It was close to Carnegie Mellon- where I needed to be. It had a lot of charm and even though historic, well-kept up. I liked that it had a bar and ability to order a little food. Comfortable bed and large bathroom. The staff were wonderful!!
My bedroom was loud from the traffic from the street even with some kind of fan that ran all night. It needed a good vacuuming and the shower pressure was so low, I didn’t dare wash my hair.
We visited Pittsburgh just a few days before Halloween. This treasure is amidst a lovely neighborhood that was all decked out with spooky decorations! The Mansion itself was elegant and well cared for. The beds & pillows were very comfortable. My party had 3 Rooms - we’ll be back!
Had no issues
Position and rooms
When we checked in the staff were not very friendly. I also felt that during breakfast.
Friendly staff. Very accommodating
Staff stood by while we struggled to open the front door with luggage. No elavator and no help with bags. Front desk not friendly. Didn't bother to say goodbye even though the 3 staff standing near knew we were leaving. Black mold around shower. Room hot.
