The wonderful situation of the hotel abit rnu down in the bedrooms section awful coffee for breakfast
Wonderful view from room of beach etc A bit far out from town, staff were not 'cheerful', decor needs some money spent on it, & 7euro per night car parking charge was a disappointing, hidden extra
The view from the room over the sea, beach, rocks and pine trees is stunning. One of the best breakfasts I've had in Spain; really lovely lounge, bar, terrance and spa. Unlucky they had a wedding party on the Saturday we were there but they stopped the dancing at 11.45pm so very good really.
Room with sea view was spectacular. The hotel is built on a cliff with a golden beach (coarse sand) beneath it. Reception were very helpful and friendly and the room rate was very good indeed. The room was very comfortable and relaxing. Attitude and working approach of the breakfast staff left a lot to be desired. They were noisy, sullen and on the first day when we were late down to breakfast one of them was very hostile. This would not be acceptable in a 2-star hotel and much less in a 4-start resort. In addition, why does the hotel charge for overnight car parking? This may be common in some hotels, but was unexpected for us coming from Ireland.
We stayed at a triple bed room which has fatastic view, we could see sunrise from sea on the bed. Blackfast and dinner was nice with reasonable price, we will stay the hotel again in case of visiting San jose again. highly recommended. Wifi is available only at public area/
The staff were caring and helpful. The view of the sea was amazing. Strange smell in the room(not too bad).
Great location, comfortable room. Good breakfast. Restaurant expensive with very small portions. (Not for a hungry golfer). Bar closed at 12pm
The staff were very good, friendly & helpful, especially in helping us with our air carrier who lost our luggage. The noise. It is on a very busy main road, which was being re-paved at the time we stayed there. Ask for a room off the main road.
Nature, location, room price, breakfast..... drainpipe to sea, internet costs
The hotel is ideally situated about 15 mins walk from the town and commands beautiful views of the beach and cove below. As others have observed, the bedroom corridor needs new carpet which detracts from the otherwise quality feel of the hotel. The restaurant was disappointing but that wasn't really an issue as there is an excellent choice in the town.
helpful staff, spa restaurant didnt have half of dishes and vines mentioned in menu; beach is too small and not kids friendly, we had to walk to other beach

Hi,I spent 17 days in Spain ( 30July-16 Aug) with my wife and son (9). Booked Cala del Pi. We were really upset, becouse this hotel is pretty far from being 5* grade European hotels. There are several reasons: a. sound insulation is the worst I ve ever seen. You can hear everything is going on in rooms around your room, and also how the housekeeper cleans the upper room in 8-30 in the morning. b.
Near to Playa D'Aro and fronts directly onto the beach although difficult to access. Reception staff friendly and helpful. Breakfast staff the opposite. Good sized room with terrace and sea views. Luxury fittings throughout and unusually furnished and decorated but all quality. A good four star hotel but not quite a five. Fairly small bathroom for all the fittings provided. Expensive for dinner served in comparatively small restuarants. Hotel not geared for children which suited us. Bedrooms overlook terracing to bar and restuarant areas which could prove noisy in season.
The staff ~ friendly, helpful and professional. The hotel ~ Clean, fresh smart but cassual
The relaxed friendly atmosphere, spending the day in a bathrobe if you felt like it, great breakfast selection and beautiful views of the sea.
The hotel was just amazing, 5 stars in every respect. The spa was first class, the views from the pool were so nice, and the private beach cove was also really cool. The staff were extremely courteous and helpful. Overall, one of the best hotels we've ever stayed in, and it's unquestionably the spot to stay in Platja d'Aro if you're looking for something upscale. So what are you waiting for?!? Only slight negatives were there was some construction that blocked our ocean view from the balcony, and the a/c unit wasn't working properly so the room was hot and dry during the night (which probably would have been fixed if we'd noticed the problem before midnight).
due to a fire the week before the hotel was closed, for a few weeks booking . com should have know. It is a fabulous hotel otherwise the staff were amazing , we had the best ervice and the hotel all for ourselves , but of course no facilities that was the only reason we went to that hotelfor our wedding anniversary , we will be back next year definetly
the view of a construction site.
Wonderful breakfast, perfect rooms and service, always a pleasure to be there
There was one lovely man at the check in desk... Spent two days in summer without aircon. Reported to the staff four times without any result. The stench of breakfast made it inedible. The dining room was like a herd of cattle at feeding time. The pool was so crowded with screaming children we did our best to avoid it all times. Beach was overrun with package tourists. Have travelled through Europe for ten years and have never experienced anything like it. We were promised a reduced rate due to the aircon problem....but on check out noone seemed to be able to provide this....
It was quiet enough as I stayed here due to business. Communication was a problem as I don't speak spanish and staff engish was very limited. Food repetative, but if you were prepared to wait and queue for the duty chef to cook fresh it was good but still repetative.
We toured around the coast and eat out We would not recomond the breakfeast , we went across to the local bakery for ours.
Rooms fairly clean and comfortable. Food hot and varied. lots of French, Spanish Dutch & German guests so problems with noise. Packed lunches very poor. Floors in busy areas washed at busy morning period (dangerous). Car park charge extortionate and unneccesary.
we got moved here from another hotel that had decided to close for the winter, good food and nice staff. don,t think I would come in hight of season. a very small pool area for amount of rooms, could be busy..we will use again though as we have a house in france and like to visit spain for a few nights off season would have liked wifi in roms as well as public areas
Views from room were fantastic and location very good. Female bar staff were rude, very expensive for drinks.
the room, light & airey',and very clean airconditioning, plenty sun loungers, no etertainment,. bar to small.
beach, city, space around hotel and pool, food ... disproportion number of people and services/facilities, time cleaning rooms and incomplete change equipments in bathroom
Location right on the beach and close to main street of resort area Chaotic at meal times; not enough staff to clear tables. Also, terraced area outside restaurant should have been washed daily due to spillages.
The location was very good and the hotel was a good price for what it is.
the hotel wasn't ready to welcomed guests and it lacks manteinance
Everything. the staff was very polite and helpfull, the room and the food was good.
24 h service, friendly front desk staff
de sfeer erg gezellig de luxe van het all inclusive goede variatie in eten soms wat lauw maar smaak prima iedere avond entertainment geen klachten de familie kamer beetje klein maar om te slapen prima erg schoon
Reception staff were excellent and the location is good. The bar service was pathetic.
Very little, thanks to a change of Management and in particular a steep decline in food and drink standards. The Hotel has gone "all inclusive"....a major mistake. Restaurant facilities severely declined and no waiter service or decent wines available. Food vey poor.
Not a 4 star hotel.rooms are 2 star, rest of hotel is 3 star
The ease of having teenage boys be able to run around safely. The bar right when we walked into the lobby. The buffet eating (even though it wasn't very good). The food was not very good. My pillows smelled bad. Room key issues the whole stay. Every day we had to get all new keys because they stopped working. Some front desk personal very unhelpful. Hot water issues in showers some of the stay.
The room I was moved to was far better than that originally allocated When I complained about the room I was first put in [windows covered with bird muck, and unopenable], staff said that I was allocated that room because I had booked on the internet and
Just value for money... Very basic. Even if it fits the 4 star hotel requirements unfortunately you do not fell like staying in a 4 start hotel.
The landscape was fantastic, very clean paths and a lot of pine trees. Swimming pool and hydro-massage are very nice. Send beach is not faraway from the hotel. Location of the hotel is fine. Kitchen facilities should be replaced with the new one. Four star hotel should be able to provide fresh towels each day, rather then every third day. Managers should consider some change for the garage entrance, presently it is not easy to get card reader from the car.
Very good pool area, with sensible regulations and lifeguards offering security and hindering sunbed reservations. Very good standard and cleaning on the room. Very nice design both rooms and area. Very high maintenance The that is served in the outdoor restaurant was of a low quality and very poorly prepared. A restaurant that ou only will eat at once.
We were looked after as if we were family. A family member was taken ill and taken to hospital - the support I received was fantastic. It is all very well rate a hotel when everything is going well - the staff at Hotel Els Pins pulled out all the stops to help when I had a family crisis.
nice people and very close to the beach tha hardest bed ever...food not too good
I loved the friendly ambiance and the food. No
Staff were welcoming from the minute you stepped across the threshold. You really felt that you were on holiday, because they made you feel special.
Especially the location, that it was very close to the beach and the possibility to park the car at a garage. The time at breakfast, when time was up we had to go immediately.
very nice place, good breakfast, swimming pool, location is great, 30 seconds from the beach
The hotel is very close to the beach.
Travelled as a company of 4... we were given a "family" room for the same price. It had 2 bathrooms and 5 beds and the room itself was really big, unexpectedly big i can say! It also had a split air conditioning system with a seperate setups for each of the room. Hotel has great location (around 50-70 metres to the beach). Hotel was quite both at day and night. One of the bathrooms was too small (it was not that convenient as the result). It was especially uncomfortable for such a person like me, who is nearly 1.9m tall. Another point was TV set - it's too prehistoric, though it is really a minor flaw!
It was out of season so it was very quiet. The staff members were few but very helpful
The receptionist was very efficient, friendly and charming. Room was clean despite the decor being dated. Decor was a bit dated and patio door lock was broken.
Smart and clean and on the front with no noise at the time we were there Lack of information about the hotel,or restaurant,no menue dispayed for instance.
good quality hotel
The location of the hotel is perfect in Plaja d'Aro. The crew is kind. There is free wifi. The room is clean and the bathroom is confortable.
Second time here and was ideal for what we wanted, sea view rooms best as this hotel is located right on the beach. Easy walk to lots of shops and restaurants. It could do with a freshen up in general but rooms were very clean.
I have been living in this hotel for 15 times between 1970 and 1985 in our summer school holidays. Every year with my family with two children. We came here because of the nearness to the beach, the friends that came back every year and the extreme good relations to the former owner, Ramon Bertran. I organized many hotel tennis tournaments and everybody wanted to book in when the tennis event went on. We had yearly football games between the guests and the hotel staff. These events were promoted by Mr. Bertran. Finally we were something like a social community. Because of old memories I came back here in 1996 and now. I still like the place and I was very happy to see at least two of the old staff: Isidro and Carlos. Everything was fine and as expected.
The hotel has an excellent location with short distancde to the beach and the center of Platja d\Aro The hotel is badly maintained and rooms and all other installations are worn. It does not earn 4 star staus
great location, includes a nice breakfast the rooms could use some updating
The hotel has a very good location. The breakfirst was very poor. The hotel is in bad need of repiar and is very negleted a lacks parking
Peace & quite No
Huge room , on the beach. is impossible to find the address if you come with the car because the street is on the beachwalk and there is no way to find it with the GPS. we lost alf an hour to find it goin on the beachwalk by foot until we saw it then we have to find coming in the regular street with car. the make you pay the "rent" of the minibar, wich is empty, just the fridge, they want 5 €.
perfect location at seafront, 5 min from town center, quite and always cleaned up room, spacious accomodation, well done breakfast buffet extra pay for the small fridge (3EUR/day), reservation for parking didn't work
The view of the sea is breathtaking. Loved the room, very clean and comfortable. We fell asleep to the sound of the waves - a pure delight. Excellent value, with full breakfast included, couldn't ask for a better deal. Location is excellent, beach on one side and a short walk to town sports centre and bus station.
everything excellent accomadation for the price hotel new and modern very stylish the only slight negative was it was on the main road so a lot traffic noise at night but eveything else was 100% so it didnt matter
Everything was perfect! the location, the breakfast, the staff...I will come back!!
Easy to reach, close to the beaches and town centre, yet not in the thick of it either. Friendly staff, rooms are basic but clean and modern. Mattresses were a bit hard, didn't get as good a sleep as I could have.
The room was lovely, clean and fresh. The beds were very comfortable and the staff very friendly and helpful. Lovely breakfast in the morning.
Room comfort and facilities Noise coming from the street.
Exellent clean friendly hotel quiet just what we wanted Coffee machine didnt work 3 mornings at breakfast 1 morning milk was sour for ceriels some nights were noisy outside hotel very late
The hotel was very good. The town had everything. The local area was flat so walking was easy for the elderly. Nothing apart from the directions to the hotel were wrong. We downloaded them and entered into the g.p.s.and ended up in a residential area. You could say that it is next to the police station.
Lovely place..close to the sea they charged us in order to have my husband to bring breakfast for myself and our children back to our room...we were on holiday and it would be nice if we could relax without having to overpay.
excellent breakfast, shopping area close by check in at 3pm (late)
quiet place and next to shopping center. only 1 waiter is not friendly at all. The menu is in spanish language, i asked information and the waiter gor angry. No wi-fi in the room.
The Hotel was withing walking distance to the beach and shops. Hotel staff were helpful, even though they could learn a bit more english! But we managed to comunicate anyway. Overall, a nice small hotel.
The location and cleanliness The staff are untrained and unhelpful. They enter the room without knocking or checking if you are there. The breakfast uses food which looks like it is leftover from the previous day, the eggs were so hard and dry you couldnt eat them.
location and quality
room lovely clean and modern. No hot water, which lead us to being unable to use the fantastic bath and shower facilities provided, building work on going at hotel
Comfortable bed, private balcony. Good breakfast. Very small room.
The Breakfast, quiet and yet close to the sea and the Town Very few English TV Channels
We loved our stay at the NM Suites in Platja D'Aro. Very nice hotel. Very quite. Excellent with little kids. Two blocks from the beach. Very clean. Excellent breakfast. Unlike many other hotels with searched on the web, it turned out that small children (3 years old in our case), pay 60% of an adult to our surprise.
Design No Internet station but only wifi
AC not working at our arrival, finally did 25 hours later. Noisy construction works in and around the building. Helpful and nice receptionist who did her best to fix things.
Deck and pool great, family room was spacious.
The terrace for breakfast was very pleasant, the place is calm, the territory is nice, the balcony is big. bathroom with window the room was small, furniture was not comfortable (chair, fridge, wardrobe); the main question is that the room was sold at a price 115 euro pernight while the hotel price list at the reception stated 90 per night for a room. If booking.com do not charge any comisssion what was that?;) the breakfast was the same and very limited. Have to boil eggs by ourselves.
The hotel is very modern, clean and friendly. The pool area is very good with lots of Sun Beds and a good Bar/ Cafeteria Service. The Hotel was a good 20 minutes walk from the town centre. The Hotel is predominately used by the Spanish and French, very few British.
The swimming pool closed quite early at 8pm.
Very good position, nice area in heart of costa brava , fine design & acceptable breakfast. When we ask to change the room they due to noise they did it instantly. It could offer espresso coffee not of an automatic machine but manually for better quality. The problem was that is very noisy during the night due to cinemas & billiards that are opposite. Young people drinking in the street in front of the hotel at 3 - 6 am making noice but the hotel staff couldn't do anything.
Very noisy. It is impossible to open windows in the evening. Terrible breakfast. Poor disposition. Long way to the beach
The room was nice and convenient. I'ts a pitty that the spa facilities is not ready. The area is very good - food and enterteiments near the hotel. The fact that the hotel is "not ready" with all the facilities.
Er um, the beach nearby. This is badged as a 4 star hotel and was brand new at the time of our stay. I am not sure why it has 4 stars. We had a junior suite which was just an elongated room. Dirty balcony had 2 chairs no table. 4 days to fix bathroom light above mirror. Couldn't change e500 note. Didn't have any stamps. A pretender of a hotel. Minimalist, but at the expence of the things you need. We could not make a call from the hotel as the phone system was unable to meter the calls. They have wifi net access but no pc you can sit down and use. They couldn't provide an iron at all. No waste paper bin. Shabby finish to bathroom mirror. Pool has same paper on bottom daily. Nightclub next block closes at 5am and lots of noise. Staff couldn't really care about any shortcomings. No soul.
The hotel was decent for the price. When we checked in our room had very poor air conditioning so we went back to the reception and they immediately moved us to another room. The breakfast buffet was typical for an average hotel - a few cold cuts, bread and pastries, yogurts, eggs, sausage, etc... The bar/restaurant food was limited in choice and poor in quality - frozen pizzas, bland sandwiches, etc. Also, the room - while comfortable - was missing some warmth and made me feel like I'm back on my high school trips. I wouldn't really rate this hotel as a 4-star. Finally, there was only one English speaking channel on TV and it was a Japanese news channel in English.
Staff were helpful and friendly, even with our limited Spanish. It was clean, airy and the deck area and pool were never too crowded. The room was large and even with 3 of us there was plenty of space.
Quality of decor. Spotless, mould free bathroom. Friendly staff. No.
very pleasant environment
The staff were very friendly and helpful. The location was lovely with the large gardens, pool and sea views from the terraces. Breakfast buffet was very good. The fact that if you don't have a room with a pool view you are then looking out the back of the hotel to other buildings and a view of the hotel's solar panels, and have to suffer the noise from deliveries into the tradesmen's entrance.
Beautiful setting.Fantastic bathroom with jacuzzi bath and shower.Made our two dogs welcome. .Coffee machine confusing in the restaurant for breakfast and no help from staff.
The hotel has lush grounds with views of the sea, a big pool, and good access to the walking path around S'Agaro, which must be one of the most beautiful strolls in the world. They were also kind enough to store our bags and let us enjoy the use of the grounds after check-out time.
breakfast was excellent, also the bar and restaurant, and proximity to sea room was rather small
The location is great. Antique furniture which makes it all very romantic. Clean. The hotel is surrounded bu pine trees, a fontain at the entrance. The room was very modest for a 4 star, but the bathroom was new and clean. TV was vey small. The sunbeds around the pool are worn-out. Breakfast is limited to minimum necessary.
The Hotel S'Agaro is just across the street from the beach, so the location is wonderful! We could see the ocean from our room, and would have had even a better view, except for the beautiful huge trees in the garden and on the grounds that create an exclusive feel to the hotel. The breakfast buffet was the best I'd experienced in Spain. The maid was a sweetheart; so friendly and helpful. Even though she couldn't speak English she went above and beyond to help us out. We had a quaint little balcony, large enough for two chairs and a small table. The bathroom was quite large. There was only one computer available for patrons to use for internet access, and the internet was very, very slow the night I used it. The cost of using the internet was one euro for 10 minutes, which I thought quite high considering the slowness of the internet access there. I wanted to print my boarding pass for my flight home the next day, so there should have been a printer available, but there wasn't. The "standard double room" has only one double bed, and the room was quite tiny.
The restaurant was on the pricey side and parking a little difficult.
The location of the hotel The room was far too small and a bit noisy
The position The receptionist didn't ask for any confirmation document until after we had gone to our rooms. Then there was a demand for the number which unfortunately I had left at home. There was a suggestion that we would have to leave despite our names being registered and this caused a lot of stress. In addition because I thought that payment had already been made I was concerned that I would be charged double with the hassle of reclaiming. eventually agreeed that I would try and get in contact with associate. Spent a lot of time trying to get info requested from my e-mail account with no success. In morning we were advised that there would be no problem then when we checked out we were advised that we had to pay the bill because my original credit card had been used only to guarantee booking. There was a language difficulty but if the staff had explained that fact earlier it would have prevented a lot of stress especially to my wife and guests. I still don't undertand the importance of us having the confirmation number as the hotel had all the information from you and they copied our passports.
Enjoyed the hotel and staff. A great value for the price. Amazingly beautiful site. If you are fortunate enough to stay here you are fortunate. Spent days on the beach.
great location, good beach and services, cleanleness of the room, nice restaurant on the beach with fair prices if superior room with sea view was booked and paid it should not be facing the pool firstly and just a bit the sea itself secondly...Also, guests have to be at least informed / advised by the staff in advanve if any concert / entertainment near the pool is schedule during their stay. This action needs to prevent guests' complains of loud music till midnight and after. Or at least guests have to be asked upon check-in if they want to have quite room...
Beach / Seaside No a/c, No Refrigerator, room facitilities very old and inconvenient. Not worth for 4 star hotel
Hotel is situated sea front and pool area is excellent. Hotel is a little bit old but still can see it's beautiness.
View is simply amazing. The beach and pool are also very nice.
Nice location, beach, excellent views! Staff is 24h accessible, and can do help you. unfortunately, only cold breakfast (no fried eggs,porridge...), it is hard to get hairdryer.
Excellent buffet and service. Choice of beach or pool. Main road location - long check out queue
The views poor maintenance for the stars of the hotel
Amazing views, wonderful spa (and very helpful staff in the spa). Our room was in the beginning of the corridor and we were kept awake until five in the morning by everybody passing by - the doors are so thin you can hear every sound.
A very old sagging dame. The rooms were recently refurbished in a French country style, however the old tv sat on a black Ikea counter and totally destroyed the ambiance. The rooms are small with no air conditioning and you need it in August! The amenities were a bit better than the envelopes they some times give you, but just the basic. The common areas could be nice since there are a lot of nice pieces just very badly arranged. There are also too many plants full of dust. If they had only a few in good condition and in good shape it will be a lot nicer. There is so much potential but it is an old hotel and they always seem to be pretty full so I guess they have no incentive to clean their act or to be friendly. Expensive
Loved the scenary and the hotel's restaurant.
It is beautifully situated. The staff is attentive. The food is good. The view magnificent. The beds are only fair. New mattresses are in order.
The hotel is beautifully situated and that's about the extent of strong positives. Breakfast was good and public areas are attractive. The rooms are in need of a makeover, bed poor, pillow worse. Arrived to a bathroom with strong, long lingering odour after recent use even though it had been cleaned. No smoke detector in the room. Staff were indifferent to the guests.
Very pretty hotel, unusual location, perfect sea view from the window, very friendly and obliging staff. Close to the beaches and in walk distance to the city center and main activities.
very nice people, good location, good value for money
The restaurant was great with good breakfast and excellent lunch/dinner buffet. The apartment which it was on the ground floor had a lot of humidity and the curtains were very dirty.
One room cleaning in 10 days is not enough for "3 star" hotel
the food was very good. breakfast was almost the same every morning, but dinner buffet changed constantly. also a very nice swimming pool, in the center of the complex. The staff was friendly. Supermarket was ok, but could be a little cheaper. Quiet environment, even though the center is just 5 minutes walking. Cala del pi was magnificent! Good and quiet Samsung airconditioning in the room, also in restaurant. Half an hour from girona airport = 50 euros taxi. We were 4 friends of 18, but this hotel was excellent, certainly when you go in september and share an appartment of 2-4 people, you get a very good value for your money. We arrived at 9 in the morning and could enter our room immediatly. The only thing we were a bit dissapointed in, is the fact that we didn't get new shampoo and shower gel during our stay. Maybe we should have asked about it, but normally that's not the way it goes.
It was great to have have a kitchen & patio area unlike a hotel where you do not have these facilities.
if you only look for a place to sleep without any luxury and at a very good price, this is a very good place The walls are very thin and you can hear what's happening at your neighbours. When they are noisy, this become a problem.
location near the beach and coastal walk guests a bit noisy in the large centre courtyard late evening
The location -close to beach and city, kindly service-personel, Parking facilities, noisy guests and no control from staff
Suitable for overnight stop, which meet our requirements, or an extended stay It may be worthwhile looking at your route information,on how to locate hotel,as we did have some difficulty.
perfect self-catering apartment ,with daily buffet breakfast and daily maid service.the living/kitchen and bedroom had open views to pool area, surrounded by trees and also to the rising sun over the horizon
Good price/value rate. The beach only 50 meters, and the buffet breakfast was excellent. Staff don't speak english or french.
Very cozy hotel is full of pictures which create a unique atmosphere, friendly staff, proximity to the sea, good breakfast
Close to the beach (although not in front of it), private parking, very friendly staff, and the beach itself. Going to the left one can find a lot of small lagunas. Some people complain about the noise, but the noise is coming mainly from the bar of the French hotel nearby :) Did not bother us.
Friendly staff, nice and clean, close to shopping and beach. Good beds. None
A small hotel in a central position in the town and very close to the beach. The room was clean and comfortable with a single and a small double bed. Breakfast was reasonable with a range of cold food on offer but hot drinks were poor from a machine. If you wanted a decent cup of coffee you had to buy it. Wi-fi was available in the hotel reception area. Car parking was on the street and if you parked a couple of streets away, it was free. Overall, good value for money. Most hotels give you a small cover to go over the bedside mat. In this hotel however they didn't need to as there was no mat!
the location was excellent and if it had been a lot warmer we would have made much more use of the very large terrace
Friendly helpful staff. Very good value for money. Excellently situated for shopping and beach. This was our second visit, and if we return to Platja d'Aro, would certainly stay in Hotel Claramar.
Very serviceminded personnel which was very helpful as well as close to the beach makes this hotel to a good choice.
We were made very welcome and anything we wanted was provided without question. The staff could not have been better in their attitude, helpfullness or atentiveness.
Location near beach The quality of the servicies and facilities clasify the hotel as a 2 stars one. The lobby is better than the room.
It's position was ideal - right on beach. The outdoor bar and restaurant were good, midday meals, particularly salad lunches, were excellent. The views from the rooftop pool area were amazing, although pool small. The gym equipment was a surprising bonus but didn't adjust for women or smaller people. Reception staff very friendly. No ventilation in bathroom. Breakfast - a) fruit juices tasted like water with a splash of cordial, b)tinned fruit cocktail in syrup every day when soaked dried apricots or prunes would have cost no more and would have been a healthier alternative. Overall, for a 2* hotel this was very good, but as I think the hotel rates were more equivalent to 3* in UK, I would say value was only fair.
Good location and good services for a 2* hotel. There was nothing negative about the hotel itself but there was some noise at night from the some of other guests.
The Hotel was very clean and nice with helpful staff. The breakfast, lunch and dinner was fresh and delicious. No bad points.
Extremely friendly and helpful staff. Fantastic location right on the beach. Good food. Shame our shower was so feeble!
Greatl location; next to the beach, and close to restaurants and shops; parking can be arranged for a daily charge; quiet and clean room; pleasant and efficient reception; good breakfast; good value for the money.
A good small hotel, staff where always to hand and very helpful
Food was poor.
Being on the beach but disappointed that everthing was an addition cost. There where no towels provided at pool side, pool is small but nice on the rooftop. WIFI was impossible to get, there where small hotspots but even by the hotel computers could not access internet.
Friendly Staff, Great position, good value. Half Board dinner main course not very appetising
Location is just on the beach and very convenient to go for a swim or to the restaurants. Found that on the roof a small fitness room and a small pool is available as well. breakfast is OK. 5 min walking distance is a free parking in case that the hotel parking doesn't have places. Be aware to remove your car on Friday's from the free parking. We haven't been told at the hotel and our car was removed by the local police- 100 euro fine! Hotel is clean but not excellent. Over night people comming back from restaurants start making noise and also cleaning street is noisy over the night.
