Only after booking on Kayak, received confirmation email that informed of 15% "resort fee" + 1% tax. Upon checkin was charged 15% + 9% tax, and was told by registration desk to take it up with Kayak. Seriously, 24% extra in hidden fees and even misinformation on total cost in confirmation email? This is misrepresentation and I should be refunded these fees.
I was treated as a special guest from the moment I arrived. Madison, at the front desk, upgraded me to a loft suite and arranged it so I did not have to change rooms (as I expected I would because I had screwed up my travel plans). She was friendly, cheerful and pleasant. Rory, our shuttle driver, picked us up and hauled us to Hola restaurant and back with good humor and grace (even when some of our group had had a few drinks and became boisterous). Larry, who served me in Carson's restaurant for breakfast was attentive without hovering; I felt well served. All in all, a great stay in a wonderful room in a truly lovely area.
Dining at the Lodge was excellent. Quiet, clean, relaxing and fresh snow.
My boyfriend and I (and our dog) had a lot of fun at this resort. It was Memorial Day weekend, so it was pretty crowded with people, including the spa, but nevertheless, we did have a relaxing time. The bed was very comfortable and I wanted to sleep forever. Unfortunately, it seems like there could be some billing issues that we will have to deal with, because they charged us our deposit twice. Hopefully it does not retroactively ruin my visit there. Also, after I visited the spa, they tried to deny the coupon that the hotel distributed at checkout. Weird, and it made me feel really uncomfortable to have to push the issue in my relaxed state.
The hotel was nice and comfortable overall. Our tv would not work. They gave us three remotes to try on the tv but never programmed any of them for us. We spent over 2 hours trying to program them ourselves but had no success. It was very frustrating and not a very relaxing evening.

Room was very tired. Bath was old and worn. Location was across from railroad tracks with train noise during night.
Staff was friendly Room was dirty and many items such as bathtubs needed replacing. Many light bulbs burnt out. No hairdryer or fridge in room. Breakfast was poor. Located by highway and train tracks on other side of highway meant a noisy night. Would not stay here again.
price and the staff were very nice to switch the room to downstairs when they saw I was handicapped and could not go upstairs. needs major remodeling to be competitive in todays rooms. The coffee and breakfast was really lacking, but was not a problem as we were at a reunion.
There was nothing to like about this hotel. The ads for this hotel stated 'Newly remodeled with flat screen tv's and pillow top mattress''. The pillow top mattress was just a matress with a piece of egg crate foam on top. The flat screen tv was from the late 90's. Rude staff.

? Security was a big issue. the room keys opened any room not just yours. there was no way you could secure your room when not in it. I did mention this to the front desk clerk when checking out. He didn't seem to concerned.
The location The heat in the room did not work - only in the bathroom
Near Restaurant Desk did not allow rate reserved, charged me for extra people and another room, and when I addressed it, they scanned card for refund for one room. The charges for both rooms show on Card but no refund. I am contacting mgr and card company to resolve
