Polosaty Hostel

The interior is quite old fashioned in a good way and colorful. It's always clean there - with bare feet I wasn't collecting any crumbs or dust from the floor.

Polosaty’s staff is very friendly, opened and kind. Thank you for the electric stove (it’s rare in Saint-Petersburg). The personnel is friendly but not too much, the guests are mostly too - whether you like chatting/meeting new people or not, it's respected, so you will most likely feel comfortable.

My bed was felt comfy, but nothing exceptional. The breakfast need some improvement, but the bed is fine.

Polosaty is perfectly located for Russians because it's just 10min walk from the railway station, it's at the center of the city and also near the subway (again, 10min walk to the same direction).

The water pressure in the shower could be better for hot water. Some guests mentioned very high prices and no good location as their bad experience.

If you plan to arrive early, contact the hostel in advance for instructions on how to enter, as the reception operates from 10 am to 10 pm.
