Starting from the great staff and the elegance of the place, there are a lot of things to like and that is everything. The restaurant had such a great food, and we knew that since we are coming back from time to time just to experience a romantinc and very tasty meal.
I would be a "hater" if I could say something I didn't like.
Clean, new furniture, good breakfast.
No safe in the room. No air conditioning. Very noisy room.
Rooms look nice and there's lots of attention to details. Food was good in the restaurant downstairs and staff in the restaurant were nice and helpfull. Good access nearby to shops, pharmacy and even a notary public.
We came back one night at 2 A.M. after having to collect our bags from the airport as they didn't make it for the flight and found the hotel door closed. There is no bell, no interphone and no information on the door. Tried knocking with no answer, eventually had to find a staff entrance at the back through the kitchen to find a security guard sleeping and stating he had just closed the door as he was annoyed by people asking if there are rooms available. It was minus 5 Celsius outside and we had to spend 15 minutes outside in the cold. I spend around 150 days every year in hotels worldwide with my job and never experienced anything similar. Not even an apology was provided and I find it unacceptable that there was no way to contact anyone in a hotel that advertises 24h reception. One day before checking out we were promiced a late checkout for one of our rooms (we had 3) until 13:30 however on checkout day after making the payments we were told by another staff at reception she is unable to do that and that we must vacate all rooms by noon. It wouldn't have been a problem if we weren't promised late check out the other day however it seems like a lack of communication between staff and poor training . The pictures on booking do not reflect the location of the hotel properly, there is a gas station right in front of the hotel and a train track on the back side so there is no view. Also very noisy as the main road is right in front of the hotel.
