We showed up a little late after the kitchen closed. I let them know we would arrive until 9 or later. They were nice enough to save us a cold plate of cold cuts, cheese, bread etc to enjoy on our arrival. I am dairy free and the staff especially at breakfast made sure that I had non dairy yogurt, butter and cheese if needed. The menus are all alerting you to allergens in each food. The second night, they substituted a few things for me so I could enjoy the main meal as well as an apple sorbet which was delish. Our dog stayed with us, I believe we were charged about 15$ for him. He was comfortable and no one gave us a hard time about him. There is plenty of grassy areas around for him to do his business. The atmosphere was very rustic and nicely kept. Location was convient to ski area without having to pay arm and a leg to stay on the mountain. Surfaus-fiss-ladis was a great mountain! My favorite so far. St antons was only a 40 min drive away so you can make it there as well if you are up for a long day.
We were not told about the ski and boot drying room or the sauna on our arrival (maybe because we checked in late or the language barrier). There also seemed to be a small childs play room downstairs. Pillow and mattress were not comfortable for me. My husband didn't mind them.
Service and friendliness
No water for free during dinner
the dinners were very good, the staff were very friendly, the bar was cosy the prices of at the bar were reasonable bus stop right outside hotel to/from the train station ski bus stop a short walk from the hotel good ski/boot room with heated boot holders nice quiet spa area the juicer at the breakfast bar was a great idea! good selection of seeds, nuts, breads, cold cuts
the room was small and the glass door did not stay closed between the bedroom and bathroom which made the room very hot the pillows were too flat and uncomfortable and you could hear the people in the adjacent rooms talking and walking around in their shoes in the rooms above really would have loved a pool or hot tub after a day skiing would have been nice to have different choice for breakfast (pancakes, smoked salmon) but everyday was just eggs (although what was offered for breakfast was nice)
This lovely hotel is located in Ischgl. The establishment comprises a total of 37 snug guests rooms. This hotel does not accept pets.
