Indoor swimming pool and gym Furniture is dated, lighting is dim and dark
We stayed at Bolero for Irish Weekend and the car show. The hotel was in a perfect location, 2 blocks from the boardwalk. The rooms were clean. The full size fridge and freezer were also clutch. The indoor pool was nice, staff was friendly. The hotel bar/restaurant had a good band playing both nights we were there too. I highly recommend the Bolero and we will be back next time. Loved everything
Location and value. No complaints here.
Pool was great and really close to the beach! Beds were a little uncomfortable and the bathroom was small.
We really liked the location and the office staff were very nice, friendly and very accommodating. For just the two of us we had a great time and the room was nice for just a night away and it was within walking distance to the beach and boardwalk which was very nice not having to drive anywhere.
The location to the beach and boardwalk was great, and was still close to restaurants and things in town. We had a nice beach view even on the side of the building. Everything was clean. The staff was very nice. For the price, it met our purposes for a long weekend away. You had to wait a while for the toilet to refill to be able to flush again. The internet didn't work. The balcony was small, but wasn't a big deal.
Heated pool, close to access the beach, staff was nice No private balconies, only 1 elevator, rooms were dated, the dresser in our room was broken. I don't understand why hotels think that they don't need to be updated ever after 20 years!
Beach & Surroundings (Ocean is in view and a couple of hundred feet away) Flat screen, HD TV worked well. Wildwood Boardwalk about a half mile up the beach with rides, stands etc. (Wildwood Crest, where the motel is located, does not have a boardwalk). Town has many decent restaurants plus the usual assortments of chain food places. Geared to family Ocean beach fun ! Older motel (`50s-`60s ?), fairly well maintained, everything (bed, sink, toilet, tub) is SMALL. Found some previous guests items in a bag in the bathroom under sink cabinet (Cleaning staff ?) Absolute minimum on everything . . . shower and sink water flow, soap bars, shampoo, seems like your living in "TinyTown" ! Pool was small but OK. I understand that this area has only a three month season and can probably not afford major improvements, but it would have been very "tight" for two adults and two children to live in this room for a week. (we were only two adults for two days). Typical Wildwood Motel . . . great beach, so, so accommodations.
Bristol Plaza was a good value hotel to stay in. The staff/front desk were excellent. We requested an ocean front room and got. The room was reasonably clean. The bedspreads need replaced and updated.
Location, a beautiful view of the beach and ocean. Light bulbs were dead in most places. The staff did come and replace them soon after we notified them.
Beautiful Hotel ! Beautiful view of the ocean and right down the road from the board walk! It was wonderful to eat breakfast while looking at the beach! Only thing I would I didn't like our stay was the parking lot is rather small tight fit for parking spots.
The view and the kitchen The beds were not very comfortable.
Parking was convenient, friendly staff, right on the beach, loved the fact that it has a wooden board walk into the beach. Bed was too hard.
Very nice staff, allowed parking at site after check-out Not well maintained. Lacked hair drier, but holder still in wall.
I did not like the service, the room, the price. The room was not clean, no towels, no soap. The staff was rude. This hotel was listed as a four star hotel. I don't believe it, it think it's one star hotel. The price was very expensive.
The hotel's location in Wildwood Crest is great. It's right on the beach, and the 'tram car' to the boardwalk stops right out front everyday from 5pm till midnight. It's far enough away from the bar district of Wildwood that it is very quiet and great for families, or anyone who wants to relax more than party. The room was large and comfortable, side from the shower. The pool was also nice, not counting the spa. Of course most other beach hotels in the area could say all of that, so... For the price we paid, the hotel just didn't deliver. It just didn't offer much of anything besides it's location. The main luxury was the pool, and the spa connected to the pool was cold and noisy. The shower has nearly no pressure! Taking a shower was frustrating and not relaxing. There was rarely anyone at the front desk, so if you needed help or had questions your pretty much on your own after 5pm. The pool has no one watching it. I was there while a couple of small children swam unattended, which is something to consider if you have small children yourself. On our last day there a large family took over the whole pool area and noisily splashed, dived and played loud music, despite clearly posted rules against it. No one from the hotel was around to stop them. Also, the housekeepers didn't change or sheets, they just made the bed. The Granada is not particularly cheaper than any of the other hotels in the area, if you do some research I'm sure you can find a better option.
