Mornington Hotel Sitiawan

The staff is very nice. The room is clean and comfortable. Easy access to the sitiawan town. Great transit Hotel. In front of the hotel have small restaurant. Easy to find food. Overall is a good stay, the room facilities have all the things that Hotel required like Aircond, Water heater, Towels, amenities, etc. Great location, friendly staff and nice room. I always repeat once I go back to my hometown. Friendly and helpful staff. Strategic place. There is bathtub for deluxe room. The room is spacious and comfortable for us with 3 young children. And also there is big balcony outside. In front of hotel, there is Malay food restaurant, the food is quite delicious and affordable. Overall okay. Clean rooms, friendly staffs and convenient location. Value for money.

Bad customer service. Air condition was noisy. Parking is terrible and not safe. Poor WiFi. All good. The bed not that comfort as it’s make noise when you move. Parking not convenience due to wet soil. My bed is squirky and not stable, bathroom shower room water splashes out cos no proper door. The whole hotel have smells when stand at diff location. In room they might have just done painting work, after clearing off the room with lots of febreze end up is smoking smell. Dust and rust can be seen around. Staff should address customer in proper way. Having 2 young kids age 9 yrs old doesn't mean I'm old enough to be called UNCLE. Please teach your staff in addressing i.e Encik or Puan. The bedsheet got stain and the towels are not clean enough. The "gangster" receptionist who forgotten to check the system if i had paid or not as she was busy talking on the phone which was not work related. she called me to go down back to the lobby after i have entered my room and made payment and her exact words, "aku lupa kau belum bayar lagi. kau boleh turun sekarang bayar tak?". too speechless to even responded to that sort of customer service. TV has no signal, the rest still ok. Dead town. The counter staff are tricky and helpful. The house-keeping staff, however, are not very good at what they are doing. I had specifically instructed that cleaning my room and supply of fresh towels were not required and only to provide the daily hotel provision of bottled drinking water. However, water was not provided even after specific request to the counter staff. Annoying noise from the roadside food store which operates business till 2am. The bed slipped one side down in the humid smells accompanied by a dim light. I’m happy they have a jacuzzi bath tub, but could you imagine when you stepped into the bathtub and saw the equipments are rusted? Well, in conclusion, it’s really not worth it at all. ? The facility is relatively old and run-down. The toiletries are lack in quantity and quality. The shower room causes the whole bathroom to be wet. The bathroom lighting is near the beds and the illumination is too bright for sleeping. The air-cond is too near to the beds and blow-direct to the guests. The wifi is terribly slow. TV spoiled, Bed frame spoiled, Wall have leaking spot looks spooky. Musty smell. to improve on the maintenance. not really worth for the money even after the special discount.

Nice room & got superb nice hot shower. Consider is good location on this small town, drive 5min out can get local famous food , 10 min go morning market. The hotel environment is clean and the room is big and tidy. There are also car park available for guest who stay in the hotel.
