Quiet secluded setting. It had the Cozy Cottage feel. Beautiful Woodland setting. Clean rooms friendly staff.
They didn't put very much out for their breakfast. Some things are dated such as wood on balconies.
Rooms smelt like smoke, very dirty, spiders in the the bathtubs and ceilings. TV's did not work. The hotel staff did not know how to fix the TV so they kept switching rooms.I paid for a KING ROOM for a KING BED, ended up in a 2queen room. Beds uncomfortable
DO NOT STAY HERE. IT IS HAUNTED WITH VERY EVIL GHOSTS. I WAS HELD DOWN BY 3 OF THEM. THIS WAS AT 3:18 am. I PACKED MY STUFF AND LEFT. THE OWNER REFUSED TO CALL ME BACK. DO NOT STAY HERE.
Nice big room .
Staff was super rude. Asked them to heat pool was told it was at the right temp. She checked it and it was even on! Key cards stopped working after check in. 5 cards later and nothing still works. Breakfast was a waffle maker. Don't stay at this hotel!!!!
I liked how affordable it was and how we still received friendly service and nice rooms.
I wish that breakfast went longer on Saturdays. We like to sleep in on Saturdays and breakfast ended at 10.
The location, size, and overall style is great, and unique.
The guy we checked in with was terribly abrupt and unfriendly. We checked in at 3am, and the late time might have been the issue. Also, it would have been really nice to have some sort of fresh, healthier food for breakfast. Fruit maybe?
The staff present for checking was pleasant otherwise the best thing about this hotel was leaving it .
The hotel room was outdated, Dungy and dirty. The bathroom was more like a bathroom you would expect at a bad gas station. The staff upon checkout was rude and unfriendly. The bad appeared to of been overused and slept iin. this hotel is not a three *.
Very charming. After-sitting on the edge of the pool for awhile it was warm enough to get in and was not cold (simple trick). Makes exercising in the pool enjoyable verses taking a bath the room had a bath. Sauna was nice, breakfast was the real deal!
The pressure for shower was weak. Water was hot though.
I like the overall charm of the building and location to dunes. We did stay off season on a Monday night and I loved that there were very few guests there.
I walked through the lower level hallway which had a very strong smell of cigarette smoke. Not sure if the smell was so strong it stayed on my clothes but I swear the smell made its way to our room later in the evening. The pool needs some updating.
The location was awesome. Down a quiet road, surrounded by beautiful trees and a river. Very quiet. The hotel was very pretty, cozy and comfortable. Clean and spacious room. The balcony was wonderful.
Our bathroom door didn't want to latch shut. We didn't mind but some people might. It stayed shut, but just wouldn't latch or lock. Our key cards kept deactivating so that we had to have new key cards reissued 3 times. No big deal, but inconvenient.
Called and asked if they have HBO. Said yes. They didn't have it. Gave me a keys to a room with a broken door lock, after I struggled with that for 15 mins. I came back to the front desk and they offered to have me let in by them personally using a master
