Fantastic no expense spared on the interior design, the place is spotless and it makes you feel a complete failure for not being able to afford a house like this. Great service perfect location chilled Cava on arrival gratis was a great touch. Go there you wont be disappointed.
It was all good, in fact better than good. I did not like the previous reviews saying the place was bad it is not and is reasonable for the ridiculous level of investment by the owners in time money money and love, it is people like this that protect and future proof our heritage so leave them alone. I hasten to add I am not a friend or relative unfortunately as I might have inherited the place.
The Staff were very friendly - especially Jay. Nothing was too much to ask for & he was always eager to help.
Our room (Cleopatra) was the smallest, which we knew at time of booking. It was compact but quirky.
The Court House was just perfect, it has been done up to a high standard and the room we stayed in - King Charles was fabulous. The glass of Cava on arrival was a lovely touch. The breakfast was very nice and served by friendly and helpful staff. The only shame for us was that we only booked one night, we will definitely stay again for longer to explore the area.
Location and area was wonderful
The size of the bathroom was not made clear on the website. If we had known the bathroom was so small (The Tempest room) we would have chosen another room
The staff where very friendly and helpful and good parking. Also being central was good.
We stayed in the Othello room which unfortunate had stains on the carpet and also on the pillow protectors. The breakfast plates where always cold and you had to make your own toast. It was also difficult to get in through the electric gates as the key fob didn't work. My wife had to go through the church to the side gate to be able to operate the switch for the main gates. We did try to contact the reception but there was no one available.
