cold air, full mount kk view
I like for the mountain view. However during my stay it rains all day, the rain only stops for a while in the next morning, that's the only chance for me to snap pic with mount Kinabalu. The 'Malaysian style' food. We had our dinner and breakfast there, although we are malaysian, we find that the 'malaysian style' food is not nice. We chose American style for breakfast, it's much better. The other thing is the steep road to reach the resort, it's dangerous to drive especially on rainy days.
The Celyn Resort Kinabalu is in a beautiful location overlooking Mount Kinabalu. Very helpful staff, and comfortable rooms. As the mountain is usually only visible between sunrise and about 10am, when the clouds cover the mountain, we were quite happy with our valley view room. Highly recommended if you want to get away from city life; there is no traffic noise here, save for the occasion car along the dirt track leading to the resort. It is about 3km to get to the nearest main road, so be prepared to hire a pricey hotel van to get anywhere.
what can i say... the resort's surrounding view is magnificent. Back to nature scenic. Definitely will be going back there again.
Very friendly staff, beautiful location and nice breakfast included in the price.
Location of the hotel is nice and views from the resort are excellent. The service is good, bathrooms equipped with hotwater. food is nice but limited options transport from the resort to anywhere is available through the resort but very expensive. recommend own transport
nice view. Good for people who plan to relax Far from main road. The hotel does not provide shuttle to Kundasang town. The transport service charged is really expensive..RM100 round trip to Kinabalu Park which is less than 15km.
the cold air fresh
the views no bar, not much for kids to do
The room was spacious and the location stunning, we enjoyed the food in the evening. The staff helped us find some good excursions to Poring and Mt Kinabalu, and also were helpful in arranging our return to Kota Kinabalu. The hotel is very isolated, transport to nearest town was expensive with no choices. You need a car for longer than 3 nights.
