Updated modern rooms. Great showers. Great location, lots of local restaurants and bars. Fast free WiFi. No free breakfast but there is a small Starbucks in lobby. Wish it was open all day not just mornings. Couldn't connect laptop to TV connections hidden.
I liked the proximity to the River and the view from the room. Staff was nice and no serious problems. I don't like the room2room doors. And the $7 per day self parking fee.
When we first arrived, we were give rooms (we booked two rooms- one for us and one for another couple) in the Marriott Suites Hotel. My booking said that we each had King Suites. i had actually called the hotel directly and spoke with the Manager, Bryce, who confirmed those facts. However, our room was 2 Queen beds and the other couple's room was not a suite. I called down to the desk to see if a king room was available and Bryce answered. He said that we could certainly have a king room, but in the main hotel, not the Marriott Suites. He then mentioned that the hotel rooms had just been renovated. Both of us moved and the rooms were beautiful and much nicer that the Marriott Suites room. Those rooms were dated and worn. The hotel rooms were new and very, very nice. Bryce took care of us easily and efficiently. Great Riverwalk.
Hotel employee from hospitality, she has great customer service & hospitality skills. The staff could all take a lessons from her. She prayed for my God-son when I had to call the paramedics because of the dust and fumes it caused his bronchitis The room had trash in it, the carpet was a mess, ice machine didn't work.Customer service sucked. I waited 10 min. for the front desk clerk to finish a personal call to ask for late checkout, because I had to get to the ER & she said NO.call me

Staff No. Very good pleasant stay.
Room was quiet and clean.
Comfortable stay and convenient for our needs.
Location: Right off the Interstate for easy on easy off. Great for an overnight stay.
Even though I wasn't able to take advantage of the Manager's reception, I thought it was a very nice thing for the hotel to do.
Breakfasts are very good. Hotel employee makes a great breakfast on weekends. Clean well kept rooms.

Check in/Check out process was fast and efficient

Pleasant and helpful staff Spaciousness Microwave and frig Comfortable lobby and breakfast area 24-hr coffee/tea/water No towel bars No grab bar in tub - could prevent accidents No full length mirror Would like more choices at breakfast Prefer larger napkins at breakfast No shower caps
Loved the secluded location, close to everything, front desk great, room spacious. One of the better hotels in Augusta GA. Will be staying here next visit N/a
Next to hwy...can hear all the cars and trucks. Horrible choice.
Aesthetic was pleasant Beds were comfortable Hotel was clean Breakfast was tasty and plentiful
Clean. Spacious. Friendly staff. Affordable. Great location. Would stay again and recommend. I liked everything.
The bed was so comfortable and the toiletries provided were a nice luxurious brand. Not enough breakfast options.
The bed was amazingly comfortable. The shower made you feel relaxed. Staff was available and helpful. Friendly!! Clean inside and overall comfy
The room was very clean and the hotel was roo The bed wasnt comfortable like the last time we stayed. The shower didn't even feel like last time. Would go back for the same room we liked before
comfortable bed cooling/fan system, room never cooled down until we checked out in the am. front desk clerk was rude, unfriendly, i asked him questions , he never answered, all he did was point or look down, ignoring me. hot water in shower was pitiful, too cold to shower. stains everywhere in the hallways, no signs indicating locations for ice machine, soft drinks.
Full breakfast, pool, great price Unattended kids
Staff very nice, very convenient location, comfortable bed, lots of TV channels, decent size room The maids NEVER cleaned our room. We had to go downstairs and ask for fresh towels everyday -- there was no phone in the room to call the desk. Our mini fridge did not work. After the first night, there was NO hot water. The free breakfast was cheap & pretty terrible. But worth the cheap rate in my opinion.
Friendly staff The new bar renovation is awful.
Beautifully decorated, comfortable. Friendly staff. N/a
Nothing I was double booked and moved to a hotel ten miles away. They completely dropped the ball. This happened to several other people at the same time. Their booking system is terrible.
It's newly remodeled. The lobby and common spaces are nice. The gym and restaurant are currently under construction but look promising. The location is good and it's a nice historic building. Minutes from anything in Augusta. My room was very, very small and the hallway light shone into my room through the door jam at night through a crack about 1cm wide.
Going back to spend more time at the hotel! Loved the hotel and the staff was beyond words! Very pleased with the stay! Parking
Very charming place. Although the hotel has been updated the person in charge has done a very poor job thus far. Things like towel rakes have not been installed.

The staff. Rooms were dark and not very well appointed.
Everything!!!! Awesome!!! Relaxing getaway!!! Elegant! The pool..the gym/exercise room great!! I plan to always book this place when I go to GA! N/A
We were located on the 4TH floor and could hear the hotel guests walking above us in their room wach time they moved across the floor. Yes, that we could hear walking at all times of day and night above us.
Location, friendly staff, good food. I thought the AC in my room was a bit loud, but other than that, no.
Hotel was nice and staff was excellent The fact that they didn't serve a complimentary breakfast and the the outrageous price that the hotel restaurant was charging for breakfast was a absolute turn off...
the staff was very friendly the room clean and close to many places to eat the outdoor pool was a bit small the water getting out look clean
It was nice that the 5th floor had its very own complimentary breakfast Although I had reservations, when I arrived for my checkout time, and the desk clerk asked me which floor I would like to stay on...they didn't have any rooms readily available on that floor. So I had to wait...so I told her that I would stay on the 5th floor which was a $30 more charge...they decided to charge me with only $15 instead of the $30. Although I personally think there shouldn't be any charge due to no rooms being readily available when I arrived for check-in.
Everything was good. They even let me change room because of the bed.
The beds were very comfortable, the staff was friendly and helpful. They keep the grounds maintained. Wish it was warmer during our stay--would have loved to use the beautiful pool! They should sweep the hallways once in a while.
Extremely positive experience. Initial impression upon arrival was "Oh, great, this is going to be a dump. It was the older type hotel, where all the rooms open to the outside. HOWEVER, I was more than pleasently surprised. The place was really pretty nice. Staff was friendly and helpful, it was very, very clean and very well maintained. My room was a touch on the small side, but don't take that to be a complaint at all, it was well worth what I paid for it. This was a thoroughly positive experience from start to finish. Housekeeping and maintenance seemed to be constantly working; in fact, I don't know that I've ever seen a hotel staff working like these folks. They were constantly cleaning up and we couldn't even tell that there was anything to clean. I'll be returning there the next time I have to stay in the Augusta area.
Location No towels in room Rude staff Dirty sheets Small square pillows Just never stay here...
Most if the staff was friendly and tried to make everything right, it was quite. Bed was comfortable. Jacuzzi tub, We found drugs, drug paraphernalia, and other items in the drawers in our first room. The office moved us to a different room with a broken ac, third room was the charm, we called the sherif to come get the stuff, they never showed up, the office staff said they would have a discussion with the cleaning staff.
The price and location are the reasons we stayed here and that was nice. We were going to be there for less than 24 hrs and it was an ideal place for that. The place did smell a little and there were some stains on the top blanket and the bathroom door was broken.
There were roaches every morning I turned the lights on smh
location price entry via outside door
Every time I'm in Augusta Ga. I Stay at West bank Inn and I've Never had an issue. It's convenient, clean, the Staff are very nice and they always accommodate my needs. They have good prices and close to good restaurants. I stayed twice this past weekend and that's where I will always stay when I'm in town!!
It was a great place with a great location and friendly staff. The only downside was the sketchy tenants. Just after pulling in, we were approached by a shirtless man asking for a cigarette. Then as we were unloading, a couple asked us for money. I didn't expect that, considering how nice and kept up the place was. Other than that, we enjoyed our stay.
The room was very clean, and the area was very acceptable. Conveniently located to restaurants and shops. Bathroom smelled of mildew. Also one of my shower towels was dirty with a brown stain on it.
Bar and restaurant in hotel. Cookies baked in lobby, breakfast to go. Rooms just okay, very small bathroom where door almost hit toilet.
The only God part of my stay was the friendly staff. The tub was gross and our bathroom flooded in the middle of the night. We moved to another room to have the bathroom sinks leak all over the floor. What was supposed to be a romantic night turned into a nightmare.
New! Had a issue needed little more time to check out cause I got sick staff treated me as if I were a major issue and didn't accommodate me but accommodated another family.
This place is CLEAN and very well managed. The ambiance of the room decor is real deal. Hotel smells FRESH and CLEAN nothing
The front desk clerk was extremely helpful and kind and pleasant! The hours in which breakfast is available.
Spotless and great breakfast No complaints at all
I was very clean and the staff was very nice
Staff was extremely polite. Room was super clean. Breakfast. Poor selection.
The location was outstanding with easy interstate access and easy access to both downtown and uptown. Breakfast not only had the usual fare but a waffle maker as well as biscuits and gravy. Even though I was in a single there was plenty of space for me to scatter all of my belongings about the room. The manager, whose name I believe is Sadia, was super nice and was extremely accommodating to me personally. That definitely got my stay started on the right foot and she helped me out with no hesitations twice more during my stay. I had the room directly beside the exit door. Ten cable channels. TEN. I understand that I was in the least expensive room on the premises but come on. Also the TV could have been a little nicer to help me feel at home.
Location Too many young Afro-American males "hanging" or socializing in lobby, halls, and outside the lobby door. The smell of cannibas also in lobby.
The room was comfortable and the bed's length accommodated our needs - we need length and width. AC in room, controlled by me Ice, coffee and wifi are free The motel is good for a short stay and for those on a very low budget I also liked the close proximity to the restaurants I wanted to dine at Puckering carpet in need of replacement, litter, humid lobby, elevator and hallway
Great for price. Great location. Professional & courteous. Noise level among guests
The room was actually nice and clean & the staff was very nice It was a odor in the room & the bathrooms wasn't all that , need to cleaned & remodeled
TV didn"t work the whole stay, hotel staff unresponsive. Breakfast was not worth getting up for.
The Inn was pleasant and the staff was very friendly and very helpful. The room was comfortable and clean. The complimentary breakfast was good with a nice variety. I would recommend this inn.
King size bed, kitchen sink, apartment sized refrigerator Smelled heavily of smoke masked with even more potpourri. My eyes were so swollen the next morning and my asthma was upset. Was supposed to be a non-smoking hotel. Also, breakfast was cold cereal and frozen pastries. Benefit that cracker barrel was next door.
I like the fact the they were always cleaning and the room smelled great with nonasty odors and the mexican resturaunt down stairs was pretty good. Itd also ckose to many resturants and not too far from the Augusta mall. Will stay again I did not like the fact that our original room tub and sink became stopped up however they moved us to another room without any hassle and that room was good as well but the breakfast sucks so you will have to buy breakfast somewhere
Barely anything but I loved the housekeepers! They're so sweet! Location, front office staff, tv, cleanliness, and bathroom. All dirty.
This is a basic budget hotel experience,. People were friendly. The room was clean. It was a quiet night. For traveling, it has a great location -- right off the interstate, walking distance from Cracker Barrel, five-minute drive (or less) from a half-dozen other eating places. I think the price I paid for the stay was fair. I had trouble accessing the free wi-fi, which had a weakish signal. The pillows had reached their life-expectancy limit. One lamp was missing a light bulb. The free breakfast was so-so.
Convient and good price
Loved the bed and the cleanliness of the Hotel! The staff was very friendly and nice! Just professional! The wifi didn't work and I was disappointed. The breakfast bar was not up to par.
Stayed here with my wife and teenage daughter. We had a very specific location need - for that, this hotel was ideal. Price was OK, not great. There were amenities we did not try due to the nature of our stay (free breakfast, premium TV channels, WiFi, etc). The "double beds" were more like twins. There was a light that could not be turned off...a "safety" feature, I presume? Having a virtual in-room sun in our eyes was not the best environment for sleeping. Multiple requests for towels were never satisfied...I finally got them for myself. Complimentary coffee in the lobby was good. We didn't try the breakfast.
We were pleased with the cleanliness of the hotel. The staff was also very accommodating. The shortage of towels was quickly rectified. A substantial breakfast with enough items for us to choose from. We unknowingly left an overnight bag at the entrance when we left. We didn't discover the mistake until the next day. We called right away and were relieved to find they had discovered our bag & had it waiting for us, intact with our name on it when we returned. There was only 1 hand towel & 2 washcloths in our room, and the toilet rocked, it was not securely mounted. It was hard to find from the highway and there were no restaurants close by, but we will definitely go back there next time we pass through Agusta.
Breakfast The air didn't work
We came in town for a family emergency. This hotel was quiet and clean. Wifi worked well and staff was very hospitable. Would definitely stay there again.
This property was recently renovated and is in great shape. The staff from check in to check out was friendly, attentive, polite and efficient. The room was OK, clean, and offers a wet bar for longer term guests. The bed was comfortable although the pillows a little soft for my taste. The real surprise was the towels. Although they are stand motel towels, the laundry staff takes great pride in their work, and the towels have a hint of a pleasant smell, and just say, "I care". I will stay at this property again.
The hotel kicked my friend out of my room and locked me out I called prior to this and requested a late check oiut and was told that it was alright if I did a late check out. when i arrived at about 12:30pm the police had been called and I left The hotel robbed me of my entire personal belongings. I have an email from the manager only because I could not reach him
Very near the hospital which is why we chose it. The only thing was the price the 2nd night was higher than the first night, which was disappointing. However; we would stay there again in the future. The girl at the front desk was very nice and helpful. Only the difference in price for the second night
It met my needs in terms of location Not especially clean. Hair in the bathroom. Funky smell Two beds only one blanket Coffee packs but no coffee maker A/c made intermittent noises
Good location. Very good breakfast. Bathtub drain plugged by hair ball. Mildewed shower curtain. Phone was disabled for calling from room, had to get manager to come to room to fix. Room stank of cigarette smoke. Building was generally run down overall.
Staff was very friendly. Great breakfast and a great hostess.
Staff responsiveness Room cleanliness, roaches
Besides the short drive to the waterfront, not much Felt run down. Room wasn't great, stained pillows, cigarette holes in covers (despite being non-smoking room) and generally dilapidated. Very average breakfast.
It is conveniently located and clean.
Hotel is good
The location First - the rooms completely wreaked of smoke. So much so that we took our clothes out of them during the day. Cigarette burn holes in bedspread. Awful. And there was completely annoying, cheesy DJ in the lobby each night. Most unprofessional.
The staff was very nice, The smoke scent in the classroom.
The staff receptionist and breakfast lady and breakfast food was very good. The room smelled like mildew, there were cigarette burns on the dresser, and round circles on the dresser where someone had left a glass.
The atmosphere was great. The aroma from the entrance and throughout the actual suite was delightful and fresh. Loved having the whirlpool next to the bed. And the bed was truly relaxing Wish there was a free continental breakfast
I much prefer the Hilton Garden Inn chain to Hampton, and all other hotels in that price range. I like the decor, restaurant, towels and sheets, the openness of the lobbies, and they are usually newer than the Hamptons. The beds are adjustable air mattresses. If I. Go to bed tired, I invariably wake up in the middle of the night and have to change the setting.
