It sits in the midst of the lush vegetation of the El Salvadorean coastline and on a pristine beach with golden-white sand. Cons (-) Vehicle wait, outside of hotel property upon arrival can be an hour or more...check-in makes you feel like a herd of animals...very low class to say the least. The only meal we enjoyed (of the 7 we ate) was an a la carte dinner at the Thai restaurant (now combined with another "theme" restaurant, both having their menus reduced greatly). Pros (+) Pools, local animals, staff was very friendly.
Cons (-) Check in procedure was awful. They have a time you can enter, if you arrive early, you have to sit in your car in the sun until they open the gate. Then, it's very confusing on how to check in. I felt like I was checking in to a prison. You cannot enjoy the ocean waves because of the rocks!!
