The facilities were very clean which was a pleasant haven from the cockroach-filled streets that everyone must walk through in central Taipei. Once we figured out our exact location in relation to the subway, it was a very easy and pleasant walk. The check-in procedure was a bit odd and confusing at first, but was actually very convenient once you realize how to do it. The staff's response time was very quick and we were in and out of our room without any issues.
It was unlucky that my partner was injured just before our trip which made climbing stairs difficult for him. There was no elevator in this facility, so keep that in mind if you're traveling with heavy luggage or with someone who will need assistance going up and down stairs.
The rooms were serviced and quite up to date. nice tv and enough power plugs. The rainshower was nice as well and we had air conditioning. The locations is great and all in all a good place for a cheap and short stay
The King bed was 2 King singles with really hard sides, which made the middle of the bed impossible to sleep on. The wallpaper was moldy and about to fall off in some places. The bathroom, especially shower was quite moldy, even some bright red mold, which is definitely not healthy, around the door. The check in service person/housekeeper looked quite unfriendly and didnt really talked to us at all. We got no advise for how to open the main door, when we called them they only said "just open it" and they hung up. The second time we gor a code for the pin pad and opened the door. The housekeeper inside didnt help us even he was standing right behind the door and must have heard us struggling to open the door.
There is a staff who speaks English.
No big sign outside to locate the place easily. Loud at night. Not sure if it's from outside.
Facilities in the hotel are all in good condition.
The room I got is quite nice, however, the bedding stuff is a bit dirty.
No home just a phone number with a complex system of box, code and key. almost impossible for a foreigner who arrives late without a local telephone ... The window of the room overlooks a wall.
