Pros: Friendly staff. Large rooms with great view.
Cons: Walls must be thin and doors slam shut which woke me up at 3:00am!

9.7 Excellent
Pros: Really enjoyed the nightly live music events in the lobby/bar area! The hotel is also about 3 blocks from the Boardwalk, and a 5 minute drive to downtown Asbury Park, where there are some great little restaurants and bars. Just an excellent location. The rooms have a very "college" vibe, but are bright, homey, and comfortable. You can also order food delivered directly to your room from a local place called JR's, which has a large menu and pretty good food.
8.8 Excellent
Pros: Location was excellent - hotel bar, lounge areas, entertainment options and pool, etc. were great.
Cons: Our room was on the small side and was missing basic things like a coffee maker. I like the modern look, but the room wasn't upscale modern, it felt very ikea modern. So for the week-day rate/deal I got, it was fine, but I wouldn't have wanted to pay any more for the room we had.
7.1 Good
Pros: The design of the hotel is beautiful. Fells very west coast and has great access to the beach.
Cons: Rooms are really small and do not have anything like, coffee machine, fridge, or microwave. Also no adjoining rooms in the hotel.
8.0 Excellent
Pros: Close to the beach and boardwalk
Cons: Floors are thin. Was constantly woken up during the middle of the night
9.4 Excellent
Pros: 1. Location. 2. Decor 3. Cleanliness 4. Friendliness of staff 5. Size of bathroom 6. The rooftop lounge: Gorgeous views over the entire city. It's nice that there is a separate entrance than the hotel to get to the lounge.
Cons: 1. The room decor looked like it was Ikea. Clean lines, but looked cheap. 2. Poor design of shower. Nice big bathroom. I liked the tile. Note that my bathroom had a standup shower, not a tub (I'm not sure of all rooms though). The water from the showerheard must have exceeded the drains ability to drain, because by the time I was done, the towel I placed on the floor was soaked!!! Not moist but soaked. The threshold may not have had enough heights. 3. I was in my room until sometime in afternoon. The cleaning people knocked and said I wasn't ready, but they never came back. Not that I'm particulary smelly so it didn't matter much, but it would have been nice to have come back to a made bed.

10.0 Excellent
Pros: The serenity of the facility and the staff.
Cons: I did not like that the restaurant did not offer staple foods such as hot oatmeal for breakfast. For people allergic to milk we felt the restaurant should offer a substitute such as Almond or soya milk. We are ready to pay extra for this choice.
6.0 Good
Pros: The Staff was very helpful and friendly
Cons: Its a very old building. We had a leak in our room and had to change rooms at 1:30 am. Then in the next room we were in, the toilet clogged. I was just surprise how much the hotel cost per night when considering those factors.
2.8 Mediocre
Pros: Location was where I needed to be, bar was expensive as was the room. Weddings took up most of the seating.
Cons: Our "Garden View" room had no elevator service, 3 flights of stairs, smelled like mildew, was extremely small and our "view" consisted of a rusty crane and concrete. We asked for a change of room immediately, and were denied. We were charged 80% for our room when we left that same night (my wife REFUSED to stay in this dungeon), we were compelled to call relatives for lodging on River Road, where we should have gone in the first place. Amy, the Manager said "she would look into it". Will post another review if rectified.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: The bed was comfortable, the staff was eager to be helpful, and the bar was a great time. I look forward to our next stay there!

7.7 Good
Pros: Location. Beach was beautiful
Cons: No room service or restaurant open after 10 during the week
4.5 Okay
Pros: Tough to beat the location - right on the beach and next to the boardwalk.
Cons: Service everywhere was awful - front desk, pool bar, room service, you name it. Food and drinks were really bad too and over-priced. My advice is to book a room on sale and just use the hotel for its beach access, towels, and clean room. Do everything else outside of the hotel.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: KUDOS!!! The staff was excellent! My stay was fantastic! Outstanding customer service skills! Great customer experience!
Cons: Off season or non peak prices could be a little less. I would have loved to stay two nights.
5.7 Okay
Pros: Rooftop pool. Tiki bar.
Cons: My account was charged in error for dinner at the hotel restaurant that I never had. It was difficult having the charges explained to me by the staff. it was eventually resolved.

7.4 Good
Pros: Proximity to highway and the office was good.
Cons: The bed was hard and uncomfortable. The bathroom was so small that the door couldn't get out of the way of the toilet and shower curtain rod, unless closed. Breakfast that I normally get free from a sister Hilton hotel nearby was exactly the same and $15, but the coffee was absolutely horrible. I asked for it to be billed to my hotel room so it was on the same bill but instead they sent me another separate bill.
8.0 Excellent
Pros: Room was available when we arrived, clean and comfortable
Cons: Decor needs updating including bed and heating system
9.7 Excellent
Pros: I loved the welcome chocolate chip cookies. That was absolutely such a wonderful thank you for staying at our hotel. Everyone was very courteous and there was a wedding party staying there also. Definitely a wonderful experience and will definitely stay again! Kaelynn was super accommodating to my parents whom both walk with canes! Their room was close to the elevator as I requested. Just a welcoming staff!
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Staff was friendly and quiet hotel
Cons: N/A
9.7 Excellent
Pros: Very clean, 15 min drive to the beach, nice pool, right off the highway.
Cons: All outside/back/side doors leading into the hotel are open at all times of the day and night and where they have it set to be keycard access only its always unlocked and open anyone can walk in, which made me a little nervous.

4.5 Okay
Pros: Great location good sea view
Cons: the rooms were dirty, the toilet flush, the HVAC was noisey and barely worked, the room had wet floors, it smelled terrible, the quality of the linens was bad etc..
4.0 Okay
Pros: Location was great, steps away from boardwalk.
Cons: There were stains on the carpet, furniture as well as the walls. The tub wouldn't drain when you showered.
7.4 Good
Pros: the people that work at the hotel was very nice, polite and friendly the maid that clean my room was very sweet, polite and respect woman because i gave her a tip and she was happy
Cons: the breakfast was terrible the chair of the pool a lot of them are broke and no comfortable at night people screaming and very noise,i call the security to let them know i ask for ocean view but the room only had very little ocean view a building was block the view because i was on the 4 floor,i pay the ocean view and i feel i loss my money because the view was horrible
3.7 Mediocre
Pros: The grounds were nicely maintained, and the beach was close.
Cons: 1.Parking was a nightmare 2. No fridge 3. No coffee pot 4. Broken closet doors which maintenance came to fix but didn't 5. Wifi not free 6. Not a single menu or brochure in the room for restaurants or local attractions
8.5 Excellent
Pros: The proximity to Asbury Park beach and the board walk was unmatched! Excellent location for beach days and date night! The 3 restaurants we went to were amazing-- Kate Marie's, Stella Marina, and Robinson Ale House. The room was big enough for the two of us. The bed was comfortable and the linens were clean. I would return for a quick trip.
Cons: The hotel had some "modern" updates in the main common areas, but there needs to be more renovations throughout the hotel. The bathroom door barely closed...there were pieces of the wall that needed to be replastered and painted. They gave basic updates to the carpet, TV, and beds, but the closets and bathrooms were left wanting.
8.0 Excellent
Pros: Great location! Right across from the beach and walking distance to everything. Staff was friendly - everyone smiled and said hello. Easy and quick check in process.
Cons: S L O W elevators!
3.7 Mediocre
Pros: Location to ocean
Cons: Dated, smelled bad, bugs, marginal bedding, had to close door to use commode, shower control not functional, took forever for hot water, then to scalding. Needs restoration immediately. Asbury deserves better
8.5 Excellent
Pros: The staff couldn't have been nicer. The lobby and the building itself is absolutely gorgeous. The location of the hotel is prime for going to the boardwalk or the nearby venues such as the Stone Pony. The pool was a really nice area in which to relax.
Cons: The rooms were nice but for $300+ a night (the going rate for a summer weekend), I would have expected it to be nicer. The room was small, which was expected, but it seems the room hasn't been updated in several years. The bathroom is a bit strange - at least ours was. The sink was super shallow and the shower doesn't have a curtain or door. It has a glass panel that doesn't fully prevent the water from spraying onto the bathroom floor. Not the worst hotel room I've stayed in but not the best one for the price paid.
6.2 Good
Pros: We were given free parking to compensate for the fact that our room was not ready upon our arrival.
Cons: The hotel restaurant was not available during our stay, which was a huge disappointment. The handles on the dresser were broken, the volume button on the iHome was broken, and there was some sort of water damage to the ceiling. There was also a round of housekeeping where some trash was not removed.
3.1 Mediocre
Pros: Proximity to the beach
Cons: 8th floor smelled of dog urine Broken lock on the door Upgraded to an ocean view room and when I got into the room it was facing the opposite direction of the ocean. I called the front desk to see if I could be put in the correct room and they told me that room was listed as a "partial ocean view room" and they did not have any more rooms available to switch us to. I was offered a 10% off credit for the issue with the door lock in our room which the front desk attendant told me came to around $73 and when we received the credit it was $60 off the bill.
2.8 Mediocre
Pros: Location
Cons: Tv was broken, hair dryer Dodd not wor, room was never cleaned and we stayed 3 days. The hotel is over priced.
5.4 Okay
Pros: The bed was comfortable.
Cons: Was shocked to see how cheap and broken down so much of the hotel is (e.g., the elevator floor is uneven, the walls on our floor had poorly covered holes in the wall, the room did not have a mini fridge, the television was so pixelated it was uncomfortable to watch, etc).

Cons: Charged again for room even though online reservation had already charged.
3.6 Mediocre
Pros: Only thing we like was that there was available room for us at the time we needed when we traveled to Jersey.
Cons: We checked in early and our room wasn't ready yet. When we returned 6hours later we found our room had not been cleaned. We were moved to another room. When we went to turn in to sleep, we realized that the bed sheets were damp and had a rip in it to. The bathroom fan did not work either. My wife and I were very disappointed. For the money we played it was not worth the headaches we went through. We come to Jersey often to visit and we will not stay at this hotel anymore.
4.8 Okay
Cons: My room had fumes from paint which did not allow me to sleep.
2.2 Mediocre
Cons: The staff was not very helpful. I reserved a king non-smoking room and when I arrived at 7pm, they tried giving me a king smoking room. I showed them my reservation confirmation and they tried blaming it on the reservation site. They gave away all the king non-smoking rooms and I was DOWNGRADED to a queen room. In addition, the room was gross. For example, carpet was sticky and the pillows were dingy.

8.5 Excellent
Pros: -Bed and pillows were most likely the most comfortable I have ever slept on. -Staff was super friendly -Fridge and microwave in the room -Free Breakfast everyday -Clean room -Nice flat-screen TV
Cons: -Lack of TV channels unless you like HSN or foreign TV -Would have liked some more selections for breakfast but hey it was free can't beat that. -Pool and hot tub should be open later.
4.5 Okay
Pros: After stepping into the room, I immediately checked the bed to see if the sheets were changed / crease free, and they were, though I was afraid to touch the blanket. The TV works well. Refrigerator in room.
Cons: The room has a hardwood floor, the tub has a dirt ring around it, the lampshades are cracked and dusty, and the bed makes A LOT of noise. I was appalled to see a hotel room with a hardwood floor. The floor becomes very cold at night. After turning all three lamps on, the room lighting was still very dim. If it wasn't for the bright TV coupled with the lamps it would have been difficult to see particular items in the room. The hallway had a strange subtle smell to it. The water pressure in the tub was decent, except both the water in the tub and bathroom sink took a while to empty. The night front desk staff member looked like he was straight out of prison. I've never stayed at hotel where I've been forced to sign a contract.
5.1 Okay
Cons: The room smelled mildewy.
8.0 Excellent
Pros: Good hotel, I'll stay there again.
Cons: Pool is closed too early and breakfast could be little bit longer too
4.0 Okay
Cons: The rooms smells humid, we checked 3 before deciding on the least smeally one.
6.0 Good
Cons: Got bit by something. Probably a bed bug
9.1 Excellent
Pros: The price
Cons: Was a little noisy at night. Sounded like the plumbing

Cons: Room was clean great location quiet
8.0 Excellent
Pros: They room was really nice and staff was friendly. Only thing I didn't like was they put the tipping envelope in my bag that I left open in my room on the dresser. I thought it was unprofessional to put it in my spot. On the bed would have been better. So after that we just left the do not disturb sign the rest of our stay.
6.0 Good
Pros: Room was nice and up to date. Only stayed 1 night
Cons: I was told it was only 10 min from the beach. It's much further
10.0 Excellent
Pros: The hotel room was clean and didn't smell like smoke and both the night staff and morning staff were extremely friendly and courteous. I would recommend this place to anyone and I will definitley stay here again!
2.0 Mediocre
Cons: Got a crank call at 11pm that there might be bed bugs on our floor and to strip the beds in the morning and put the sheets in the hall for the maid. Pretty ridiculous since there were no halls just an outside walkway. Needless to say I never got back to sleep, considered leaving then and just driving home. Demanded a refund the next morning and was offered two 15% off vouchers on my next stay. As if I would ever stay there again. Granted it was a prank, but we won't be back.
9.1 Excellent
Pros: Staff was very nice.
Cons: The cheese
