Free parking It's 2016, people-- you can't charge for wifi!! I'm not talking about those upgrades they normally try to sell you-- even basic internet was $12 a day.

From the moment I walked in I was blown away by the design and look of the lobby. (Though parking was somewhat confusing as there was a lack of signage), I was immediately taken under the front desk attendant's wing as he greeted me warmly and started up a bit of small talk instead of just business. This was much appreciated as I had been in the car alone for about five hours and welcomed a friendly conversation. He was extremely helpful, friendly and welcoming. His directions were clear. As I entered my room on the sixth floor, I was astonished at where I was staying for what I paid. It was beautiful. The bed was unbelievably comfortable, the set up of the room had a positive flow and made sense. It was spacious, a perfect temperature upon arrival and far exceeded my needs for the one night stay. At around 9PM I ordered room service from the hotel restaurant (after the front desk attendant had made a very convincing pitch). When my burger, fries and soda arrived, it arrived in a neatly packaged bag/box lunch-like contraption. No carts, no dishes, no fuss. The food was AMAZING. For the price of room service, I usually steer clear as the food is often soggy, small portions and bland by the time it gets to your room. Not here! Delicious! Locally sourced ingredients, very fair price and the most creative packaging I have ever seen come out of a room service. I am very much looking forward to my next business trip in Bethesda! Ha! I liked it all!
Staff was very attentive, easy free shuttle to nearby Metro stop, quiet clean room with comfortable beds! Bethesda city center offers lots of restaurants.
We traveled a LONG 10hrs overnight, arrived at 8a. I thought I was going to have to either beg or pay to be able to check in early. Got there and without a problem at all, we got a room. The curtains were dark and the beds were glorious! We only stayed one night, then carried on another day of travel, arrived at our next hotel and what a difference.. Cute little town and very easy to get into DC. We ate at the restaurant.. Very over priced and not that good.
I like the location and the facility. Great stace and amenities. The bathroom door was a sliding bathroom door. The door had several opens that potentially invaded the privacy of other members that stayed with me. The door did not block any indoor bathroom sound.

One of the elevators was out of order and we had to either walk a very long distance to use the other or use the stairs. The breakfast area was very small and if more than about 6 people were in there we felt like we were invading into their personal space.
The location was excellent and we got a great deal. Sadly the deal was most likely because the hotel was under construction, which we didnt know before we booked. There was a ton of noise early in the morning and a lot of construction-related dust. My whole family and I ended up with allergy-related respiratory issues due to the dust. Also, my mother who was traveling with us, left her diabetes insulin pen behind accidentally. The hotel staff was largely unhelpful in trying to find it.

When we pulled into the hotel it was a windy and snowy day.. I've stayed at this hotel before so I waited several minutes for the valet to come out.. Or at the very least a bellman to help me. Neither of which happened. Was told that I could park in the garage and then take the elevator up and out to hotel. Even the parking garage was a DISASTER from all the construction. I then had to pay for parking, and I didn't have to when I stayed a year prior. There was also a miscellaneous $40 charge ion my CC from hyatt. This was in addition to the $50 hold they usually put on a CC. Not ONE person could tell me what it was from since nothing from the room had been charged. While the room itself was nicely renovated I wouldn't stay here again. Extremely disappointed
Very nice room and facilities, great location, friendly staff, certainly would return. One complaint is that the room was overheated at night and no apparent way to lower the thermostat. The last night seemed a bit better for some reason. Also there was a dust rag left in the bathroom one day, and the area around the TV, inside the cabinet was quite dusty. See above.
Attention to needs of customer. Great location for our purposes. Clean rooms. Building interior design funnels noise from lobby area up , making it a little noisy if you need to get an early rest. If you go to bed late, it's not a problem.
The bathroom was not equal to Hyatt standards. No consistency in towels provided. The plumbing was repaired when it needed to be replaced.
Beautiful building. I spent some time photographing it. Efficient, helpful staff. Good location near Metro, for DC access, and nearby support facilities such as restaurants. One major point for me: ugly, inconsistent lighting. The building's lighting was very mixed, and thoughtless--or at least it has grown to that. Perhaps it was designed well 20 years ago, but now it has a wide mix of lights, from florescent to LED, and, more importantly, a wide, jarring mix of color temperatures, that convey among other things, cheapness. I suggest you hire a lighting engineer to analyze the facility and generally change all the lights to 3000 degree or warmer LED lighting. This is especially important in the rooms. Your clients will (without knowing why) then feel that they are in a luxurious facility. At this moment, it could be any cheap, roadside motel, if judged by the lighting.
I was very disappointed that breakfast was not included with the price of the room. I did not realize this until I went to take something to eat and was told that I had to pay I have stayed in many, many less expensive hotels and in ALL of them there was a free breakfast including fruit, breads, eggs, coffee/tea etc. I was not happy about this situation,at all. I will consider staying in other hotels from now on.

Great location (on top of the metro station and a short ride to DC), and good price for that location. The gym was satisfactory, and I didn't get to use the pool but heard good things. I thought I was getting a steal at the price I paid. Turns out I only got the discount because the whole place was under construction (right outside my door). It didn't bother me as I was gone during the days, but a heads up would've been appreciated.

I liked the location, the staff was very friendly, and the complimentary water. We had issues with our air conditioning which we told the staff about but nothing was fixed and our room was muggy and damp.
Rooms were very clean. Beds were comfortable. Very nice outdoor pool with plenty of lounge chairs, an outdoor bar and poolside table for eating. Parking at the hotel was perfect. Bathroom was slightly small but very clean.

The hotel staff was great and I liked that they had parking. The room was nice & location was great. Everything about the hotel was great. One of the reasons I liked it was because it was smoke-free however, the room smelt of smoke the last night we stayed and even again in the early morning before we checked out. Not the hotels fault, was just disappointing.
The hotel staff were excellent and very helpful with restaurant suggestions and transportation. The room smelled very bad; like a mixture of body odor, Old Spice, and onions. I left the window open all day and it didn't improve.

From the moment we stepped out of our rental car the hotel staff was friendly, courteous, and helpful. We had just come in to DC from two days of flying and driving and right away the hotel staff made us feel right at home. They carried our bags, helped us with transportation in DC by pointing us in the right direction, and even gave us apples on our way out for the day. We had never been to DC and have 2 small children and did all the sight seeing we could pack in for 2 days. The location of the hotel was great. One night the weather was great and we all enjoyed the walk through the city back and forth from the Washington Monument. It is quite the walk, so if you are not up for it we also took a cab and used Lyft in which every place only cost about 10.00 to get a ride to and from the hotel. I also feel compelled to mention that maybe it was the look on our faces when we stepped out of our car after the long traveling experince with 2 small kids, but whatever it was they upgraded our room to a balcony! I think her name was Elena that offered the upgrade, and it was very much appreciated!
Easy access to Metro, White Hose, Mall, etc. IF you are a walker. Very welcoming,professional and responsive staff. They were happy to change rooms to 2 beds when my son flew in from CA. Great catering staff and food. Clean and comfortable. A little dated and can be very expensive. My on-line rate with tax etc. was a reasonable $180. When I tried to add 1 night, they wanted $479! Needless to say, we went somewhere else.

Location was excellent, most staff was nice and helpful. If you wanted Wifi, you had to pay extra. Channels on the television had horrible reception 9/10 times. One bellhop was incredibly rude when I asked to use a luggage cart, that were kept in their storage room at the moment, as I had multiple heavy bags to load in my car. Parking was outrageous per day ($60). This parking fee was also not included on Kayak or Pricline.

Excellent location for much of downtown DC. Around Midnight my room filled with old cigarette smoke as someone began smoking in the stairwell. The air quality overall in my particular room was poor, requiring the windows to be opened as much as possible. This of course made it difficult to sleep as the city sounds in DC near The White House are loud and replete with sirens 24/seven. Normally, one might cover one's ears to have silence. However, at this hotel the pillows are the size for small children.

Friendly, attentive staff. Clean rooms and facilities. Location is within walking distance of many places to eat and a short ride from the national mall. Would stay again. Very cold lobby/restaurant/bar area. Thermostat in room kept malfunctioning. The maintenance guy brought us a space heater at one point. Requested shampoo at one point and three different staff people delivered some three separate times. Very friendly, but obviously some lack of communication. Staff was very apologetic about the thermostat and offered us a variety of comps.
The hotel was very nice and extremely close to all the sites (just blocks from the White House). The room, service, and location were far above what I would expect for the price. Would stay here again and will recommend to anyone visiting the DC area.
Friendly helpful staff in downtown DC. The air conditioning in the room wasn't very good. It didn't feel like it dropped below 70F while set to 60F in November.
I did not like the fact I had to pay valet for parking or find my own. I feel if I m paying for the comfort of staying out of town then that is something that should be included.
Room was very nice and clean, very comfortable. Staff were very helpful. However, parking in the garage was VERY expensive- $43 for one night. I sucked it up and paid it. I prepaid for the room for Kayak, so it wasn't a big deal. I saw that they had put a $50 hold on my card as well. After I left, they charged my card the $43 for the parking and released the $50 hold, but one week later, I still have a $43 hold for the parking on my card. After contacting the hotel, leaving messages for billing, the garage, and all types of people, I finally got through to Hilton Guest assurance who contacted management for me. The management's response was that this was standard practice and to take it up with the credit card company. The credit card company cannot do anything with pending charges. I've never seen a hold last so long, especially after they have collected their money.
The staff (especially in the Executive Lounge) was exceptionally friendly and accommodating. Our bed was very comfortable, the view was fantastic, and everything seemed up to date. We somehow snagged this Hilton Honors room and the frree wi-fi through Kayak. The location is on the edge of a residential neighborhood and a bunch of restaurants within walking distance. There were a couple of hairs in the shower, but nothing too shocking. Parking overnight and hourly was so expensive that we had to search for street parking. Free wifi was only available in public spaces. Some of the facilities were closed (due to winter) or accessible only by Hilton Honors.
Coffee Bean Housekeeping never cleaned the room even though we left at 1pm. I asked the front deask for towels when I came back at 11:30pm and they were not delivered until 12:30.

Upon telling the desk clerk and manager at check-in that I had honeymooned at this hotel almost 47 years ago, they expressed genuine delight and immediately offered me a complimentary service. The following morning when I needed help with the timing of a couple of things, I discovered that the word about my stay had spread and a second manager took care of me with very attentive service. It's wonderful that a large, old hotel in a big city understands the importance of making the individual guest feel special.
The price was lower because the hotel is under construction so the price was cheaper. Room was very nice, bed was soft, bathroom was nice, and location was great. The layout is arkward because of the construction.
This hotel is the same every time I go excellent...I really love the little relaxation area near the escalators and bar. The staff was warm and welcoming from the moment I stepped through the door with my 12 year old. I detest the hold hotels put on your credit card and don't release for days and was told I could pay the $50 incidental in cash (which I received back at checkout before the housekeeper had even cleaned the room). The room was indeed small with only 1 bed which would have been a problem if I hadn't been traveling with family. However, it was clean, along with the bathroom. I did whack my elbow against the wall as I was showering as the stall was a bit cramped. We received great instructions on how to make our way to the White House and monuments - - all within walking distance. We finished our running around a bit early so we took advantage of the 2nd floor lounge for about a half hour before heading back to Union Station. There was an industrial coffee/espresso/cappuccino maker, tea bags, newspapers, a big screen tv set to CNN, a charging station, computers etc. The rooms are too small for friends to convene comfortably so the lounge is a nice spot. Convenience: A block away from the Circulator, a block away from the Farragut North and Farragut West station (it is actually on top of the Farragut West station, however, the entrance is closed so it's necessary to walk to the other side a block down). The complimentary bottled water saved us some money and we surely took advantage. The shower was uncomfortably small for a tall lanky person like me. Whacking my elbow against the wall isn't something I expect to happen in a hotel (usually hotel bathrooms are more comfy than my micro bathroom at home in NYC). Also, the room did not have a mini fridge which would have been nice for our leftovers. The hotel is downtown so the area at night is sparse (still feels safe though). You'll need to take a little walk to find some good breakfast if you set out early on a weekend because the nearby places are either never open on the weekends or only open closer to 9 am.

We were in DC to visit our son at GWH. Clean and efficient. Perfect location to the occasion. The bed could have been positioned 90° to the 8' room width.
We went to DC to celebrate my husband's birthday for a long weekend. We looked for a long time online and a lot of the offering was overpriced for the amenities available. The Club Quarters was a great find!!!! The staff was very helpful throughout our stay. There is an espresso bar on the 2nd floor!! We were a few blocks from all the greatest attractions, walked to every site. Never had to take a cab or the Metro. Overall, we had a wonderful stay and will come back. We found a gem in D.C. and will be recommending it to our family and friends.

The room was nice until we looked out the window and found we had a great view of the roof... (sarcasm) Valet constantly begging for tips. Being from Vegas I tip almost excessively however if someone begs for it or nearly has his hand out the entire time it is not coming. It's called a gratuity for a reason. Then when delivering the vehicle no opening the trunk, and doesn't return the seat to where they found it or at least close. Not much effort in valet.
That staff was very helpful and friendly. Also, the location was great. Very close to the Capitol building. We upgraded to a buffet breakfast, which was lacking and the hot food was cold. Not a good value at $25/ person, but at a hotel, I understand the price, but if the food is cold, then it was a waste of money.
Very nice amenities and the shower was great! I booked my stay two month prior for a King Bed for one night. When I got there, they said they were sold out of King Bed's and all they had were two doubles. Not the biggest deal, but what is the point of booking a King in advance if that is not what is available? Also, our room did have a musty smell to it when we first got it. After running the air for a bit, it went away.

Location Hidden charges. $58 a night to park. Nowhere did I see that when I booked the trip. $8 for a draft beer that should be $3, I get a call from security in the evening waking me up, stating that the policy is to call if the do not disturb sign is out. The do not disturb sign was out, I didn't want to be disturbed. Couldn't go back to sleep. I'm a small business owner, if I treated my customers that way, I would be out of business. I will never give that hotel a dime again.
We upgraded at check-in for an extra $50 which doubled the space. The location is excellent as it's walking distance to several sites. The fitness center is excellent and is included in the price of the room. Lack of parking requires you to valet for $56 a day. If you are somebody that needs a great view you won't find it here.

Hotel is nice enough, clean and comfortable, polite staff, the normal positives from a hotel. Besides parking it was a very good experience. The only thing I would complain about is that parking in the area is incredibly difficult at best. The hotel has plenty of parking but it costs 50$ for overnight and there wasn't really any warning for this fact, if there was it would have been much less annoying.

This is a gorgeous hotel. The entrance is very grand with beautiful chandeliers. The staff was attentive and polite. We checked in quickly and were given a large room with a balcony - even a spacious bathroom. The metro is very close if you're heading to the monuments or museums. Also the zoo is about a half mile up Conn. Ave. which was convenient. Adams Morgan is nearby and there are lots of great restaurants in between. You can't beat this location anywhere in D.C. I've stayed at the Omni in New Orleans, New York, and Richmond over the years. They are all an excellent choice. Nothing.

I liked the size of the rooms. The elevators fit maybe 4 people. One of the two broke and we waiting for about 15 before we took the stairs from the 8th floor. We had a group of friends staying on the east end. Someone was throwing and party and you could hear them when we got off the elevatorl. It was unacceptable how loud there were. An hour later security came and did nothing. I was glad my room was on the other side of the hotel.

I had to cancel my reservation due to an emergency, and was charged a full day at the hotel. I never stayed there. Very unfair.
The OMNI is a beautiful hotel with a lovely garden and nice pool and gym. Excellent location for conferences in the Wardman Center just across. Good connection to metro. I had booked a room 3 months in advance including 4 days on a conference rate. 5 days before the main meeting I received an email telling me I had to move to an airport hotel, 30 minutes drive away from the hotel and the conference I was going to attend for the Tuesday and Wednesday night of my Sunday to Saturday stay because of a 'technical error' in booking. I had a meeting at the OMNI the very Tuesday. When calling them management (Chris) was non-accommodating and impolite and the offer of a refund to find another accommodation is little help 4 days before a conference with 4000 attendants. They offered to cover one of the nights in the airport hotel. Overall friendliness in the hotel was not at the level usually encountered in places of this level and I had to call at 14:00 one day to get the room serviced.
Location is ideal for seeing the museums and monuments. Lobby and restaurant staff are warm and welcoming. If you forget to tip housekeeping each morning, don't expect clean towels.

Location, Cafe DuPont and Bar DuPont Terrible reservation system. I believe they intentionally overbook the hotel and end up turning away guests. WiFi is terrible. No connection during my 5 nights even after daily complaints. Night front desk staff is mediocre.
The hotel staff was very cordial. Very busy and active bar in the hotel. Breakfast from the hotel restaurant was good. The room was clean and very modern. Beds were very comfortable. Access to the closet was limited due to the proximity of the bed to the closet doors - couldn't open the doors enough.

I had reserved and paid for a room a week before I was scheduled to arrive. When I finally got there at 11:15p after a long day of travel, the front desk clerk informed me that they had NO ROOM available for me. He gave me a "voucher" for a "nearby" hotel, handed me a $20 bill and hailed me a cab. This other hotel was miles away, not nearly as nice or well-located, and had no idea what was going on. I received no follow-up from the Dupont Circle Hotel management or staff to make sure everything was ok, no less a complimentary stay or anything. And the kicker: as of today (4 days after this debacle) the $1000+ charge for my room is STILL on my credit card (i.e., no refund). I will never, ever stay at this hotel again, and neither should you.

The neighborhood had a little of everything for you whithin short walk distance. Was nice to have the calm of the neighborhood but close enough to get into the hustle of the downtown area. The housekeeping staff spent more times in the hall on their phones texting and talking. We left our rooms around 10a and when we returned around 4:30 Our room had not yet been cleaned. Before we left for dinner we called and asked that our room be refreshed and housekeeping said they would be right up. They never came. I did say something to the front desk at check out - her response was "oh, that's not supppsed to happen that way. Now, I did get an email from management apologizing, but stating that he discussed with housekeeping and they blamed us for having the do not disturb on. We had made sure it was Not on (double checked) before we left for dinner. The staff was very friendly - just REALLY distracted with their phones.
The only thing I can really say is that the location of this hotel room is right in the middle of everything.An the shower was great Where do I start, first off the rooms don't match the picture online. The staff there is very rude. The only way I was able to get any help from them was to ask to speak to the manager. The beds there look like something from 1980's . There is no door on the bathroom so if you want to us the bathroom if you have family,friends with you you have to use the lobby bathroom. The parking fee for this place is way to high your best to drive 2 blocks down an park your own car for $15.00 instead of paying the hotel room $55.20.

The location can not be beat in DC. It's right in the middle of Dupont Circle with bars, restaurants, embassies, the metro and access to many buses. Staff was very very vice. I loved their Aromatherapy toiletries. No breakfast, There's not real refrigerator in the room. Also the room was small and didn't have a separate bathroom. The bathroom was separated by half a glass wall. I did not like this. If a colleague or friend came over, it would be so awkward for them to use the bathroom. Cleanliness was OKAY, def not up to par considering the price of the hotel. For example, the couch pillow had a stain on it.
The ideal location in Dupont Circle Washington D.C. over-shadowed some of the quirks in the room configuration. Very nice bar & restaurant in the lobby. Not much room to hang clothes or unpack clothes. The lighting in the room and bathroom could have been brighter. The TV could have been on an extension arm or situated in the center of the room. The door-less shower stall was a bit messy.

The staff were helpful and nice and the location was convenient. The kitchen is a nice convenience, but not needed for a short stay. The carpet in the room was dirty. There is no fan or window in the washroom so steam from the shower stays in the room, this causes humidity and mold. I'm allergic to mold so this was very uncomfortable. The hotel has two towers, and only one common washroom with one stall located in the other tower. If you have a late flight out you can store your suit cases but no place to change. The toiletries were advertised as designer. It was bath and body brand. The washroom was dirty, hair in the tub. I don't recommend the Hotel for physically challenged guests as there are steep stairs up to the elevator from the lobby. I had to struggle with the suitcases up the stairs. Beware that the hotel charges if there are more than 2 occupants in the room. This was not disclosed at booking. They also charge for incidentals at check in. I found this Hotel to be Overpriced for what you get. I stayed at the Marriott down the street last year, I payed about the same and had a much nicer room, pool, etc.
Just a few blocks from the museums, white house, etc. Only 40 feet from a CVS. Rooms were nice and clean. My Only complaint was that when asked about parking they told me they have a Valet. Afterwards a friend told me he parked himself for free. Not sure if they changed their rules or it was just poor communication. Either way i paid like 35$ extra each night.
BEDBUGS. I had to launder everything and throw away my luggage. very annoyed. have stayed here before but will not be going back.
State Plaza provides nice, basic business-type lodging with good service.
The location is perfect for a family trip to visit Washington D.C. The staff was very helpful in directing us to various sites and helping us navigate the city. Our billing was not correct and it still isn't corrected. I have made two phone calls to the hotel to fix it and still have not had a return call. I will make another call today and hope to hear from them.
Kitchen and dressing area... very unique! TV didn't work very well. The front desk didn't know all the routes and ways to get to the DULLES airport.
A great location within walking distance of the State Dept., where I was attending a conference. Staff was helpful. Renovated room in the north tower was beautiful. Spacious, super clean, full kitchen, new bathroom and carpeting. Comfy bed. CVS and a liquor store adjacent. Need to upgrade cable to HD service. No restaurants or cafes nearby--at least I couldn't find any.

The hotel is located very well. It is walking distance to Arlington cemetery or to Georgetown. The hotel is few steps from the subway station Rosslyn. We were very pleased to be available coffee and tea on the room. We recommend very comfortable bed, clean bathroom and helpful staff.
The area was a nice part of D.C., it is right next to the metro which is great. Very nice staff. No continental breakfast, but food price wasn't too shabby. Wish there was a pool.
Had a great experience. Very courteous and prompt staff. I ended up getting a head cold during my stay and they had cold medicine available for purchase so I didn't have to trek out to the local CVS or Walgreens. Would definitely stay again.

I wish I could bring the bathroom home with us. Kept amenities (water, coffee, towels, etc.) stocked and staff was very friendly and timely. I would most definitely recommend for young couples and business trips. Not a family hotel (which is one reason my boyfriend and I chose it). It's also directly across from a metro station, which was very convenient because parking's a nightmare in Arlington and D.C. No free wifi and not great reception for Verizon customers. Parking is a bit tight, but it's secure.
We stayed in room 626 and it took many minutes to get hot water in the shower. My wife waited the needed 3-5 minutes. I became impatient and just took a cold shower.
I thought the hotel and rooms were fantastic. I was very comfortable throughout my stay. Booking through Kayak got me a great deal, and it was definitely a steal to stay here. The location was perfect - right next to the Rosslyn metro stop. I was within walking distance of the Arlington Cemetary and Iwo Jima monument. There were several restaurants in the area that catered to a variety of tastes, which was really convenient. The hotel even provided a list of nearby restaurants with estimated travel times. I'd recommend a stay here! When I entered the hotel to check in, I was greeted by two men welcoming guests into the hotel. There was one man at the desk checking in a woman and her two daughters, and I stood in line behind them waiting to be helped. A few minutes later another man walked in and was greeted by the two men at the door; however, this time one of the men walked behind the desk and said he'd be happy to check the newcomer in. Well, what about me? I was standing in line way before him! I decided to let it go because I am not one for causing scenes. Well, a few minutes later it happened again with another new guest - she was also taken before me. Not sure if it was because I look young, wasn't dressed as nicely as these other guests, or was mistaken for one of the woman's daughters, but I should have been helped before the two people who arrived after me. In general, the people at the desk weren't as friendly with me as other (better dressed) guests. I'm a woman in my early 20s and was traveling alone - probably an indicator that I won't spend as much money as older men in business suits or families with children? Also, no free WiFi is a bummer. Things also didn't look as clean as they could have - dusty TV remote, water rings on tables, etc.

My husband and I stayed here before we left for our honeymoon, and it was a great pick! They gave us complimentary chocolate strawberries and sparkling water as a gift for being newlyweds. We loved it! Nice walking distance to Georgetown, right next to the metro.

The front desk representatives were uniformly helpful and kind. Whenever we needed something, they were on it immediately and were very friendly about it. I had a great experience with them! The bathroom drain was broken when we got there, but they got it fixed immediately, so that was good. I wish the parking were cheaper!

Requested quiet room -our room door faced the area above the bar and restaurant -extremely noisy. Would have been in bearable if it wasn't a suite so the bedroom had a second set of doors. Charged for parking

Staff was very friendly. Remembered me and assisted me efficiently. Room was nice, clean, good amenities. Boarding pass printing station made getting checked in in advance very easy. Excellent hotel overall for business travel. Toilet paper and tissue was thin and rough, many analog tv channels, dining was expensive. Internet access was not included.
We've stayed at this property twice, for an annual dance competition event. Hotel staff is nice and hospitable. We received great customer service from the check-in staff. Rooms were fine. Facility was fine. Hotel staff service was good. Restaurant service during our recent stay was very unpleasant, unfortunately. We were part of a large dance event, stayed in-house for a group dinner (25 people). I made reservations in advance. We ended up waiting for almost 2 hours to receive our food order. Some orders were messed up. There were errors will bills. I have a feeling that the restaurant was under-staffed, including kitchen staff. Waiter seemed stressed out and not customer-friendly. Overall, it was not a good dining experience at all, unfortunately. The following morning, there was a huge line for a buffet breakfast, which was very inconvenient. Everything about our breakfast experience felt very disorganized. Restaurant was not prepared for a large group, unfortunately. Many customers people were disappointed with quality of service. Our waiter was very patient and professional. Too bad I did not catch his name. He handled the situation as best as he could, with a smile on his face.

I loved the room and the cleanliness...the comfort of the bed..overall great... the fact that there was no tub mat in the bathroom. Tub very slippery. as a business traveler my flight was late and when I got to the hotel there was no restaurant or room service.. on my floor there were not even vending machines to purchase soft drinks..

Comfy beds, decent size room in the junior suite. Nice quality towels and linens. Staff was pretty rude when we came back from seeing monuments. Bar tender was very rude when I went to take a call from my sitter and acted as if I was running out on the tab and refused my drink when I returned for no reason. The manager, I assume was very rude when we came in laughing (mind you, it was a bday party and gathering of veterans) In serious need of vending machines or at least bottles of water. The night staff was nice enough to bring up a cup.
The hotel is very clean and well maintained. It is an old building with character. There didn't seem to be any dress code for the staff so I couldn't tell for sure who was working there or hanging out. Staff couldn't easily tell me where local restaurants were. I had to find them on my own. The air blowing into the room from the HVAC vent was loud. I would have expected this from a cheap hotel but I paid over $350 per night.

The Churchill was a delightful respite for this harried traveller. The staff was exceptionally helpful and friendly, the decor very pleasing, the room quite comfortable . All in all, my stay - though short- was very pleasant. I have no complaints.
Excellent service. I ask them if I could make my check in before 3 pm (the official hour) because I was going to arrive at 9 am, and they had my room ready for that hour.

We were in a suite and it was spacious and nicely furnished. Most staff were nice. Great having a Starbucks in the lobby. Nice central location. The bathroom was small, especially the corner sink. There was no counter space. Front desk clerks were hit and miss. Some nice, some not. Concierge staff were great. The breakfast was OK, not great.

The actual hotel was clean and updated, the staff was friendly and helpful. Overall the actual stay was great. Nice little happy hour offered at the bar. Valet parked my car for 1 night, and took it upon themselves to charge $50 to my credit card, plus a $17 convenience fee. No lot in the surrounding area exceeded $25 for overnight parking. I should have parked my own car. I feel that the hotel was nervy and rude to charge us double the going rate for parking - without notifying me. I felt taken advantage of, since we were already paying top dollar for a 1 night stay. The hotel was nice, but not that nice. I stay in DC all the time, but I may not return unless this problem is rectified.

The hotel is a beautiful place with excellent finishes. Everything was in great condition and high quality. The rooms were small, which in understandable given the location, but this was a double bed room so it seemed even smaller.
