Read plenty of terrible reviews prior to picking up and had me quite scared. The car was practically new, no issues, easy returning and what they do use in the dark parking lot is a small flashlight to see if there are any issues. No issues easy peasy. Make sure you use an Amex for protection and take pictures and video of car upon rental for evidence in case of anything…but we do this everywhere regardless. A+

Driving was very easy. Other cars were very respectful and everyone seemed to follow the rules. Parking on the street is hard to find but parkades were plentiful. Highway driving was well signed and it was easy to follow the on board navigation.

If your intention is to travel around the countryside and through the small villages, my suggestion is to hire either a mini or economy car. We hired a mid sized crossover and it was just too big for the narrow streets.

Cons:

They didn’t have the car we wanted so we ended up with a 9 seater van which wasn’t a problem for us but it wasn’t the easiest thing to drive!

Terrible. 2 hours to pick up the car with only 1 person at the counter and then charged 260 euro for 2 small nicks on back bumper less than a centimeter big that I have no way of knowing if they were there from the start because we were in such a hurry to leave.
