Pros: lovely breakfast, staff very nice couldn't do enough for you. just need another mirror in the room so you can dry your hair without so much trouble a lot of sockets to plug in but no mirror to look at

Pros: Staff very welcoming. Particularly Carol the breakfast waitress. The breakfast is more than filling and the evening meal I had of soup , liver and bacon and apple crumble was excellent
Cons: Couldn’t get any heating in my room which was a little chilly

Cons: we stayed in the rooms at the back of the pub. the noise from above first thing in the morning was startling to say the least. we thought whoever was staying in the room above were coming through the ceiling.

Cons: Bathmat mouldy. Window in room open when we arrived made the room slightly chilly.

Pros: The food was excellent! Plentiful and well presented . The All the staff throughout were eager to be if service/ efficient and very friendly and welcoming.
Cons: Not withstanding the age of the property 14 th century the lighting throughout could have been better- it was a little difficult to see what we were eating in the dining room and bedrooms were lacking in better lighting.

Cons: Room was noisy, heating equipment outside the window was a nuisance. The food was a mixture of ok and poor. smoked mackerel at breakfast was literally stone cold. Bread for my starter arrived after I had finished it as did the garlic bread my wife ordered for her starter.
