The Townhouse Hotel

Everything was very clean. Very friendly and helpful staff. Perfect location. Good communication with the staff. The room had a nice view over a canal, with lots of restaurants, cafés, and shops very close by. Location, bed, area was really nice and clean.

Stairs is very steep and dangerous. The mattress and undersheet did not fit. Thin walls was the only deficiency. The room was okay, could've done with some heavier curtains or a heater though... got pretty cold at night! No aircon, room got very hot and when the windows were open mosquitos would come in. On a rainy day the roof leaked into the room soaking the bed and the floor. Bathroom sink was broken and water wouldn’t go down the drain. Ants crawling all over the bed. The room could have been cleaner, especially the floor. The bed I slept on next to the window kept sloping towards the floor due to an un-level surface. The room was so cold I never slept on the first night even with the heater on full it just wouldn't get warm in there. Unfortunately the room is horrible starting from the terrible smell with which you are forced to live. Sheets not clean. Huge stains on floor. Bad stale smell. Small congested space. The rooms were very small, and the stairs terrible. The room and corridors were pretty small and the bed was very narrow.
