Pros (+) One of the best hotels we have ever stayed at compared to many throughout the world. Will be staying long term when I decide to write my book. Room, location and of course the staff were outstanding. wE REALLY WERE GUESTS AND ARE NOT BEING PAID FOR THIS REVIEW. Also, this is the first review we have ever done. COMPUTERS ####%^^#@@#$%!!!

Cons (-) One issue I had was when I was given my credit card receipt it was not itemised, so I had no idea if the valet charge was included. I therefore paid the valet guy separate for the valet parking. Then, when I later went over the credit card bill it appears that I had been charged for the valet on the credit card bill. Pros (+) Extremely helpful staff, I twice stayed here in one week, fourth floor of the hotel hard by the church square. The rooms are spacious and darkly handsome with just the night accents of decor. Love the rich wood floors and doors, roomy bathrooms and just everything.
Cons (-) I travel a lot and honestly cannot demerit the hotel for anything. From directions to restaurant recommendations to central location in old Montreal to handout umbrellas on a rainy Wednesday, Place d'Armes came through.
Pros (+) Very helpful staff. Great location. Clean. Quiet. Great breakfast which is included in the price. Overall excellent value at $160 per night.
Cons (-) Very hard to find the hotel. Room was very small with a shower made entirely of glass in the bedroom itself. Room was very small.
