comfort in real wild nature
Exceptionally beautiful location and views from the room. Pool and beach were lovely and relaxing. Best massage I've ever had and galloping along the beach at sunset was a highlight.
Food menus, activities and spa extortionately overpriced considering the rest of Nicaragua. Standard of food did not warrant >$30 per main and onsite activities should be free of charge (a tour of the farm was around $30 pp)
We traveled the word but this place is something unique. There are just few villas that were constructed to blend in the environment and not cause too much stress to the nature and wildlife. Beach is just amazing 1,5 km wide with the river estuary right in the middle of it. Before arriving we were a little bit stressed to sleep in the room with no windows, just mosquito nets surrounded by the jungle, but waking up with the spectacular view over an empty beach is just out of this world. All the staff is completely amazing just like most of the Nica people. Everyone really enjoys doing their job and is extremely happy when their guests are happy. We liked our turtle watching tour and enjoyed horseback riding. Massages in spa at the beach are amazing as well as all the food in the resort. We especially liked the breakfast and dinner menus that were changing daily. Even though the resort is isolated and there is no cellphone reception, wifi works better than in most of the city hotels.
that we had to leave
Rooms were amazing and I had a private plunge pool, massage therapists were awesome, and the restaurant staff couldn’t have been friendlier. You’re one with nature when you come here.
Lots of stairs and gets really dark at night and of lots of critters - raccoons, monkeys which sound scary at night when you’re not used to the sounds.
Excellent staff & location. Great beach. Calm.
I liked everything. A warning thou for those who can't do stairs.
