Great pool area.
All staff did not care of the small amount of guests that they were lucky to have. It was as if they had forgotten how to offer service. The reception staff were the worst, they could not even pretend to put a smile on when a simple question was asked. They seemed annoyed to have to work after the restrictions of Covid-19 has been lifted.
Bedrooms were very clean and comfortable staff were helpful. Food was well cooked
Not enough variety on food. No area to sit in hotel. No coffee facilities in room Pool not open
A comfortable hotel in a quiet but convenient location, close to the sea and various facilities.
Very friendly staff, small hotel not too crowded, close to the beach, convenient for walking.
To get to the Alicante city centre you need to take a bus or other means of transport. 3rd bed for my son was quite uncomfortable and unstable.
The room was pleasant and modernly designed. It had a small balcony and the window was open to the outside street, but not too close from it.
There had been two issues during my stay at this hotel. The first one was that there had been ongoing work just in front of my room during unacceptable hours, one during the morning from 8:00am, and the other during the evening at around 9pm. This was very annoying and unprofessional. The workers were working by hand with chisels and hammer, outside, on a sort of field in front of the rooms, removing outside walls of the hotel, and they were not caring at all that people were sleeping at that time. Then, the second issue I had with this hotel was that I forgot my glasses - not sunglasses by the way, as the hotel repeatedly claimed they were - that the hotel retrieved after I called them twice. Then, I had to call them almost everyday during an entire week to make them send me the glasses by mail from an official post office in Spain, to no avail. At the end of the week, they got tired of my calls and nonchalantly gave me a number to call a supposedly mailing agency, yet it was later explained by the hotel as a "private firm". So I did call this number, but the person told me I need to give my bank account to them, like a spam or something, so I say that I only want to pay by credit card to send the glasses, but they could not tell me. So, after ending my calls quite abruptly, I could not succeed to have them on the phone again. As a result of so much incompetence, corruption and dishonesty from the hotel, I was left with no other choice than to retrieve the glasses by myself - the glasses were quite expensive and precious to me as I cannot see without them, although the hotel did not seem to care at all about that. And so I finally drove with my car 2600 km to retrieve them, but when I arrived, the receptionist, after not doing his job properly, told me that it was super easy after all. It took all this as a joke, I think. I am sorry, but this is the first time for me an Hotel behave so badly and irresponsibly toward its customers. It is so dishonest!
