Pros. Loved the building ! The decoration and the comfortable bed! Staff in front desk were really nice and helpful! Breakfast was ok.
Cons. A coffee machine in the room and maybe comply water would’ve been nice . The waiters of the “bistro” were not the best... very rude ! Hospitality in a hotel starts from front desk and all staff serving the different spaces ... so a waiter has to be as kind and nice as the front desk staff.
Pros. Traveling solo I was looking for a bargain knowing most of y time would be spent touring. I got a bargain, but you get what you pay for. The room was fine, but was in the basement. Every time a nearby door closed, it slammed and was distinctly audible. The walls overall are paper thin, don't expect to have a private conversation. Breakfast was included and was more than satisfactory. The staff is also very nice and helpful. I think this is a great hotel if you're not traveling on a budget. From what I've seen the rooms in "first class" upstairs look lovely.
Pros. Great location and historic building. No gym though. Breakfast mediocre but you can easily find alternatives around.
Cons. The sun shields were broken, we could not sleep well because of all the light coming in an they only fxed it after 2 nights
