Pros: Absolutely fantastic stay we have had by Virginie, from the very first till the very last minute we was like we have found a second home for us. Highly recommended!
Cons: Nothing at all.
Pros: Amazingly good breakfast, likely the best of our entire trip. Homemade jellies, pastries, and breads. Delicious chocolate croissants. Beautifully remodeled centuries old farmhouse with big open rooms set in a very small farming community that is very photographic with classic rural scenery. Relaxing, quiet place that gave us a chance to unwind after traveling to Paris, Marseilles, and Milan. Our hosts were very nice though they spoke limited English and we spoke very little French. Still, we learned quite a bit about this awesome B&B, remodeled by Virginia's husband who has his own successful home remodeling and construction company. They were very accommodating despite our late arrival partially due to GPS issues caused by Booking, com not properly identifying their small town location as Brecy. They allowed us to stay after breakfast to take photos and hang out with their really cool goats, a mother and son duo complete with their own tree house. This family friendly B&B is perfect for families especially those with young kids offering places throughout the inn for art and play. We simply loved this place! We hope to return someday with our kids, maybe even our future grandchildren.
Cons: Just Booking.com not better identifying their small town for getting directions from our rental car's GPS. Chez Virgine and the family that owns it were fantastic, we really loved this place.
Pros: Loved the space - it's rare to find a 2-room apartment sleeping 5 in a small gîte. The boys loved the outside, lots of room for kicking a football around. And all 3 kids loved the 2 goats.
Pros: very kind and warm people, very clean and nice, quiet location, great breakfast, lovely coffee, close to the highway, ideal for a brake between the South of France and the North.
Pros: This is one of the nicest chambre doute that we visit. Our room was excellent, the hostess was charming and breakfast with homemade make a great.
Cons: There was nothing not to like.

Cons: The coffee.

Pros: Lovely hosts, beautiful and comfortable room, amazing breakfast
Pros: Beautiful property, in a hamlet off the beaten-track
Pros: Food, welcome, room and location
Pros: Corinne and Sylvestre were perfect hosts, welcoming and friendly. The chambre d'hote is in a wonderful rural location (nightingales singing at night) yet it's easily accessible. Our room was comfortable and attractive. We very much enjoyed the breakfasts and evening meals - Corrine is a great cook, and made everything herself. Our hosts are living "The Good Life", and we felt fortunate to be able to share it with them for a few days.

Pros: The owners are a simply lovely and funny couple whom make your stay extremely comfortable, that's why it's a 10 from me. Breakfast whilst continental, is all you would need.
Pros: The Hotel is authentic rural France. Don't expect a Hilton but the staff were so friendly, accommodating and made our stay fab.
Cons: A bit out the way and the town hall clock lets you know the time.....all night.
Pros: Breakfast was adequate. Hotel chosen for the location within the area. Room was very clean and reasonably appointed and represented good value.
Cons: We arrived at 14.40 and the hotel was closed and no one in sight. We were told by a neighbouring shop that the hotel would be open at 15.00. We waited until 15.15 and still no one at the hotel. We phoned the hotel from the shop and got a recording. I left a message that we were at the hotel and wanted to check in. We stumbled upon Serge in the street by the hotel. He was about to ride away on his bicycle. We said we wanted to check in and get to our room. He told us to come back at 1800. We were stunned. If the room was not prepaid for the whole stay, we would have looked for another hotel. We were not pleased.
Pros: Owners are so nice and helpful.

Pros: Tucked away in a cute and quiet town very convenient to Chablis and great wineries. For dinner, the food was fine, wine was great. When checking out, we tried to leave a tip, and the lady working there was very insistent that we didn't. I suppose its a cultural thing!
Cons: We stayed on the 2nd floor of the main house, which was pretty noisy because it faced the street. The bed was also pretty uncomfortable and very squeaky.
Pros: The food is superb and the wine list is amazing.
Pros: Our dinner was exceptionally delicious!

Pros: Evening meal excellent, we didn't take breakfast as we had a long trip ahead
Cons: All good but the stairs up to the second floor looked a little tatty, and that was the first thing we saw, gives a poor first impression but the room was fine.
Pros: A quiet, clean hotel perfect for an overnight stop near Avallon and the motorway. Decent parking in front of the room, lovely evening meal and breakfast. Clean room and bathroom, working aircon and comfy beds.
Cons: Staff very friendly but overworked in the restaurant. At least one more person would be necessary to wait on tables.
Pros: Comfortable rooms, larger bathroom. Reachable from outside.
Cons: Crowdy and rather untidy room used for breakfast. Cleaning terras and outside in general could be better.
Pros: Clean reasonable and comfy beds
Cons: The evening meal in the restaurant was not good but at least we weren’t charged for it.
Pros: The breakfast was buffet style and very good
Cons: We were a party of five and received 3 rooms: one on the ground floor and two on the first floor. The rooms on the 1st floor appeared to be of better quality than the ground floor. the items below are from the room at the ground floor: We arrived during on a heat day 42°C - the airco didn't work properly and the odor wasn't great. In the end we ended up shutting down the airco. The bathroom had broken tiles in the shower area and was covered by plastic wrappings - if tiles are broken we'd expect it to be repaired permanently - not by a temporary solution (which probably remains permanently) - we weren't informed that there was a temporary fix in the bathroom. Bugs were found in the bathroom - somehow logical as our room was on the ground floor and they probably sneak through the front door.. but still.. At midnight a tourist pack was dropped and made lots of noise... very thin walls
Pros: Close to Avallon. Lovely room. Staff were very friendly. Breakfast was amazing & very good value for money.
Pros: Close to autoroute
Pros: The breakfast was good for a low price, and the hotel itself was basic but okay
Cons: There was no stopper for the bath, and the restaurant was closed on sunday evening.

Pros: Cheap. Staff were very nice and helpful. Had a meal in the restaurant which was OK. Quiet location
Cons: Vending machines looked like they hadn't been used for years. The reception is through the campanile building. The premier plus building felt and looked abandoned, the once breakfast room looked derelict, very shabby even for a cheap hotel
Cons: It’s not possible to arrive late although while booking there is information it’s ok ..... what a lie !!!
Pros: If I arrive later than 9pm, still can have a self check in machine.
Cons: If someone standing outside the room having cigarette, I just have to close the window and turn on the air-conditioner.
Pros: The simplicity
