10.0 Excellent
Pros: Great staff willing to help with everything!
7.9 Good
Pros: Very nice room in attic space with views over the rooftops. Very reasonably priced minibar and well appointed bathroom with a good sized bath. Comfortable beds too. We ate in the restaurant for dinner and it was fine, perfectly good food but not ‘gastronomico’.
Cons: Room very hot and air conditioning was ineffective in cooling the room. Velux windows had to be opened overnight. What we didn’t realise was that nearby church bells chimed every fifteen minutes throughout the night. As if this wasn’t bad enough, the street noise outside went on until around 4am. Very little sleep that night as a result and when we went to bed one of the beds had no undersheet! Such a shame when the hotel looked like it was in a quiet little square. We won’t stay there again because of the noise.
9.6 Excellent
Pros: Superb room and excellent restaurant. Location near ideal - close to cathedral but very quiet.
Cons: Shower in bath needs handles fixed to back wall to make it safer for elderly.

8.3 Excellent
Pros: Lucia is very friendly and helpful. She explains the different locations of churches and places to have a good meal.
Cons: We are not young any longer and it really makes us difficult to go upstairs, especially after a whole day of walking. The location is good as it is very near the Cathedral but it tends to be a bit noisy outside at night and the church bell wakes me in the middle of the night and every hour I think. Apart from these, everything is wonderful.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Excellent location
Cons: Nothing
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Next door to the cathedral. When I wanted to extend my stay here, very helpful to make that happen. Helpful in figuring out transport back to Santiago from Finisterre. Everything was great.
8.8 Excellent
Pros: The room and bathroom are spotless and very welcoming. The location is great. The host is lovely and very helpful.
Cons: Unfortunately, the windows from my room faced one of the busiest street with restaurants, which open for dinner at 8pm....The noise of the street was high and continuous till 3am in the morning. Not even the ear plugs could help. So despite having a lovely comfort in the room, the night was sleepless.
9.2 Excellent
Pros: Bright comfy and clean. If my arm was a little longer I could touch the cathedral.
Cons: Noise, as located in a busy area, although this was also a bonus.
8.8 Excellent
Pros: Very friendly & helpful stuff. The hotel has perfect localization. If you are traveling by car the closest parking is San Clemente.
10.0 Excellent

Cons: Check in ends at 15:30.
7.0 Good
Pros: We really liked this hotel. Perfect location to walk everywhere and even though it’s in the best part of town it is still quiet at night.
Cons: We booked it because it said parking was included on the premises. It’s actually in a garage a few minutes away. The parking cost us 17 for 24 hours because they count the next morning as a different day.

Pros: Greeted by friendly young lady Clean modern Bedding top of line Shared bathroom had all amenities and was super clean
Cons: Too many stairs after a long walk on Camino

Pros: Lovely quiet location and surroundings set in the middle of forests but handy for visit to Santiago. Very good meals on the whole in very atmospheric setting. The chef attended each table and talked to the diners about the menu, quite unusual but appreciated.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Everything was just excellent. We had two wonderful dinners and the place is more like a country house than an hotel
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Beautiful location, lovely walk down to the river, fabulous suite, great food both breakfast and dinner.
Cons: Nothing!
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Situated 4.5kms along a single track road in 14.000m2 woodland above a fishing river, this place is like a small Parador, only far more personal. It is in an XVIII farmhouse and outbuildings restored to the highest standard. It is managed by the owners and activities such as white water rafting, cycling, guided walks are available. 11kms from Santiago de Compostella heaving with hikers, it is an oasis of peace and tranquility. About 30kms from the beautiful Galician coast.
Cons: Evening meal at 9pm. Too late for oldies! Breakfast at 9am, too late for a prompt start.
7.9 Good
Pros: Incredible and unique location and property. Friendly helpful employees. Good value meals.
Cons: I would not recommend bringing your dog as we did. The hotels dogs run around loose which would be fine if it weren't including a heavy unspayed female who refused to leave our dog alone the entire time. We could not even let him out for a pee without being jumped on. We had politely informed the owners several times but they seemed very flippant about it and did nothing. Dogs mating is a very serious thing that needs to be carried out under supervision. Its a shame to say we spent most of our holiday unable to relax and enjoy the gardens and surrounding areas, having to constantly watch the dogs and try to keep them separate as the owners did not care. Sadly this resulted in an expensive trip to the vets for our dog on our last day due to issues the night before and all our plans for the final day out the window. The owners were fully aware but not so much as an apology or even an enquiry as to whether our dog was ok. A real shame to have had our stay ruined by something that could have been so easily avoided with a little more responsibility and care.

Pros: Great location and pretty amazing facility. We asked to get in before 3:00 since we had just walked in from the Camino at 10am but they wouldn’t budge. Hard to believe they couldn’t have gotten a room ready around noon or so. Otherwise we were satisfied.

Pros: This was a beautiful hotel just around the corner from the Cathedral. they had 24 hour hospitality lounge with coffee, food and drinks.
Cons: I booked three rooms for three people, for three nights. We arrived at different times. We were not in the same location... I was put in what I called the dungeon. Room 12. No actual windows to the outside. The room is in the basement. When opening the window it opened to a wall. Avoid rooms 10, 11 and 12. I was told I could change rooms the next day, but when I asked to change the room, the hotel refused to change my room. Other than that, it was a Beautiful hotel and my friends really enjoyed their rooms.

Pros: Almost everything, especially the 24/7open bar
Cons: I love everything but you could always improve with more different fruits and vegetables or more variety in the food bar. Maybe some water and tea in the room
9.6 Excellent
Pros: Stayed here for 2 nights at end of Camino- unbelievably convenient mere steps from Cathedral- very trendy boutique hotel- exceptionally clean -the all day breakfast buffet was just so welcome- never saw such a concept before. Totally recommend although the convenience has a downside with very late night revelers- totally out of hotels control but we got around it by cranking up the AC.
Cons: The young lady that checked us in could perhaps “smile” occasionally- very dour although efficient!
7.1 Good
Pros: The facility is new and the room is clean and comfortable.
Cons: The service of luggage storage is bad. We leave just one day and plan to return one day latter as we go to Muxia. The hotel doesn’t allow to store our luggage and the inconvenience is caused.

9.2 Excellent
Pros: Very good standard of everything. Views were great, it was quite, clean, spacious, cannot fault my stay.
Cons: I was happy with everything.

7.5 Good
Pros: the hosts were welcoming and friendly and did everything they could for us our room was a lovely style of old and modern combined and very big it is quite close to a park where we could spend some relaxed time outside there was lots for breakfast, bread, cake, yoghurts and fruit
Cons: quite a long walk down and up a hill into the cathedral square, we are fit but found this tiring after the camino in particular if you want to pop back during the day, the walk took about 15 minutes the owner family socialized in the dining area of the hotel on an evening and this was noisy in our room I don't think this went on until late though but I did go to sleep with ear plugs in at 10 I thought compared to nice hotels in the centre of town we had paid quite a lot
7.5 Good
Pros: Staff is exceptionally helpful, warm and kind. Room was great and position is perfect. They also serve a good quality breakfast. Very impressive
9.6 Excellent
Pros: Well organised, well located, clean comfortable and homely.
Cons: All ok
10.0 Excellent
Pros: The location was just right, just outside the busy centre, and therefore affording a beneficial and pleasant walk from/to our apartments, as well as ensuring quieter evenings and undisturbed sleep (the hotels in the city centre are known to suffer from late night 'rowdiness'). Our rooms were spotless, and cleaned to a high standard every day. Our hosts, led by Santi, were always friendly, caring, and responsive around all our needs. As a family of four, it was important to have breakfast included, and this was a very generous offering indeed, with a wide range of produce, too long to list here, but suffice to say, it set us up for the day's hectic schedule of sightseeing or excursions. When we had to miss breakfast, to get onto a coach trip to Fisterra (Cape Finisterre), our host Santi carefully prepared a packed breakfast, ready to take with us the next morning - this was really appreciated and went down very well during the first stages of the journey. Each evening on our return, exhausted, our hosts were ready to supply us with large bottles of cold mineral water, as we ascended the steps wearily to our rooms. Thank you Santi, for answering all our queries and for looking after us during our stay in Santiago !
9.6 Excellent
Pros: Kind staff! Delicious breakfast!
Cons: Thoroughly enjoyed our stay! No complaints!
9.2 Excellent

10.0 Excellent
Pros: The staff were so friendly, welcoming & kind & went out of their way to help. The guest house is really lovely, very comfortable, beautifully designed & in a great location, near parks & the city centre. The breakfast was brilliant - so much food!
Cons: There wasn’t anything I didn’t like. It was all fabulous!
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Santiago and his family were so kind and helpful. Upon first arriving he set me up with a map highlighting the restaurants that offer free tapas and other recommendations for my visit. The room was lovely with a nice view of the garden, a comfortable bed and a nice and clean bathroom. It’s a 10-15 minute (beautiful) walk to the hub of the old town. The location makes it easy to get everywhere without having to stay in the more crowded and noisy streets within the old city. I highly recommend this place!
7.5 Good
Pros: Nice old house, perfectly renovated and nice living area downstairs, nice staff.
Cons: A bit away from the old town directly at a street the location was so-so. Breakfast was on the (lower) spanish standard site.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: The staff were extremely helpful and friendly ... room was immaculate and great location

9.2 Excellent
Cons: The mattress was a bit hard for me. I was able to get comfortable enough though to have a good nights sleep.
9.2 Excellent
Pros: We loved spending our final night on the Camino just outside of Lavacolla. Being approx 10kms from Santiago, meant we got a relaxed start in the morning. We felt spoilt and we'll looked after with a quiet room, a bath (so, so relaxing!) a fabulously comfortable bed and dinner on site. Taking the Vilamaior road to rejoin the trail meant we didn't need to backtrack into Lavacolla.
Cons: Nothing.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: The place is amazing! It”s like a Relais Chateou for a fraction of the price. And the owner is so kind and generous. He picked me up in the Camino and even sent to me in Santiago de Compostela earrings that I have forgotten there. Wonderful food and beautiful place
10.0 Excellent

10.0 Excellent
Pros: The location is fantastic! The food is the best we’ve eaten in Spain.
Cons: Nothing negative
8.8 Excellent

10.0 Excellent
Pros: This hotel is a lot more spacious and modern than most hotels in Santiago. If you don’t mind the 10 minute walk into town it’s perfect. The pool and sauna facilities were nicely kept and the staff were friendly.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Very nice way to end our Camiño
Cons: Our scenic view room was a view of nothing!
10.0 Excellent
Pros: This place was airy and clean. Beds very comfy. Food excellent. Staff very nice and helpful.
Cons: There was some green along the far edge of the pool which put me off even though I knew it was clean. No other fault that I saw.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: The breakfast selection was superb. The only problem we experienced was the eggs we ordered - mine was cold and my sister never received hers. Better thus to only eat from the buffet.
Cons: More staff in the dining room.
5.8 Okay
Pros: Comfortable bed and nice bathroom Great breakfast
Cons: Not enough staff Pool surrounded by discarded towels and no one to clear up No spa - I had a massage and it was done in a hair salon with all the furniture pushed back- really not relaxing environment- also would be good to be told that the masseur was male
7.1 Good
Pros: Friendliness of staff, Open and airy lobby.
Cons: Room smelled of smoke Could hear noises from room above Room service food was tasty but cold Pool facilities were dated and no attendant
9.6 Excellent
Pros: The hotel is modern, comfortable, and well equipped. The room was very clean and neatly laid out, with a large TV, espresso capsule coffee maker, shower, and a desk. The hotel has a gym (24 hours), and a swimming pool with a spa and steam room, opening hours 0700-2200). The hotel let me check in early and the sauna was empty both times I used it (1400 and 2100). Between the comfort of the room and the sauna, this hotel was a treat after completing the Camino.
Cons: The hotel is a modern and fully equipped, the only downside is that it is a fifteen minute walk outside the old centre. Additionally, breakfast wasn't included in the room rate which wasn't clear from the hotel and room profile. Breakfast would have been ~€14 if I had booked it at the hotel. The internet connection was slow. The sauna doesn't have water for housing the coals and has a mechanism for setting the heat that requires some experimentation (setting the heat to maximum, as I imagine most people do leads to the sauna getting intolerably hot).
9.2 Excellent
Pros: The room was very comfortable and the included breakfast was amazing.
Cons: The shower area had some areas of mold that needed to be scrubbed out of the tile grout. I just wouldn’t expect that from a 5 star hotel. Easy fix on their part!
7.5 Good
Pros: Breakfast was fine. Plenty of selection and food was replenished well. However, you had to order eggs and that was a disaster!
9.2 Excellent
Pros: Breakfast

5.8 Okay
Pros: Restaurant and staff at bar were great.
Cons: We had an issue with the thermostat in our room. We were unable to change the setting. When we spoke with staff at desk we were told if it was too cold we should turn off air. This resulted in a stuffy room. Therefore, our room was always uncomfortable, either too cold or too hot.
