Our car broke down on our journey to the Grand Duc. Philip went out of his way to accommodate us late into the evening and assist us with communicating/translating with our breakdown company. The accommodation is very comfortable with the biggest bed I've ever slept in. There is a lovely outdoor area, and very impressive entrance. I especially liked the eclectic interior design. Would highly recommend to anybody wanting to stay in this region of France.

Great place to stay, great atmosphere, great host and staff. Spacious room and bathroom. Definitely would come back if in Valenciennes again.
With no air conditioning room can be warm. But in all fairness AC is not very common in France.

Good size room and bathroom
No restaurant or bar as stated on the web site. Central heating pipes creaked and ticked during the night and woke us up. Very expensive with not even a kettle or bottle of water in the room for refreshments.
