Pros: Most of them that I've stayed in before were way nicer, but in bigger cities and had many more amenities but for peoria il, it was okay, had a pool and free breakfast bar in the morning, could have more food for the bf bar though, it is in a somewhat convient area, if i would have found the wingate or holiday inn express before, i defiently would have chosen them first, or almost any other nicer place for that matter. The room was decent sized, but not what i would consider a suite.. house cleaning didnt do a very good job and had to call and ask numerous times before they came up. Only one person of the staff that I met was friendly, the others seemed stuck up and rude, which I find very odd for a cheap end hotel people at the Trump, or Caesers palace, langham, plazzo, Venetian, waldorf astoria, didn't even act like that, they could at least do their job and make people feel comfortable, or valuable for that matter. They, all but one, didn't seem professional or take their job seriously. Very dissatisfied with the services. Won't recommend to friends family or co-workers.

They need new management new employees and maybe air out rooms from a smoke and musty smell. Stayed for 5 days and am very unhappy. All but one person needs to stay working there.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Staff was very friendly at check in. This was my only interaction with another person at the hotel. The building overall is a little old, but it is still in good condition, and I felt safe, and the rooms were clean. Upon getting to my room, I was pleased with how large the room was, as well as the bathroom. There is good work space and a couch. I didn't use the pool so I can't speak to that. I booked based solely on price, and thought I could roll the dice based on the mixed reviews, which after staying here, many negative ones are unfair. I will definitely remember this location for my travels to Peoria.
Cons: The only negative is that they are working on their kitchen remodel, so they don't have breakfast set up; however, they did offer free breakfast at Perkins, which is in the same lot (maybe 50 steps from the hotel). So it's really not a negative as they make an attempt to accommodate. I did notice a "smell" in the hallway, but it smelled like a cleaning agent and not "urine" like some of the other posters.
5.7 Okay
Cons: The bed was really.. bad. Very uncomfortable and didn T get any sleep..

Cons: Great Kayak would book us at a hotel that had been sold out for at least a day. Then when I called, was put on hold for at least 25 min. I finally hung up. Better not get chargEd!

Cons: The breakfast could have been better.

Pros:
6.0 Good
Pros: The pool was good and the rooms were clean.
Cons: Went to check in at 200pm and lady said there were no clean rooms in the hotel. Kind of shocked an hour before check in. We stayed 1 night and we went to the pool in the morning to find the same garbage on the floor from a huge party the night before. At breakfast we were told there were no more eggs and it was only 2 hours into the 4 hour breakfast. I would say our stay was average for a marriott hotel.

4.5 Okay
Pros: Room was remodeled.
Cons: Wi-Fi service in the building was horrible. I had a non smoking room, however the whole building to include my room smelled like a smokers paradise. It doesn't help that housekeeping smokes while cleaning the room. My sheets and bed covers in my non smoking room had several cigarette burns and holes in them. Every single time the A/C would turn on all you would smell in the room is a musty mold smell. The building is also locked up tight like a jail. I am sure that you need a high security clearance just to get into the building. It really makes you feel that you are living in a really trashy part of town. Value for money wasn't bad, however I am sure that you could find something better for the money.

7.7 Good
Pros: I like that the hotel was clean and staff was very helpful. It was nice that there was a computer and printer that was easy to use while we stayed.
Cons: The indoor pool was not operational the time that we stayed there, this was very disappointing as it was the number one reason we choose this hotel to let the kids swim indoors. They did offer us to use a neighboring hotels pool, but it was less than 35 degrees outside and no way was I letting the kids walk outside wet in those temperatures.
9.7 Excellent
Pros: The front desk was fantastic and quick to respond. We had a couple problems involving the reservation and room; they wrapped them up right away with great aplomb, pleasantness and humor. Would absolutely go back.

Pros: Clean room, comfortable bed, friendly staff. Pool and hot tub were nice, design seems fairly modern. The room was nice and quiet.

5.0 Okay
Pros: Price and location.
Cons: The walls are paper thin. Every time someone in the room next to mine flushed the toilet or ran the sink a loud rumble would come from the wall. It was loud enough to wake me up. Don't expect a good night's sleep here.
6.0 Good
Pros: Breakfast was good. Being able to park outside the room was handy.
Cons: Humidity level in room was terrible even with air conditioner on. Paper and clothes felt damp. No exhaust fan in bathroom. TV reception was poor. When asked staff about TV was told someone would come and check on it but no one came.
4.0 Okay
Cons: The room was small. The pillows were awful. They ran out of breakfast before the time allowed was over. What was left did not look appetizing at all.
8.8 Excellent
Pros: The night staff was very courteous and, though it was obviously he was new, tried very hard to make sure my stay was comfortable. I was surprised by the options at breakfast -- eggs, biscuits and gravy and self-serve waffles, as well as the usual muffins, bagels and orange juice.
Cons: It took a while to actually check-in as my reservation had been misplaced. To be fair, I had booked through an online aggregator site only a few hours before checking in. The heat in my room was turned off when I arrived, but it was easy to turn it up and the room was toasty in no time.
8.0 Excellent
Pros: Excellent value for the cost. Breakfast was surprisingly extensive and good. Friendly staff. Rooms were good sized
Cons: A bit round about to find the place.
8.8 Excellent
Pros: I've stayed here on several occasions. Great facility for the time that we spent there. Others in the area were either too run-down or too expensive.
Cons: The route taken to get to the hotel is sometimes a headache since there is no road leading directly to it. You actually need to use the Northwoods Mall road to get there.
8.0 Excellent
Pros: comfortable, friendly staff, great rate.
Cons: not easy to get to. outside entrance to rooms.
9.4 Excellent
Pros: comfortable. friendly staff.
Cons: difficult to locate.
9.7 Excellent
Pros: THe bed was very comfortable and there were so many pillows, it felt luxurious on a pauper's pay. Hot breakfast served every morning with hours until 9am and delicious.
Cons: The rooms are soundproof to the street but not between the rooms. It's not very bad except, the toilet flushing is the loudest thing I have ever heard and I was able to count how many times and when my neighbor went to the bathroom.
3.7 Mediocre
Pros: Its the cheapest hotel with a pool in the area. staff was friendly
Cons: Humidity level in room was terrible even with air conditioner on. Paper, bed and clothes felt damp. No exhaust fan in bathroom. TV reception was poor. When asked staff about TV was told someone would come and check on it but no one came. had to call twice to get shower fixed. all vending machines eat money.

2.0 Mediocre
Pros: Absolutely nothng to like about the place. Felt unsafe. People walking around shirtless. The room is dirty.
Cons: Accidentally reserved a smoking room by mistake. Staff did not transfer me to non- smoking. Had credit card issues, night staff was blaming me instead of just saying "we will try to fix it".
5.1 Okay
Cons: The room I was first assigned smelled smokey and they changed me to another room no problem. The next room was permeated with some type of cleaning solution. I could not sleep that night. It made my head spin. I tried airing out the room, which helped, but they came in during the day when I was out and used the same smelly cleaning solution. I aired out the room again which helped so I could at least sleep that night. Not could for someone who has allergies or breathing problems. I will not stay there again.
7.7 Good
Pros: I liked the room and the location. It was a nice bed and overall, I enjoyed my stay at Red Roof. My room was clean and comfortable.
Cons: I didn't like that I didn't have a fridge or microwave available for my use. Those are usually big parts of me wanting to stay at a hotel.
3.1 Mediocre
Pros: Nothing
Cons: Roaches Dirty towels Drugged out thugs wandering around outside A pit bull chased me Bathtub doesn't drain while taking a shower. Was water coming up from floor board Disgusting
6.2 Good
Pros: Rooms were remodeled with laminate wood floors, new paint, comfortable mattress
Cons: At some point, the room was used for smoking customers, and no amount of re-painting can get rid of the ashtray smell that lingers. Since the cost of the room was cheap, other clientele were rude and obtrusive.
3.7 Mediocre
Pros: Nothing.
Cons: They had my reservations saved under someone else’s name and wouldn’t give me my reservations. Making my card and phone number linked to someone else’s room. Making us late for our concert and charged us for a room that was a non smoking room at a smoking price. So we still got over charged.
2.0 Mediocre
Cons: Cigarette smoke in nonsmoking room, they tried to mask it with air freshener. We had to leave and they did not give us refund.

2.8 Mediocre
Pros: The location was close to the local mall and very easy to find. Plenty of restaurants nearby and right off the highway.
Cons: The room we initially received was not the room we booked and it reeked of smoke. After a 15 min debate with the front desk about the accuracy of my description, we were moved to the room that we booked. The room seemed decent at first but after settling in we realized that there were no toiletries (soap, shampoo, etc.) There were one medium sized bath towel and one face towel for to adults and a child. The toilet bowl was dirty and the sliding door to the toilet/shower was covered in mold. We would have switched hotels but there were no available rooms for the holiday weekend. Oh, and I totally gashed my leg on the exposed bed frame at the edge of the bed. This was one of the absolute worst hotel stays.
