The room/apartment was small but comfortable. It was perfect for one person. The bed was softer than I'm used to, but it was comfortable. I slept well all 4 nights, so no complaints. The window faced the street, but it was quiet, very little traffic. I would consider staying here again.
The exterior of the building looks fairly shabby and the gate into the courtyard was a little hard to manage sometimes. I saw other people struggling with it, too. The entryway into the apartment building has an unfinished concrete floor and is poorly lit, so when I first walked in, I was a little concerned. I'm not sure how much control the apartment owners have over this, but another light as you walk in the building's door would be an improvement..
The apartment is very nice and clean.
It was difficult to get the keys. I called the whole morning by the number from booking.com, but there was an answering machine. And the text was on Russian. They answered only after two pm. And finally brought me the keys and very clean towels.
