Location, breakfast, helpful staff
A very nice boutique hotel in the very heart of the city. 5 minutes' walk to the Palace Square, a stone's throw to any major attractions. The rooms are small, but neat and clean. Despite its central location, this place is really quite.
The shower was a bit tricky, but tolerable.
Location Free wi-fi
Not easy to recognize entering doors from the street. Odor (moulds) in the toilet. Not self serving breakfast, very limited choices.
No services, amenities or water. Should have been better maintained.
The room was ok, location was great. Breakfast was acceptable, they bring it to your own room in the morning at a time you decide the day earlier.
The staff don't talk any English, and they won't register you as a legitimate guest within the Russian government. In fact, there's a document, provided to the hotel by the FMS (Federal Migration Service) once tourists are registered and taxes paid. The hotel I have stayed after the Admiral Mini requested this kind of paper to check me in, and, despite I have asked the Admiral Mini Hotel's staff this document through several means (by email, by Whatsapp, even by phone as I have asked a Russian speaker to call them and help me out) I never got a written reply, while on the phone they denied to send any document and hanged up on the Russian speaker. That's inacceptable from an hotel host, and made my stop in the next hotel a nightmare as I was somehow an illegitimate tourist and had to find a new accomodation. I WOULD NOT RECOMMEND staying in such an hotel if you want some piece of mind and no troubles with Russian bureacracy.
Located in St. Petersburg (St. Petersburg City Centre), Mini hotel Admiral is within a 10-minute walk of Palace Square and Kazan Cathedral.
