It is more than 10 times that my wife and I visit Rome, the area in which we have been and the most fascinating area for us. This time we were really disappointed with the structure where we spent our first night. I would not like to offer anyone, but with the standards that the managers give away, they are ruining the idea of the quality and reception of Roman accommodation structures - the persistent stink in the room that comes from the bathroom, the feeling of dampness, the ruined keyboard of the bed and white furniture it looked gray - you have to change gentlemen, excuse me for being so straightforward but you're not on the level of being in this market. For breakfast I don't write anything because it was a Guest House and from our experience that I don't have to serve in the morning, I just added that the coffee machine didn't work but it does nothing but there are better bars around. We have always spent the rest of our stay in the area, on Viale Delle Milizie in a B&B but the quality gentlemen at high levels then with real breakfast and tasty Roman coffee thanks. Mags and Will
May be breakfast could have been better :) otherwise stay was perfect! Owner was very good.
Very close to the Vatican and public transport. Plenty of eating places and a fresh food market across the road.
For those who like watching tv, there are no English speaking channels.
Old hotel and terrible service. I had a horrible experience with hotel Vatican City Holidays. At 11:30pm we took showers to prepare for sleep. The hotel room had a leak from a broken pipe and half the room was under water including half the bed. There was water also all around the electrical extension plug that was running the refrigerator, coffee machine, and air conditioner. All of which were running while the plugs sat in water. We had to use towels to capture dirty water on the floor and ring them out in the toilet. The hotel manager came only after 40 minutes. He was not prepared to handle problems at all. He said that he can’t reach anyone at booking.com to help our situation and he can agree only to give us the price we paid for the room one month ago. As you guess for the price you book a room a month ago, you can’t find same service at midnight of the same day. We tried to call too booking.com but no one answer. We spend money for international call just waiting on phone. By now it’s after midnight and we have no place to stay. We had to take a hotel with lower category. I have asked booking to refund our money back, but still no result.
Amazing host, eager to help us, very clean room, 5 minutes from Vatican museums, close to metro and 1 minute walk from the bus station that can take you anywhere in the city. Definitely recommend it and i would book it again!!!
