Pros. Location, dining, pool and lobby area, staff behavior, all done professionally and tastefully. The room was beautifully decorated and had a comfortable bed and classy bathroom. The buffet breakfast was excellent, so many choices! There were no armed guards, military police, dirty sheets or anything even close to what a previous reviewer said. Although the street was very busy, it was easy to walk across to the mall. The mall is comparable to anything in the US. It was being set up for Christmas with attractive decorations. Overall, it was a great experience. If you're staying in Tegucigalpa this place would be my top recommendation.
Cons. Crossing the street to mall is having to step between two lanes of cars without a true pedestrian crossing. It didn't really bother me, but I could imagine if I had kids, it would be a little frightening.
