Pros. Easy to get to with reasonable good parking over the weekend. Great valve for money and very helpful staff
Cons. More attention to minor maintenance eg lights, towel rails and telephone
Pros. Professional, helpful, and friendly first-rate front desk staff, 24-7. Nice restaurant downstairs, and good local café down the street for brekky. Also, a German Club across street has a good menu. We booked a clean and roomy studio unit, nice view. Hotel has a GREAT LOCATION downtown, an easy 10-min walk to Rundle Mall and 15-min walk to botanic gardens and the new Nat'l Wine Center. Rooftop pool is tiny but has a dynamite city view. Have no facilities catering to children, but that's fine for us.
Cons. Parking is a challenge - a parking garage a block away has weekend $7 flat-rate, but weekday parking on and off-street is dear$$. Has no on-site health club, however they have a relationship with a fitness center across the street for $10 per visit. The internet is free, although sometimes a bit spotty. But these things are typical of Aus cities and we were able to work around all of those. Only negative issue we had was our room wasn't cleaned 1 day of our 3-day stay, which is the only reason we didn't give it an "excellent" rating. Otherwise, a lovely and intimate place that we would highly recommend.
