10.0 Excellent
Pros: We had a wonderful stay at Eldora Lodge. The staff was wonderful, the breakfast was excellent and the hot tubs were so relaxing. The staff even offered to wash our laundry if we needed and only asked for a tip at the end of our stay. The rooms were always kept clean and the beds were very comfortable.
Cons: The temperature of the water in the shower was hard to regulate. For my companion, who has sensitive skin, this was a big issue. Otherwise no complaints.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Nice place Nice Views
4.5 Okay
Pros: It's in kind of a nice location. The room was clean and we had access to the deck from a back door unlike several other rooms. The staff was very nice and welcoming.
Cons: Wifi was terrible. There is no air conditioning in the room so we had to rely on a ceiling fan to keep cool. Didn't really work for us. Nice place but overpriced.

Pros: Remote Location. Dinner and breakfast was good and healthy options. Bathrooms were clean. Hots springs great.
Cons: When I woke up on the morning it was -2 deg. Stayed in a yurt. If its freezing with snow I recomend booking a room. Yurt had heaters so we stayed warm fully dressed with 4 blankets. Snow all over plywood floor. Its glorified camping.

6.3 Good
Pros: The decor
Cons: The inability to get to Room 226 from the lobby without having to carry my suitcases up stairs.
9.7 Excellent
Pros: This was THE most friendly, helpful, outgoing group of staff I have ever had the pleasure of interacting with at any hotel, at any price range. Not the fake smiles or overly helpful kind that leaves you feeling a little annoyed, but sincerely ready to help or just talk. Location is excellent in terms of walking around Golden’s restaurants, shops, or over to the School of Mines. Parking is right besides the hotel and free, which is extremely hard to find in Golden. The room was comfortable for two of us in the room, with sufficient space to move around the two queen beds and not feel cramped. Pricing, as with everything in Colorado, seems to be at the upper limit of what’s reasonable, but given that fact it was “Colorado reasonable”.
Cons: While the service was quick, friendly and the facility clean, the food at the hotel restaurant was below average in flavor. Looked good, tasted bland. All quite expensive, as with basically everything in the state.
5.7 Okay
Pros: Location is unbeatable, nice breakfast, great dinner, parking garage
Cons: Room / bathroom dirty, outdated, saggy mattress covered w/ a piece of memory foam
7.1 Good
Pros: The room was great. Easy access to downtown Golden. Plenty of restaurants within walking distance.
Cons: The staff person who checked me in seemed uninterested in helping me with a room. It seemed I was wasting his time when I inquired about room availability.
8.8 Excellent
Pros: Great location in the heart of Golden. Lots of dining areas with distinct vibes.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Right in the middle of Golden. Great price. Clean
Cons: We were on the west side and the view of the air conditioners and alley were not the best, but there could be worse things to complain about.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: King size bed with lots of pillows, balcony with table and chairs, quiet, loved the all the amenities. Complementary coffee and water was great. Loved the shampoo and lotion. Great place to stay. Nice hotel with old time feel, but modern rooms.
Cons: Side door entrance would not lock after entering, allowing anyone to enter without a card key.

8.0 Excellent
Pros: The hotel was only a few minutes from my conference location and the hotel location is semi-secluded. The bed was very comfortable, and overall the room was well laid out. The entire staff were very courteous and helpful.
Cons: I think the breakfast menu needs to be expanded, and preparation can be improved.
7.7 Good
Cons: Everything was great except one overnight gentleman was extremely rude when I asked about parking. He told me I could go find parking on the street if I didn’t like their options. The only other gripe is the beds were very small and I could feel the springs in the pullout couch mattress. Otherwise, the place was clean and the rest of the folks were very nice.

5.7 Okay
Pros: Good location im Golden
Cons: So noisy, can hear people's full conversations from the room next door, the hallway, etc. We were constantly woken up by doors swinging shut and other guests.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Staff was pleasant and competent. Rooms (we had 2) were clean. Restaurant was good for breakfast and late night drinks. What more could you ask for.
Cons: Road noise from the interstate could be annoying early AM.
5.7 Okay
Pros: The staff was friendly and professional, although some guy who works the restaurant literally chases you down to seat you pointlessly. The location in Golden is close to Red Rocks.
Cons: The hotel is really old and run down for the price. The beds weren't comfy, but most of all, the walls are incredibly thin. Each night we had to call security because the room above or next to us was partying... They weren't even being that loud and you could hear every word they were saying thru the wall.
7.7 Good

7.1 Good
Pros: The hotel was clean and quiet and had an indoor pool.
Cons: Price was high for two small double beds and breakfast was not included. The pool water was severely burning to eyes - rest of the evening spent periodically flushing eyes out with fresh water after swimming in the afternoon.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: The room was nice and spacious with a small fridge and microwave which were handy. The front desk staff were really nice and helpful. Especially the lady who had moved there from Florida (don't know her name). She was really nice. I also liked that they had a few frozen dinners for sale for when you just wanted a quick something to eat without going out. The location was great also, just a short drive to nice restaurants and the movie theater. Really a nice place with nice people.
Cons: I didn't like being right down the hall from the cafe because I could smell food cooking in the morning and hear people laughing and talking over their breakfast which woke me up.
8.8 Excellent
Pros: Good rooms

8.0 Excellent
Pros: Rooms/beds were comfortable. The staff asked what I thought of the room and accommodations.
Cons: The cleaning crew were vacuuming the hallway @ 7:30 AM There is not a breakfast. There A/C in my room was quite noisy.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Clean, nice, bright room with cook area (2-berner stove, 4-cup coffee maker, apartment-size refrigerator, dishwasher, and dishes and silverware for two). Food pantry on 1st floor with reasonably-priced snacks and frozen meals for breakfast, lunch and dinner. Free laundry facilities, wifi, coffee, popcorn, and DVD movies. Good daily rate through online deal-seeking service.
Cons: We were stupid: 4 out of 6 dryers in laundry facility were disconnected due to water damage from a leak that was being addressed by a contractor. We didn't realize that 6 washers feeding into 2 available dryers created a bottleneck, which forced us to dry our laundry in our room. In a perfect world, the staff could have hung signs on the washing machines warning of the potential bottleneck for those of us not observant enough to realize the issue, but I'm not going to blame the staff. If we had done our laundry the night before, we wouldn't have been inconvenienced at all.

9.1 Excellent
Pros: From the other reviews I expected something a bit more run down, to be honest. And it impressed. Should have been a little less $$$. But hey, it's Colorado...they're capitalizing on the tourism and I can't exactly blame them... Overall, it was a cool location with outdoor hallways (for lack of a better term). I got a great room in the back of the building farthest from the highway and on the third floor. So that definitely sealed the deal for me on feeling like I got my money's worth. Overall I would stay here again.
Cons: I didn't like that it was so close to the highway, although that's not exactly a fault individual to this particular hotel. It was definitely overpriced. Should have been $20-40 less for the quality. But I'd still recommend it.
5.4 Okay
Pros: The staff was very friendly. It is great that dogs are welcome. The bed was super comfy!
Cons: Room was modern looking but the bathrooms were run down and old. There were crickets and spiders In Our ground level room. Musty smell.
8.2 Excellent
Pros: really appreciate being able to bring dogs! Nice looking hotel, comfortable inside, enjoyed sitting around the pool.
Cons: Not much room for breakfast and no computor's available for guests
9.1 Excellent
Pros: Front desk ladies were super helpful and friendly. Cared about making our visiting pleasant and seemed genuine about it. Rooms were smaller but clean and overall we were really happy.
Cons: Room said it sleeps 5: 2 adults and 3 children but only had 2 double beds.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Wonderful gal at the front desk!
9.7 Excellent
Pros: The customer service at the front desk was excellent.
Cons: The bathroom was a little dirty.

6.0 Good
Pros: Staff was courteous, friendly, and responsive.
Cons: Air conditioner was so noisy it kept us awake at night. Property was run down and not clean.
5.1 Okay
Pros: The shower head had a good flow rate with a variety of settings. The A/C was strong and effective despite a very hot day. The bed was comfortable (very subjective, I know!) and seemed quite clean.
Cons: The room had, for me, a funky smell immediately noticeable upon entering. If I hadn't been so tired and if I didn't think that all the rooms probably smelled the same way, I would have asked to change. I had a choice of first, second, or third floors. I asked if there were ever any complaints about people above and was told there weren't. Against my better judgement and usual choice, I went with the first floor. It was the wrong choice as I could often hear footsteps from above. If the price had been half of what it was, it would be an okay value. As this was a last minute decision--and a costly one--the value was quite poor. Given the odors, I wouldn't consider this a good value even at half the price.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: I liked how friendly the staff was. Very helpful!
Cons: No dislikes
4.2 Okay
Pros: The beds were clean and cleaning staff was friendly.
Cons: The hotel was under construction. Very dusty walking on first floor to elevator. Hotel staff not very accommodating, with the exception of the cleaning staff. I would probably try another hotel in the area for my next trip.

6.6 Good
Pros: Staff was very friendly.
Cons: Breakfast wasn't very good, pool area was run down, room was not the cleanest, bed was very hard/uncomfortable.
5.4 Okay
Pros: the breakfast bar, pool, and hot tub are the only reason i would go back
Cons: i didnt like the guys attidue towards us at check in
8.0 Excellent
Pros: There was a washer/dryer we could use
5.1 Okay
Pros: Location to our competition
Cons: Hard pillows and bed, breakfast wasn't very good, light flashing on the phone no one could fix
4.2 Okay
Pros: Hotel was clean for the most part
Cons: Front Desk calling me at 3 AM Front Desk double charging me after I already had a reservation Front Desk not properly booking me in a room putting me in potential danger and risk of theft Side door key card reader was broken so staff left a brick in between door and building to prop it open
3.1 Mediocre
Pros: The only thing I liked was having a sofa bed for my 3rd child.
Cons: I have never stayed at a hotel that I felt so unsafe, disrespected, and dirty. First of all, the "secure" door on the side of the hotel would not latch which made me feel very uneasy. When I talked to the lady at the front desk, she simply said, "Yah, I put the order in like two weeks ago, but it hasn't been fixed." This was after I had called up to the front desk from the room phone, which was apparently broken, because she couldn't hear me. She said, "I can't hear you. Call back!" and then hung up. Not very friendly. Lastly, the pool water was disgusting! My kids came out smelling like a toilet and even they said the water was dirty and they couldn't see 2 feet in front of them while swimming! Gross! Never coming back!
6.2 Good
Pros: I liked the size of the room. King bed, the reason to book it was for the jetted bath tub, only if it was in working order. Big enough for two. It did have a sparsely equipped gym room. An indoor pool area. You have to pay extra to use the in room safe if you desire to. Kind of so, so I guess. It has its plus and minus going. Been to better and been to worse places. It's an all walks of life type of place.
Cons: No plug for the in room jet tub. The very reason why I booked the room. The tub could not hold water so, no jet tub experience after a long travel day....The room was an adjoining room and the other people smoked and used incense to mask their party smoke. It reeked of cover up. The key cards were a problem too with them not working after 3 key cards sets issued. It was quite noisey and thin walls. Breakfast was kind of ok. After not being able to relax and enjoy our jet tub for half the night, finally they bring us a plug for the tub many hours later. Then the jets were on (finally). Talk of discounts were offered for all the inconveniences we experienced.
9.1 Excellent
Pros: quiet, comfortable beds
Cons: small coffee pot in room - but could go to kitchen area; no private area for business (desktop was adjacent to checkin area & very visible; not conducive to conference call). Safety - if customer slipped on ice in parking lot, you'd have an issue. Could've easily been cleared since snow was 2 days old and such a minor amount for Denver.

Pros: This use to be a nice place to stay. It has gone way down hill.
Cons: Tried to put us in a room that smelled like someone had died. Then I asked for a different room only to get a room that the sheets had not been changed. We have been staying here since 2003 we decided we will not stay here again. What a dump. The breakfast was the worst cup of coffee and a pieceof bread.

Pros: The price was good.
Cons: We didn't like the fact that after one night of staying there and despite the fact that we were leaving the very next morning didn't seem to matter to the owner who made us move to another room so they could rip up the carpet in the room we were in, (which by the way the carpet didn't get ripped out). They put us in a room that had just had the carpet replaced and the smell of the glue was so strong it made me sick to my stomach. I went to the lobby and requested another room. In the process of moving I lost my keys to my car and had to frantically search for them. Luckily I found them. We were told that the owner was the one who insisted we and about 4 other people be moved even though we were all checking out the next day. In my opinion the owner was very inconsiderate and didn't care that he was inconveniencing his guests. We will never stay at this hotel again, nor recommend it to any of our friends. The owner needs to take a course in Guest Relations.

Cons: No complaints Wish breakfast had more choices

Pros: front desk person was kind and offered us another room
Cons: There was a suspicious couple who was obviously not staying there lurking at the door waiting for us to enter so they could get in the building. The bedsheets were on inside out, there was a stain on the blanket. This was touted as a non smoking hotel and there was obviously smoking on the floor where our room was. We checked out within 20 minutes of checkin.

Pros: My mother came in from NM, I came in from NE . She arrived 2 hours before me,when asking the hotel if she could check in instead of me, they were rude and told her nope, not possible. So I called 1800-hotel. They changed everything for me after I explained. With No rudeness or fuss. She went back to check in and the man, was even more rude. Walked to the other side of the counter and didn't ask her to come down. Then requested her Id and cc. So she slid them down the counter to him...Then he said ."how dare you throw your cards at me!!!!" In an distressing voice... She then explained, she slid them to him and he didn't say a word. Then after gathering and inputting everything he left her cards on that end of the counter and didn't hand them to her.... Handed her the room keys and that was it. No thank you for choosing us..No apologies for his crappy behavior. We never got the crib we requested either, the bathroom had black short hair all over the door and discussing black tape holding the towel rack up! We never use this location again.

Pros: Convenient, safe, clean, free Wi-Fi, free breakfast buffet, affordable and great staff.
Cons: Wish the breakfast buffet was open longer on rhe weekend.

Pros: The bed was good.
Cons: Two large brown stains on the bed spread, the toilet bowl lid was not on correctly. The towels in the bathroom looked like they were thrown there. One of my group member had hair on her bed and the floor was not vac. She went to another room and the floor was messy again and they gave her another room and a maid had to dust mop the wood floor. Cont. Breakfast at 6 AM, not so. I got there at 6:15 and was told to come back shortly. My first time here and my last. Thank you.

Pros: I did not like it!
Cons: First off I got there at 3:00 when it said to check in there were two cops in the parking lot arresting a guy..The hotel advised me that we could not check in until after 4:00 no rooms we’re clean yet! We get in our room around 11 after our concert and the room is dirty hair on the floor and bathtub. The ceiling looked to have a leak and is sagging and had a hole in it! Don’t stay here...
7.4 Good
Pros: The on-line reservations were convenient. Overall the stay was good. We checked in very late at night and it was good that there was an employee there and available right away.
Cons: The room could have been cleaner. There was still some sort of sticky substance on the desk area. Perhaps where a soft drink or something had been sat by previous guests. The mirror and sink area was not detailed very well. The only other complaint was the quality and thickness of the pillows. They left some to be desired.

Pros: The location was good overall.
Cons: Kind of noisy being next to a main highway. Wish they had some kind of sausage or bacon served with breakfast.
