day in the pool before heading to Pompeii in the afternoon. Staff are friendly and helpful.
Cons: Air conditioning didn’t work properly in one of our two rooms.
Pros: Views from our room. Housekeeping staff kept the room clean and tidy.
Cons: Not particularly welcoming to foreign guests. None of the staff speak any English. There are rules around use of the pool which are not explained and there are no notices. -Firstly, they ask for extra money for use of the pool. We said it was included in the booking so that was sorted. -Next, especially at the weekend, lots of local people arrived and there were no loungers left at all. I was told you have to book, when I asked how you do this, apparently you have to book the day before with reception (perhaps with extra charge?) At lunch time all the pool users move across for lunch, again how to book this was never made clear but I assume it's when you book the pool. Even notices in Italian would have helped!! There is a large bar but when we asked if we could purchase drinks one evening, we were waved away. Half an hour later after a visit to the village to buy a beer, the bar was being opened for an Italian group who had been eating in the restaurant. (No idea how you arrange to eat in the restaurant there if you don't speak Italian!) There were a couple of events during our stay (wedding reception and a party) which were very noisy. There was no info about what was going to be happening. Altogether, the place is clean and tidy, the views are beautiful and the location gives access to different areas if you hire a car, but the experience was frustrating and we would not go back.
With a stay at Resort Sant'Angelo & Spa in Pimonte, you'll be in a provincial park, within a 15-minute drive of Gulf of Naples and Sorrento Peninsula. Featured amenities include a computer station, a 24-hour front desk, and luggage storage. Guests may use a train station pick-up service for a surcharge, and free self parking is available onsite.
Cons: Price and breakfast
Pros: Staff were very friendly! One day there was nowhere open for lunch as it was siesta, we were so hungry and the staff actually allowed us to make sandwiches. Bar tender was also very helpful and made the best cocktails! Highly recommend for people to stay for the scenery and away from the busy popular tourist destinations. Great value money! The restaurant was 5 star and the free bread is something I will remember and miss at home. The shower temperature was perfect, very fast to heat up. Lots of parking available onsite for free.
Cons: Going to miss not having the bread anymore, nothing to complain about
Pros: Friendly and helpful staff, great breakfast, nice view from the room and a good pool
Pros: Nice hotel for a quick stay while on route
Pros: Nice view in Superior rooms to Napoli, clean, nice service in bar/restuarant/pool area, free parking
Cons: parking is other side of very dagerous curved road, room service is bit sloppy (everything was clean but they forgot doora opens, things to wrong places etc), description of room differences and family room setup was not clear in booking.com as well in hotel webpage, breakfast was boring and absolutly same every day (I dont know who is making that scrambled eggs - you need to get normal recipe, this is just discusting), they couldnt fix roster machine for 10day - it was constantly broken or made terrible sound. They call themself SPA, but its open only in weekends.
Pros: Great breakfast, clean rooms, very nice outdoor area and great surroundings! The view from balcony was incredible.
Cons: Cleaning service was a bit disturbing as they knocked to the door often and didn speak english.
Pros: The hotel staff was very welcoming and accommodating. We didn’t have time to use the spa area but the pool was great. We ate à la carte for dîner which tasted very good and was good value for the price. The breakfast was ok. The room was nice and clean. We can absolutely recommending this hotel.
Pros: The structure outside was very nice, nice pool, good restaurant and the personnel was nice. The view was very nice you have a good panoramic of Vesuvio, Castellammare di Stabia and all the small countries around. A lot of green is around because the hotel is on top of the mountain.
Cons: It’s divide in 2 parts, one is more new then the other. By the pictures that I booked was very nice then when I received the room was disaster. I got the old side probably. The room was with old forniture, without lamps for the night, I went personally to ask one when by the pictures were 2 every room. The ceiling was dirty and it was full of humidity not nice to see for a 4 stars hotel. I booked a room for 4 people and I received one room with 1 single bed by the entrance, the other single bed closest to mine queen bed. The bathroom was small and without space for a beauty-case. The terrace was dirty, rusty and with bad maintenance. By the reception there are young people and they lost my room key in the same day after dinner, then they gave to me one spare, really really bad. Breakfast was ok a little bit poor for a 4stars hotel. I travel a lot and this hotel is not look like the others, they need more effort.
Cons: We didn’t realise it was a training hotel, so the young staff seemed at a Loss as what to do when we entered the restaurant but the man at the reception was very kind and courteous as were the waiters in the restaurant when they realised we were there to eat, the food was very good.
