The resteraunt was very good, with exceptional food and wine, combined with good service in most cases it was a very nice stay and would certainly stay there again.
The room was a bit small, and the floor creaked, which caused the wardrobe to creak also. A couple of the young male bar staff, were a little cocky on a couple of occasions, first time was when I asked for a glass of house red wine after my dinner; the young lad, just said 'We don't do house wine' so when I questioned, this because it's what I had been requested on two occasions with my dinner, with no problem, he just said, 'I can't help that, we don't do house wine! Personally I found this a bit anti-social. The second occasion was when a friend of mine who I was having a drink with before dinner; my friend ordered a drink at the barn to have a similar issue with one of the young barmen, being a bit rood. To be honest it was a bit too much of a coincidence to me that two different barmen being a bit anti-social/cocky to patrons.
