Pros: It's in kind of a nice location. The room was clean and we had access to the deck from a back door unlike several other rooms. The staff was very nice and welcoming.
Cons: Wifi was terrible. There is no air conditioning in the room so we had to rely on a ceiling fan to keep cool. Didn't really work for us. Nice place but overpriced.
Pros: We had a wonderful stay at Eldora Lodge. The staff was wonderful, the breakfast was excellent and the hot tubs were so relaxing. The staff even offered to wash our laundry if we needed and only asked for a tip at the end of our stay. The rooms were always kept clean and the beds were very comfortable.
Cons: The temperature of the water in the shower was hard to regulate. For my companion, who has sensitive skin, this was a big issue. Otherwise no complaints.
Eldora Lodge at Wondervu is a great choice for a stay in Golden. Free perks include WiFi, self parking, and buffet breakfast daily between 7 AM and 10 AM. A terrace and 2 spa tubs are offered, and rooms have conveniences like refrigerators and microwaves.
Cons: The only downfall of this hotel was the hot tub jets not working.
Pros: The staff was very helpful, and actually very friendly,I showed up very late with one room booked and multiple groups of friends coming in from out of town,Four rooms later at a two room price,Everyone was thrilled.
Cons: Only issue was when we tried to extend our stay for additional nights we were shocked at the actual price for the room to continue our stay.we were forced to move hotels the next day.
Pros: Convenient and great value for Red Rocks. Great shower, great bed, great towels, and ice cream available for purchase after a Red Rocks show. Second hand marijuana smoke does affect you and 2.5 oz of Haagen Daz will cure it.
Cons: Breakfast and coffee ended early.
Pros: Pool. Room size. Outdoor patio. Basketball court.
Cons: Open vanity area right next to main bed. Hard to not wake spouse when I left room early.
Pros: Cleanliness, breakfast and friendly staff
Cons: Not really
Pros: This hotel was BEAUTIFUL!!! It was a suite and had a wonderful kitchenette area fully stocked and a full refrigerator and dishwasher! The room was cozy and elegant. Staff was VERY friendly, helpful and accommodating. Breakfast-included, WONDERFUL!
Cons: There was NOTHING I did not like about this hotel!!!
Pros: The location and the pleasant staff.
Pros: Front desk person was nice.
Cons: At first look thought it looked great. It was a suite which is fine, but the first coffee mug i took out of the cabinet was dirty. 99% sure the hair conditioner was refilled with body lotion.
Pros: Staff was very friendly, room was large with kitchenette. Very clean and very quiet. Bed was comfortable! Slept great!
Cons: The location, not within walking distance to any restaurants or stores. It would have been nice NOT to have to get back into the car again after driving 7 hours. But it is right off of the highway, easy on/off access.
Pros: Clean, modern, great hot breakfast, friendly staff
Pros: Staff was great, rooms were very spacious and very clean. Definitely go back to that hotel.
Pros: Location to Golden and the room itself were great for the whole family.
Cons: The pool area could have been cleaner and the water a tad bit warmer.

Pros: Great location in the heart of Golden. Lots of dining areas with distinct vibes.
Pros: The room was great. Easy access to downtown Golden. Plenty of restaurants within walking distance.
Cons: The staff person who checked me in seemed uninterested in helping me with a room. It seemed I was wasting his time when I inquired about room availability.
Pros: King size bed with lots of pillows, balcony with table and chairs, quiet, loved the all the amenities. Complementary coffee and water was great. Loved the shampoo and lotion. Great place to stay. Nice hotel with old time feel, but modern rooms.
Cons: Side door entrance would not lock after entering, allowing anyone to enter without a card key.
Pros: The decor
Cons: The inability to get to Room 226 from the lobby without having to carry my suitcases up stairs.

This was a trip back in time where I felt like I was living at home. The house is beautiful and the staff made sure that everything was right. The parking was alright n the area. This location is a few blocks from the Coors brewery. The tours there are awesome. I would recommend this Bed and Breakfast to everyone. The price was also reasonable.
Pros: Room was very clean. The staff was very friendly and made me feel at home. The breakfast was better than I experienced at home.
Pros: The hosts were very friendly, and they made a great breakfast too.

Pros: Modern, comfortable, amenities, great location. Excellent catering. Wedding event
Pros: the best is location. the hotel located in golden, where is very peaceful and safty. my friend told me this is the best hotel in golden.
pool would have been good, for the selected area a little too far in the west of Denver, nevertheless a good location
Pros: clean rooms, good hotel
Cons: a little too far in the west of Denver
This is a truly lovely hotel. I think it should be rated higher than 3 stars. I was apprehensive when my bid was accepted on priceline for this hotel, because it was a hotel brand I'd never heard of (i.e. not a Hyatt, Marriott, etc.) But during the course of our travels, we stayed in 7 different hotels - some 2 1/2 stars and some 4 stars - and this one was our favorite. Just lovely - great location, great city, close to great restaurants, quiet, and as mentioned above, the beds were SO comfortable!
Pros: The beds are the most comfortable beds we've ever slept in at a hotel. The atmosphere of this hotel is lovely. Very home-like.
Cons: I wish the hotel had a pool - I don't think it did.
Pros: Location, cleanliness, and staff were good.
Cons: Street and hotel guest noise made it difficult to rest.

Pros: The room was nice and spacious with a small fridge and microwave which were handy. The front desk staff were really nice and helpful. Especially the lady who had moved there from Florida (don't know her name). She was really nice. I also liked that they had a few frozen dinners for sale for when you just wanted a quick something to eat without going out. The location was great also, just a short drive to nice restaurants and the movie theater. Really a nice place with nice people.
Cons: I didn't like being right down the hall from the cafe because I could smell food cooking in the morning and hear people laughing and talking over their breakfast which woke me up.
Pros: The hotel was clean and quiet and had an indoor pool.
Cons: Price was high for two small double beds and breakfast was not included. The pool water was severely burning to eyes - rest of the evening spent periodically flushing eyes out with fresh water after swimming in the afternoon.

Pros: Clean, nice, bright room with cook area (2-berner stove, 4-cup coffee maker, apartment-size refrigerator, dishwasher, and dishes and silverware for two). Food pantry on 1st floor with reasonably-priced snacks and frozen meals for breakfast, lunch and dinner. Free laundry facilities, wifi, coffee, popcorn, and DVD movies. Good daily rate through online deal-seeking service.
Cons: We were stupid: 4 out of 6 dryers in laundry facility were disconnected due to water damage from a leak that was being addressed by a contractor. We didn't realize that 6 washers feeding into 2 available dryers created a bottleneck, which forced us to dry our laundry in our room. In a perfect world, the staff could have hung signs on the washing machines warning of the potential bottleneck for those of us not observant enough to realize the issue, but I'm not going to blame the staff. If we had done our laundry the night before, we wouldn't have been inconvenienced at all.

Pros: The hotel was only a few minutes from my conference location and the hotel location is semi-secluded. The bed was very comfortable, and overall the room was well laid out. The entire staff were very courteous and helpful.
Cons: I think the breakfast menu needs to be expanded, and preparation can be improved.

Cons: Very small bathroom for $185 a night. Single sink.
Pros: The staff was friendly and professional, although some guy who works the restaurant literally chases you down to seat you pointlessly. The location in Golden is close to Red Rocks.
Cons: The hotel is really old and run down for the price. The beds weren't comfy, but most of all, the walls are incredibly thin. Each night we had to call security because the room above or next to us was partying... They weren't even being that loud and you could hear every word they were saying thru the wall.
Pros: The food service/kitchen staff is superb. They will do whatever it takes to make the customer happy.
Cons: I wanted a room a room with a balcony but they allowed me to check in at 11am with no problem.

Cons: No complaints to report
Pros: The check-in was handled quickly and professionally. The desk staff responded to my questions in a knowledgeable and helpful manner. The breakfast buffet consisted of a nice variety of choices, and the coffee was very good, starting our day off well.
Cons: The room had an odor, possibly from an air freshener, which I found a bit unpleasant.

Pros: Front desk ladies were super helpful and friendly. Cared about making our visiting pleasant and seemed genuine about it. Rooms were smaller but clean and overall we were really happy.
Cons: Room said it sleeps 5: 2 adults and 3 children but only had 2 double beds.
Pros: Wonderful gal at the front desk!
Pros: The staff was very friendly. It is great that dogs are welcome. The bed was super comfy!
Cons: Room was modern looking but the bathrooms were run down and old. There were crickets and spiders In Our ground level room. Musty smell.
Pros: really appreciate being able to bring dogs! Nice looking hotel, comfortable inside, enjoyed sitting around the pool.
Cons: Not much room for breakfast and no computor's available for guests
Pros: The customer service at the front desk was excellent.
Cons: The bathroom was a little dirty.
Pros: From the other reviews I expected something a bit more run down, to be honest. And it impressed. Should have been a little less $$$. But hey, it's Colorado...they're capitalizing on the tourism and I can't exactly blame them...
Overall, it was a cool location with outdoor hallways (for lack of a better term). I got a great room in the back of the building farthest from the highway and on the third floor. So that definitely sealed the deal for me on feeling like I got my money's worth. Overall I would stay here again.
Cons: I didn't like that it was so close to the highway, although that's not exactly a fault individual to this particular hotel. It was definitely overpriced. Should have been $20-40 less for the quality. But I'd still recommend it.

Pros: the breakfast bar, pool, and hot tub are the only reason i would go back
Cons: i didnt like the guys attidue towards us at check in
Pros: I liked the size of the room. King bed, the reason to book it was for the jetted bath tub, only if it was in working order. Big enough for two. It did have a sparsely equipped gym room. An indoor pool area. You have to pay extra to use the in room safe if you desire to. Kind of so, so I guess. It has its plus and minus going. Been to better and been to worse places. It's an all walks of life type of place.
Cons: No plug for the in room jet tub. The very reason why I booked the room. The tub could not hold water so, no jet tub experience after a long travel day....The room was an adjoining room and the other people smoked and used incense to mask their party smoke. It reeked of cover up. The key cards were a problem too with them not working after 3 key cards sets issued. It was quite noisey and thin walls. Breakfast was kind of ok. After not being able to relax and enjoy our jet tub for half the night, finally they bring us a plug for the tub many hours later. Then the jets were on (finally). Talk of discounts were offered for all the inconveniences we experienced.
Pros: Location to our competition
Cons: Hard pillows and bed, breakfast wasn't very good, light flashing on the phone no one could fix
Pros: quiet, comfortable beds
Cons: small coffee pot in room - but could go to kitchen area; no private area for business (desktop was adjacent to checkin area & very visible; not conducive to conference call). Safety - if customer slipped on ice in parking lot, you'd have an issue. Could've easily been cleared since snow was 2 days old and such a minor amount for Denver.
Pros: Staff was very friendly.
Cons: Breakfast wasn't very good, pool area was run down, room was not the cleanest, bed was very hard/uncomfortable.
Enjoy hometown hospitality at this smoke-free Baymont Inn and Suites Denver West/Federal Center hotel, just off Highway 6 and close to Interstate 70 in west Denver. Ideal for long stays, the spacious suites feature refrigerator and microwave, and some offer hot tub and sofa-bed. There is no charge for kids 17 and under when accompanied by an adult.
Pros: I liked how friendly the staff was. Very helpful!
Cons: No dislikes
Pros: The shower head had a good flow rate with a variety of settings.
The A/C was strong and effective despite a very hot day.
The bed was comfortable (very subjective, I know!) and seemed quite clean.
Cons: The room had, for me, a funky smell immediately noticeable upon entering. If I hadn't been so tired and if I didn't think that all the rooms probably smelled the same way, I would have asked to change.
I had a choice of first, second, or third floors. I asked if there were ever any complaints about people above and was told there weren't. Against my better judgement and usual choice, I went with the first floor. It was the wrong choice as I could often hear footsteps from above.
If the price had been half of what it was, it would be an okay value. As this was a last minute decision--and a costly one--the value was quite poor. Given the odors, I wouldn't consider this a good value even at half the price.
Pros: The beds were clean and cleaning staff was friendly.
Cons: The hotel was under construction. Very dusty walking on first floor to elevator. Hotel staff not very accommodating, with the exception of the cleaning staff. I would probably try another hotel in the area for my next trip.

Cons: Kind of noisy being next to a main highway. Wish they had some kind of sausage or bacon served with breakfast.
Cons: No complaints
Wish breakfast had more choices
Pros: My mother came in from NM, I came in from NE . She arrived 2 hours before me,when asking the hotel if she could check in instead of me, they were rude and told her nope, not possible. So I called 1800-hotel. They changed everything for me after I explained. With No rudeness or fuss. She went back to check in and the man, was even more rude. Walked to the other side of the counter and didn't ask her to come down. Then requested her Id and cc. So she slid them down the counter to him...Then he said ."how dare you throw your cards at me!!!!" In an distressing voice... She then explained, she slid them to him and he didn't say a word. Then after gathering and inputting everything he left her cards on that end of the counter and didn't hand them to her.... Handed her the room keys and that was it. No thank you for choosing us..No apologies for his crappy behavior.
We never got the crib we requested either, the bathroom had black short hair all over the door and discussing black tape holding the towel rack up! We never use this location again.
Pros: front desk person was kind and offered us another room
Cons: There was a suspicious couple who was obviously not staying there lurking at the door waiting for us to enter so they could get in the building. The bedsheets were on inside out, there was a stain on the blanket. This was touted as a non smoking hotel and there was obviously smoking on the floor where our room was.
We checked out within 20 minutes of checkin.
Pros: Convenient, safe, clean, free Wi-Fi, free breakfast buffet, affordable and great staff.
Cons: Wish the breakfast buffet was open longer on rhe weekend.
Pros: This use to be a nice place to stay. It has gone way down hill.
Cons: Tried to put us in a room that smelled like someone had died. Then I asked for a different room only to get a room that the sheets had not been changed. We have been staying here since 2003 we decided we will not stay here again. What a dump. The breakfast was the worst cup of coffee and a pieceof bread.
Pros: The price was good.
Cons: We didn't like the fact that after one night of staying there and despite the fact that we were leaving the very next morning didn't seem to matter to the owner who made us move to another room so they could rip up the carpet in the room we were in, (which by the way the carpet didn't get ripped out). They put us in a room that had just had the carpet replaced and the smell of the glue was so strong it made me sick to my stomach. I went to the lobby and requested another room. In the process of moving I lost my keys to my car and had to frantically search for them. Luckily I found them. We were told that the owner was the one who insisted we and about 4 other people be moved even though we were all checking out the next day. In my opinion the owner was very inconsiderate and didn't care that he was inconveniencing his guests. We will never stay at this hotel again, nor recommend it to any of our friends. The owner needs to take a course in Guest Relations.
Pros: The bed was good.
Cons: Two large brown stains on the bed spread, the toilet bowl lid was not on correctly. The towels in the bathroom looked like they were thrown there. One of my group member had hair on her bed and the floor was not vac. She went to another room and the floor was messy again and they gave her another room and a maid had to dust mop the wood floor. Cont. Breakfast at 6 AM, not so. I got there at 6:15 and was told to come back shortly. My first time here and my last. Thank you.
Pros: The window opened
Right across from the colorado mills mall
Right down the street from Colorado State Patrol academy ;)
Cons: Dirty room
No refrigerator in room
No microwave in room
Towel rack was half ripped off
Breakfast was not stocked and ended 30 mins early
Elevators are shady
Pros: The on-line reservations were convenient. Overall the stay was good. We checked in very late at night and it was good that there was an employee there and available right away.
Cons: The room could have been cleaner. There was still some sort of sticky substance on the desk area. Perhaps where a soft drink or something had been sat by previous guests. The mirror and sink area was not detailed very well. The only other complaint was the quality and thickness of the pillows. They left some to be desired.
Cons: Smelled funny
