We used to come here every year when they first opened. Then it fell in disrepair. We kept reading the reviews and about a year and a half ago, we read that the new owners were working hard to restore the inn to its former glory. Their hard work shows!
The new carpet is out of character with the inn, but it is a nice quality.
The staff was great!
Conveniently located next to the main roads and just minutes away from several attractions. The location was very nice and woodsy and quiet.
Very strong musty/cigarette smell upon entering the room. Not the cleanest as we found a spider on the curtains and in the bathroom. Breakfast was rather small (but maybe it was due to the pandemic).
The owner was always around and the staff was so helpful
The atmosphere and the staff was great. Loved how nostalgic the hotel was, felt like a step back into my childhood.
The refrigerator did not work. The cleanliness needed a little more attention to detail, but overall was a nice place to stay.
