Pros: Wonderful hosts. Very welcoming and happy to phone thro a v late restaurant booking on a v busy Saturday night which my level of French would have found challenging. Lovely room huge space for 3 of us with balcony to watch sun go down. Excellent early breakfast. Our hosts were accommodating for all our needs. Supplied milk for “English” tea and were very good at English in general. We even got a forecast of the state of the channel for our crossing in the morning. Highly recommended.
Cons: Nothing.

10.0 Excellent
Pros: This was a fantastic small B&B about 5 minutes by car from the villages of Cleder and Plouescat. It is set in wooded grounds and has an ajoining plant nursery. We had the largest of the 4 bedrooms with the balcony. It was so comfortable and pleasant to just sit on the balcony in the evenings with a glass of wine! Nothing was too much trouble and breakfast was very nice. We hope to use this again and will be recommending it to our friends.

Plenty of parking space. Shops and bank in nearby village centre. Excellent restaurant “la table de Keryann” near the Chateau de Kerjean about 5 miles away.
Cons: A mirror should be provided in the bedroom as hairdryers in the bathroom should be discouraged due to location of power outlets above trough washbasin.

Pros: The restaurant was outstanding. Both the food and service were of the very highest standard.

Les cabanes de Kermenguy - Cléder - Building
7
9.1 Excellent (35 reviews)
4.5 Okay
Pros: Owners very pleasant and helpful
Cons: We thought it was overpriced and overrated for the facilities. There was no power, and the washing/toilet facilities were very basic.
9.3 Excellent
Pros: ok this place is different that i will not lie about, our cabin was super and good fun but the toilet was something else lol. We walked the grounds and saw all the rest of the accomodation and feel made a good choice for our type of travel needs. The shower was nice and hot but a fair trek from the cabin, breakfast was ample in size and delivered by hand to the cabin fresh in the morning, we had a very early departure and were given breakfast late in the evening because we would be leaving before normal breakfast time.
Cons: it did not worry me as i have camped all my life on and off but the toilet situation and having to change your bag in the morning and put it in a bucket would not be everyones cup of tea,
9.3 Excellent
Pros: Such an original place. No two accomodations the same. Delightful tree-houses! A copious breakfast delivered in a basket to our tent in the morning, flasks of coffee, hot milk, hot chocolate, along with fresh baguettes, pains au chocolat and croissant. Set us up for the day. All on the grounds of an ancient château full of charm and forest walks. Loved it!
Cons: While water, a towel, toilet paper etc were provided, it would have been good to have running water to wash hands etc. Didn't see any shower facilities but we stayed just one night so it didn't affect us too much.

Cons: the racist stares due to my hijab and burkini
7.0 Good
Pros: Room was spacious. Storage for our bikes under cover. Check in lady (Anna) very good. Restaurant food very good.
Cons: I thought the breakfast particularly disappointing, the only fruit was some apples that looked old, no crepes, no bacon & scrambed eggs, very limited choice meats and cheeses, the egg cooker water was cold, jam selection poor, the cappuccino we bought the day before at the bar was terrible, you couldn't even taste coffee. it would have been the worst breakfast we have had in all Brittany and the most expensive. Cleanliness of upstairs corridors not good. Some staff very good, some poor.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Delicious food, amazing location, very clean, such nice staff /owner. Loved the sound of the waves in the room (with the window open) . You can walk out, go for a swim and then walk back in straight to the sauna and jacuzzi. What a location right on the beach! I was also very happy with the layout of the room, the bed facing the ocean directly. Huge terrace. Jacuzzi bath tub. Two head shower. The whole stay was magic.
Cons: Dinner lighting was strong, too bright for such a nice meal.

Cons: Nothing to dislike

10.0 Excellent
Pros: Modern bathroom, very comfortable bed
5.5 Okay
Pros: Location - on the coast!
Cons: Minimum service at maximum cost! Would not return to stay, only for having a glass of beer or an espresso to enjoy on the cliff near the hotel.

7.5 Good
Pros: Dinners and breakfasts were very good, hotel owner is very helpful, informative and friendly. Room was comfortable and clean. Pool was pleasant to splash around in.
Cons: All was well until check out when a very unfriendly checkout reception man (not the owner who was away on business) informed us that full payment for the room had been taken from Visa. This was not authorized at the time of booking as it was to secure the booking only. The checkout man was informed of this and that we wished to pay with pre-paid Travel Card (thereby not incurring credit card costs). He was very dismissive and when requested to reimburse the Visa so we could pay the full amount by TC just shrugged and refused the request. I am sure that the owner would have sorted it out satisfactorily, however we were left with the additional Visa costs and with a very poor opinion of this hotel management. We had stayed at 5 other hotels on this trip and all others did not treat us in this fashion.

Cons: There was nothing open in the local area. This was probably because we were at the end of the season. However, the nearest place to eat in the evening was some distance away (which would have been fine if we'd been travelling by car).
