This city hotel is located in the World Hertiage Site of Zacatecas, only 5 minutes from the city centre. The central bus station is only 10 minutes away, while the airport is situated 20 minutes from the hotel. The modern hotel building which was renovated in 2005 is ideal for families and those travelling on business. The hotel is fully air-conditioned and comprises a total of 97 rooms spread over 2 floors. Facilities include: 24-hour reception, restaurant, bar, café, shop, Internet/WLAN access, currency exchange, safes and a playground. There is a function room for events and conferences, as well as a theatre/auditorium. Room service, laundry and dry cleaning service is available. The hotel also has its own parking facilities. All rooms are spacious and come fitted with double beds and en suite bathroom with toiletries. Air conditioning, individually adjustable heating, telephone and satellite/cable TV come as standard. Each room has its own entrance hall and balcony. The hotel restaurant ''Los Colorines'' serves Mexican and international food. The hotel bar offers national and imported drinks in an informal atmosphere.

Pros (+) The property felt very secure and the staff was incredibly helpful. The room was well furnished. The bar had an enjoyable smooth jazz band playing in the evening and the bartender served me some delicious drinks. We had trouble ordering pizza as I had the wrong phone number and was nervous about my poor spanish speaking ability, so I asked the front desk gentleman for help and he did me the huge f...
Cons (-) We had difficulties connecting to the wifi. It would connect but then lost connectivity and hardly reconnected after that. This problem happened many times during my two weeks in Mexico at most hotels and Airbnb homes at which I stayed.

Pros (+) Old and dirty rooms, it doesn't look like the pictures at all. I felt conpletely dissappointed.
Cons (-) The rooms are too old and dirty. Really noisy. For me by far the worst hotel experience. It is completely wrong to show pictures that don't belong to what you're buying. I have some pics of the room I can share if you're interested in looking at them.
