The staff were very pleasant and tried to be helpful.
The breakfast was just so so. The bed was the most uncomfortable bed that I have ever slept on. The room was horrible and the furniture looked like it was from 1960.
Good selection during breakfast & dinner buffet - plenty of dishes & replenished regularly. We enjoyed the experience of kibbutz & the fact that you get an opportunity to be exposed to Orthodox Jewish culture - you will certainly not get it in the B&B in Tel Aviv.
We chose the hotel because of its convenient location for Jesus Trail hike - and quite frankly I would not have stayed there otherwise. We stayed in the old wing where rooms were very outdated & in need of refurbishment - certainly not what one would rate 4 stars by European standards (& certainly not for that price). Because the room was so old it was hard to say if some things were just ‘wear & tear’ or the room simply needed a good clean (air vents were full of dust that’s for sure). There is an indoor swimming pool & sauna but they are open only during certain hours - one session for men, one for women and one mixed. So unless you are lucky to arrive around the time of mixed session, you cannot enjoy the pool as a family/couple to cool down after the hot day. Also mixed session seemed to be mostly families with kids which favoured one particular corner of the pool where (cold) jacuzzi was. Perhaps it’s just a matter of managing expectations - just please don’t expect 4 stars resort with beautiful swimming pool facilities & plenty of things to do.
Good breakfast, serviceminded staff.
Shahills welcome at the Lavi Bar. Having walked from Kafr Cana. A happy welcoming person was certainly appreciated. Promote that guy from Arbel. The food was exceptional with great variety. The swimming pool was refreshing and the sauna and Jacuzzi were a welcome treat. The dedication to meticulous detail of organising diner, lunch and breakfast and the spacious room sizes provided a sense of clarity. Promote that chef. The customised omelette was very tasty.
Friendly helpful competent staff.
WiFi in room was erratic.

The Mediterranean Sea is just steps from the hotel.
The Kibbutz Lavi Hotel offers an indoor heated pool and lounge area that includes a dry sauna and a toddler pool. There is also a variety of children’s activities available and childcare services can be provided upon request. The hotel has a souvenir shop in the lobby, an air-conditioned gym and fitness center, a tennis court, and a courtyard. Bicycle rentals are available at this hotel, which also has a number of meeting and event spaces. There is an on-site synagogue and a Torah library for guest use.
Guests have their choice of deluxe rooms, garden rooms, and suites during their stay. All of the guest rooms include complimentary WiFi, TVs with premium channels, a coffee corner, closet storage, premium bedding and linens, and private baths with luxurious amenities. Select rooms and suites feature views of the mountains and private balconies, and there are a select number of family rooms available at the hotel.
