Cons: To far from down town. No pool, outside patio closed.
Pros: Beautiful room and view. Would visit again!
Pros: Room was great, quiet, loved the balcony. Would stay there again
Cons: There was hair in the jacuzzi tub, room we were in was a bit dated, but still clean.

Pros: Large rooms with nice amenities. Clean. Large resort with mutliple dining options, nice lobby area to gather, especially with young families. Great facilities with an indoor pool, arcade, and skiing.
Cons: They did not seem prepared for the weekend rush. Our room, which was supposed to be ready by 4pm, was not ready until 5:30 and we had to be put in a different room. This seemed to be an issue with multiple guests. The next morning, the alarm went off at 5am, as housekeeping did not check the alarm to make sure it was off. For a short weekend stay, these things are dissappointing.
Pros: The rooms were nice, clean and the bedding very comfortable.
Skiing was convenient and perfect for the beginner skier.
Cons: They were not prepared for the holiday check-in. Rooms were not ready till evening and it made it difficult for those with children. They offered "drinks" which were really not helpful when with a five year old.
No attempt to give us a different level room, etc.
Hallways and restaurants were not clean .
The staff in the restaurants were very nice and accommodating but they were pricey for a family resort.
Cons: Carpets should be cleaned more frequently - large dirt spots on carpet in our room. Also, time to install new carpets, as current carpets are starting to fade.
Pros: The rooms were very nice and the hotel was quiet. We ended up going to the water park so it was nice to come back to a hotel with more amenities than just fast food. The staff was extremely helpful.
Pros: Grounds are beautiful
Cons: Rooms are old and carpets were stained and dirty. The room didn't smell fresh and clean.
Pros: Beautiful grounds! The outdoor pool/patio looked fabulous as well but we didn't get to enjoy it as thew weather was a little cool.
Cons: Rooms were a little worn, you can tell that they made an effort to update recently but if you looked closer you can tell that the remodels/cosmetic improvements were not done well and attention to detail was not there. There was not a whole lot of insulation between rooms as you could hear others in room next to you pretty clearly.
Pros: The pool and grounds were very nice.
Cons: The fire pit in the embers lounge kept going out. We went for a couples massage but they don't have a sauna or hot tub that's coed afterwards for relaxing together. The signs that give directions around the property are sometimes confusing.

A golf course and a water park are other highlights, and rooms at this upscale resort offer up nice touches like designer toiletries and pillowtop beds with premium linens. Skiers will appreciate the free ski shuttle, along with access to ski passes, storage, and rentals.
Pros: Has a very nice lobby. Made you feel that this was a rather new luxury resort. However what you realize is that the rest of the property is old and tired. Rooms were clean and somewhat updated, but the same effort that was made in the lobby was not done elsewhere
Cons: staff not the most intelligent. But nice enough.

Cons: Thought the rooms were outdated. Bathrooms small. Tub ran slow.

Activities for all seasons are available at your fingertips. Crisp fall leaves, snow skiing images, spring vacation snap shots or summer sunset cruises with your loved ones are all perfect moments to capture for your life’s scrapbook of memories.
Pros: Indoor water park and convenient trolley between the two resorts. Spa and fitness center is top notch. The daily family activities with festive decorations is what makes our annual visit for the holidays.
Cons: Be prepared for longer than average wait time at restaurants. Food service and quality is average.
Pros: I like that every room has a kitchen and dining room, balcony, fireplace, as well as spacious bathrooms. Full size fridge to bring your own food. water park had enough to keep the kids busy. Great price.
Pros: I liked how October was a good time to go without a lot of people and lines, but I was disappointed at the end of the stay when we accidentally turned in our room keys (so we thought) and I handed the lady our rechargable game cards instead that look VERY similar. Our game cards already had points on them from us spending $ and we were just about to trade them in before we left and I quickly realized I mixed them up and went back and the lady at the desk said sorry you're out of luck we threw the cards in a bin and I don't know which one were yours. No apology or anything. So, my kids were pretty bummed they could not get a prize and I was disappointed that we played all those games, racked in a lot of points and then lost out. I will be emailing the resort. Also, the lady at the desk and the guy in the game room said this happens all the time so, you'd think they'd fix it by now. On the other hand, I loved the Restaurant Brisaggo at the Geneva Resort right down the road. Delicious. Pricey, but worth it. The rooms were spacious and we got to hear all the screams coming from the haunted hayrides-looked pretty creepy! FYI anyone visiting Lake Geneva, they stop selling alcohol at 9pm. We stopped at a Walmart to pick something up and didn't realize this coming from Chicago that we were out of luck for the night. Overall, it was a nice trip. I might go back depending on the reply I get from the resort after I email them.
Pros: My wife & I visited TRL&W so we could determine if this destination would be good for our tribe (children/spouses, grandchildren & us) to visit after Christmas in-lieu of buying presents for everyone. We all figured spending time together at a kid fun/friendly place would be really cool.
Guess what? The place is great & we'll be planning our trip there.
Timber Ridge Lodge and Waterpark features downhill skiing, snowboarding, and a free ski shuttle. Guests can visit the spa to indulge in massages, body wraps, or body scrubs, and Smokeys Bar-b-que House serves breakfast, lunch, and dinner. There's a golf course and a water park, and condos include upscale features like fireplaces and jetted tubs. Skiers will appreciate access to ski storage, rentals, and lessons.
Pros: I love the property it's beautiful setting on a golf course and private drive make you feel you are driving into the woods and luxury.
Cons: The room is showing age with spots on the carpet and dents in the refrigerator door.
Pros: It was very cozy. A nice getaway
Cons: I had to leave
Pros: The location and activities to do on the site.
Cons: Our first stay a couple of years ago, we had a jacuzzi and a fire place the approx. same time of year and price range. this room was ok, but half the space. I would like to know if next winter if we would be able to request a fire place.
Cons: The room set-up was horrible and completely different from the last time we stayed there. The resort services were not helpful either, refused to accommodate us and made us feel dumb for asking to change rooms.
if you can prepare slippers that will be great
Pros: The big room and excellent furnitures
Cons: nothing, it was great
The grounds are beautiful. Plenty was offered to do. And a trolley was there to take you anywhere on the grounds. The Spa staff was very accommodating on a very short notice.
Pros: Beautiful area/grounds.
I think the price was a little high for a Holiday Inn.
Pros: Location for what we were there for.
Cons: The hair dryer was broke in our room.
Great place to stay in Lake Geneva. We stayed in an older motel last year about the same time. The other place was very out dated and small. It was clean but olny $12 less than the beautiful suite we had at the Holiday Inn Club Vacation.
Pros: Thye suite was beautiful as well as the grounds. We were there only one night but want to come back of a extended stay!
Super pleased with this hotel. Was pleasantly surprised with all the extra features of the room like washer/dryer and full kitchen with dishes! The pool was perfect for young families although it would have been nicer if the water features and fresh towels were ready when it opened instead of hours later. Great location. Close to a large grocery store. All in all really pleased.
Pros: Loved the family pool with fenced splash area and hourly games for kids.
Cons: Kept finding pieces of glass in the bathroom. Looked like a glass was broke and the cleaning crew did not sweep well. Also was irked that the pool opened at 8am but the water features and fresh towels did not get turn on and put out until at least 9:30.
We are frequent vistors of the Grand Geneva for the past 10 years and were estatic to hear of the Holiday Inn Vacation Club rooms. So much that we brought extended family this time to experience the wonderful resort and all it has to offer. We will continue to visit and hopefully come with other family members more often.
Pros: Location and many amenities it offered
Cons: There seems to be a lack of communication or improper training between the Holiday Inn Club offices and the hosting Grand Geneva staff. We extended our stay and had difficulty doing so since their staff had to wait to hear elsewhere for availability.
overall the trip was awesome I did the two room villa very romantic. bringing ur own food to cook helps you save money unles you just want to go out and eat. everything is local walgreens, bowling n theatre very quite
Pros: the rooms are very cozy like home away from home
Cons: the check out time is too early! for the price a free breakfast/ dinner should have been added

Pros: The hotel is directly across the street from the lake, next to The Baker House, a few minutes of walking to the tourist downtown area. It's got everything you need!
Cons: The decor was a bit outdated, and not in the charming way
Enjoy your visit to Lake Geneva with a stay at Bella Vista Suites. Guests can take a dip in the indoor pool, then indulge in deep-tissue massages, aromatherapy, or reflexology. A fitness center and a spa tub are other highlights, and rooms offer up nice touches like jetted tubs and pillowtop beds with premium linens.
Pros: We liked that the pool and hot tub was open until 11 pm. The firplace in the unit did not work so I called the front desk and they sent a maintenance person was at our door in 10 mins.
Cons: We enjoyed our stay and didn't have any cons while our stay at the cove.
Pros: Our room was just ok. The decor was dark and outdated, not inviting. Nice kitchenette and view.
The walls are so thin that it's hard to fall asleep with kids running up and down the hallways. I really don't understand that parents let their kids do it at midnight.
Not very clean, just wiped down. Still lots of tooth paste spots on the cabinet in the bathroom.
Will try other places next time.
Almost forgot to mention that the front desk lady was super nice and very helpful.
Cons: Dark outdated decor
Loud hallways (kids running up and down at late hours)
Not very clean
Pros: Loved the location, easy walk to restaurants/shops/beach. Zero-depth kids' pool was great. Resort was not overcrowded. Nice view from balcony over the pools. Having a full kitchen and separate sitting area was really great, particularly with small children who still nap. The room layout was very nice for a family.
Cons: Restaurant didn't offer breakfast, only on-site breakfast option was to buy a pastry from the coffee shop. Also, room was clean, but starting to show its age.
Pros: Great amount of space. Having two bathrooms is a huge plus when staying with kids. The kids loved sleeping in the loft! Location was perfect for beach. Pools were great. Having indoor and outdoor pools was wonderful as sometimes it was too cold outside. Washer/Dryer was added bonus especially with wet bathing suits. Having kitchen was great so we could have food and drinks on hand and could cook dinner in when needed.
Cons: The beds were not very comfortable. The front bed is too close to door. Everyone has to go to bed at same time as a single light or TV would keep others up. The elevator by our entrance door did not go up to our floor, so we had to carry our luggage up and down stairs.
Pros: The shops, the location of the Cove, nice clean park behind it.
Cons: Paying to go to the Beech
Pros: I liked the helpful girl at the desk checking in and out .I loved the spacious room and comfortable bed .I loved the dish washer and the fact that we could park at the resort all day even after checking out .The pool was fun too. It was a perfect mother daughter get-away!!!!!!
Cons: I can not think of anything that I did not like!!!!!
Pros: Fireplace and Kitchen
Cons: carpet was dated and stained due to the solid color spots showed up very easily could here foot steps from the room above
Pros: room was big.
Cons: I arrived with my 85 yr old Mother in a wheel chair and there was no one ( even if I wanted to pay extra) to help us with our luggage. However, they did make sure they charged the "resort daily fee" right away.
There was no parking for us- handicapped or my sister who had another room in the facility. They had to park across the street in public parking! There were many parties and events which made the hotel a bit manic and loud. We didn't have appropriate bedding for the pull out couch in the suites. No blankets, sheets or even pillows.
I called ahead of time to make sure if I was going to pay $275 a night they had handicap access to their two pools. They said yes definitely. We waited at the indoor pool, at 8pm ( the pool closed at 9p) for 20 minutes to get someone there to get the handicap access working. The outdoor pool handicap access never worked!
I called the concierge to get the phone number of our next hotel near the airport in Chicago to make sure we had a handicapped room. They never offered to make the call for me and actually gave me the wrong number! Consequently, I arrived late that evening at the wrong hotel.
If you stay at a basic hotel one cannot expect much more than a clean room and maybe internet. Paying $275 a night for a resort, I expect much much more.
Pros: The location was great. Our room was a little dated, but very clean. We enjoyed having our own kitchen and the Jacuzzi tub. The pool and activities were awesome.
Cons: The drain in our tub was very slow. We did tell maintenance, but we saw no change.

After hanging out at the outdoor pool or indoor pool, guests can grab a bite to eat at Sprecher's, which serves American cuisine and is open for lunch and dinner. A poolside bar and a bar/lounge are other highlights, and rooms offer upscale touches like fireplaces and jetted tubs.
Cons: poor heat control, noisy hot water (made noise and started with a jerk when turned on), broken speakers on the tv (very poor sound)
