The breakfast was superb. Good quality food: fresh croissants, pain au chocolat, bread and freshly squeezed orange juice.
Fantastic 8 night stay! We loved our stay! We stayed in the deluxe room with kitchenette-it was beautifully decorated, the kitchenette was well-stocked and we were always warm and comfortable! Our king-sized bed was awesome - we really appreciated the cozy linens. The large bathroom with walk-in shower was well-appointed with top quality bath sheets and towels, the shower provided great water pressure and immediate hot water. Breakfasts were yummy with breads, pastries, cheese, meat, eggs, yogurt and fruit as well as coffee and freshly squeezed juice. As you can see, we loved staying here! Best of all, Charlotte and Nico are amazing hosts! From our warm welcome on our first evening, each and every time we chatted they were smiling, warm, friendly and helpful, always eager to help with directions and info! We were exploring World War 1 sites during our week here and found the location perfect!
We loved everything!
Great, fresh, and healthy breakfast. Nice and very clean room and complete bathroom. Very good beds. Excellent and very friendly hostess, nothing is too much for her to make your stay comfortable and pleasant. Covered and safe carpark. Location good but could be a bit to far from Arras city for some people if you want to walk. By car just 10 min and there are plenty of parking facilities in the city.
Carpark could sometimes cause a problem as it's first in, last out system.
Good breakfast. Comfy bed. Good reception from Nicholas who was very helpful. Garage parking very good. Handily placed 10 minutes from motorway.
En-suite has no door only a curtain. No restaurant within walking distance its a three mile drive into Arras and the restaurants there in the main squares are primarily burger bars and pizza places. Please note L'Olivier is not a hotel but rooms in a private house. The owners work and access is not available until 6pm.
Very charming and likeable host, who answers very friendly and patiently every possible question, gives great tips, what to do, to see and eat. She even booked us a table in a restaurant, after finding out, which one would be perfect for us ( and it was). Very cosy, clean and quiet room. Fantastic breakfast with fresh fruit and even cold cuts. The center of Arras can be reached in less than 10 Minutes by car.
Located in Saint-Laurent-Blangy, L'Olivier is in a rural location, a 2-minute drive from Nautical Base of Saint-Laurent-Blangy and 5 minutes from Grand Place. Free self parking is available onsite.
